La Minga Hostel

Les chambres ne sont pas chauffées il fait super froid !! Et la pièce commune n’est franchement pas conviviale. Sinon le personnel est extrêmement gentil est serviable !

Nice hostel to stay in Castro. Friendly and helpful staff and only a few minutes from the bus terminal. Unfortunatly there is no outside area.

A fine hostel, but it was just not very clean and smelled a bit

Lovely, helpful staff-they had many tips on what to do and how to get there. Beautiful cat! Plumbing issues. I stayed in 3 different rooms: 1 smelled & the shower was cold; 2 no cold tap in the sink; 3 very hot or very cold water. No outdoor area & shared space lacks natural light, but overall a nice stopover. Close to bus stations

Personnel et notamment les volontaires très sympathiques et de bon conseils. Auberge en elle-même plutôt bien tenue avec équipement correcte. Seul bémol les parties communes pas hyper sympa bien que bien équipées notamment avec le manque de luminosité.

It's ok to stay there for a few days if you plan to explore around but don't expect to much in terms of cleanliness. The kitchen is definitely dirty, for bathrooms it depends on the day of the week. There was a cat who went everywhere including kitchen and living room tables where you cook/ eat. The dorms are ok but can get very cold. The staff is nice and gives good advices but it would be cool if they'd see obvious things which need to be improved.

The staff were SUPER helpful and lovely, helping us plan our next day and giving us recommendations of where to go. Hostel had a cozy vibe and the people we met were super friendly! Castro is small, but the hostel was in a good and easy to access location :)

✅ Ein angenehmes Hostel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern! Das Hostel ist gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. ❌ Leider war die Common area etwas wenig lebhaft. Das liegt wohl auch daran, dass dort nur wenig Tageslicht rein dringt.

Bel hostel pour se reposer mais pas assez de sanitaires. Il y a du personnel un peu moqueur, et d'autres très gentils !

Hostel bien equipado para viajeros, camas con cortitas, corriente, solo le falta luz personal a cada cama. Recepción con buena acogida e información de todo tipo, todo muy céntrico, recomendado para viajeros.

Incredibly welcoming. The owner was particularly helpful with giving recommendations for the area and helping me when I had to change my travel plans. Good vibe in the hostel with a mix of other solo travellers.

great hostel, located near the bus station, staff are kind and atmosphere is good. one of the showers has a broken duche and another one didnt lock

Great location and super friendly staff were the highlights of this stay! Overall, the hostel is clean, has a well-equipped kitchen and provides free coffee and tea. The place gets slightly cold from time to time but it was fine.

Great hostel, nice staff, comfy beds, good shared spaces, fast internet (I worked while I was here). Not super social during my Tues-Thurs work week but the hostel is conducive to people connecting in the living room with lots of couches and sitting spaces. I did my laundry here, they had it done same day! The person at the front desk, Camila, checked me in and was super friendly and gave some great recommendations around town. The cat is very cute!

We really enjoyed staying at La Minga. Great facilities, clean and comfortable, super helpful staff and a good location. Definitely recommended.

I am traveling for years but write notes rarely. This time, I have to.....:). This LA MINGA hostel is exceptionally good. They have a well equipped kitchen, it is clean but the best part is the staff who without exception super nice and kind. Honestly, perhaps the best ecperience here in Latin America. They also have a lovely cat putting smiles on guests' faces.... You will love this hostel!!

Great hostel! The location was very convenient near the bus terminal. The staff were friendly and gave great recommendations for what to do with my time in Chiloé.

Excelente lugar para descansar, buen ambiente, tranquilo y cercano a todo ya que está en el centro. La dueña y el staff muy amables.
