- ⚠️☠️Warning⚠️Beware of Bed Bugs at This Hostel! / 注意！このホステルのトコジラミ被害にご注意ください I stayed at Dream Hostel & Hotel in Tampere and suffered a severe bed bug infestation. On my first night in Room 11 (booked via Booking.com), I thought the bites were from mosquitoes. However, after staying in Room 8 (direct booking) a few days later, I was bitten much worse by bed bugs and could not sleep in the room at all. The itching and swelling were unbearable. Despite reporting this to the hostel, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. They insisted no bed bugs were found after inspections and claimed my symptoms were allergic reactions, even suggesting algae in local lakes could be the cause. I do not have allergies and have clear evidence that the bites were from bed bugs. Their refusal to refund or compensate is unacceptable. *🏥 Medically, it is well-documented that bed bug bites do not always cause an allergic reaction on the first exposure. The immune system often reacts more strongly after a second or later exposure. This fits exactly with what happened to me: I thought it was a mosquito at first, but the second time the symptoms were intense — classic of a second bed bug reaction. This further proves the hostel’s denial was inaccurate and careless. If you value your health and comfort, please avoid this hostel. There are many other accommodations in Tampere with better hygiene and guest care. Early buses run frequently from here, so you won’t lose transport options by choosing elsewhere. - Tycker inte om unisex rum, en annan som var i samma rum så han var inte tyst och brydde inte om andra som sovde där. Han tala högt och otrevligt sätt

- The receptionist treated me bad

+ > Employees working at the reception desk were very nice. > Beddings are included.

- > Only 1 bathroom and toilet per room + 4 or 5 showers for everyone in the common areas, clearly not enough when the place is packed > Only 1 induction stove with 2 coils for the entiere dorm. This is quite dissapointing, I had to wait till very late to use the kitchen so i could have a spot. > In my room workers outside were making noise around 2am, which is inconvenient if you wanna sleep (which you probably do) > The 10 bed dorms are very narrow, mine was not even full but i could not put my coat anywhere and it was very difficult to find a spot for my bag. > No curtains for privacy while it is now the common norm in most dorms.

- I didn't know that there is no towel included. Luckily I could rent it.

+ Todella puhdas ja uuden oloinen hotellin puoli. Äänieristyksessä hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta hiljaiset oli yöt. Rahoille vastinetta 😊

+ Hostelli oli siisti ja yhteiset tilat viihtyisät. Minulla oli niin aikaisin juna lähdössä etten olisi klo 8 alkavaa aamupalaa ehtinyt syödä niin minulle tehtiin jääkaappiin aamupala odottamaan paperipussukassa, huomioitiin vielä glut ruokavaliokin. Oli todella ajattelevaista. Minulla oli huone naisten makuusalissa ja siellä oli jäljellä yläpetipaikka, aluksi se tuntui vähän harmilliselta mutta siellä oli ihan hyvät tilat, mahdollisuus ladata puhelinta, hyllytaso ja lamppu. Alapedin alapuolella oli omat vedettävät laatikot tavaroille, niihin voisi viritellä oman lukon jos hoksaa ottaa mukaan. Yöllä oli rauhallista ja sai hyvin nukuttua. Todella lyhyt matka Ratinan kauppakeskukseen ja juna-asemalle käveli 10 minuutissa! Budjettimatkalaiselle täydellinen paikka ja tulen varmaan käyttämään tätä paikkaa toistekin, sai kyllä rahalle vastinetta.

+ Good location, 10-15 min walk from the city center. Good value for money, especially for an overnight stay.

- Sound insulation is not so good. If there’s other guests in the lounge/kitchen area you can hear everything. The bed is hard and not so comfortable, but it’s manageable for a short stay.

+ Yleinen pieni oleskelutila oli kiva ja keittiö.

- Hieman epäselvä ohjeistus,olin hotellin puolella ja hieman epäselvä oli ohjeistus , etenkin kun halusi poistua kaupungille niin mistä ovesta poistutaan jo ylhäältä lähtien .

+ Hyvät oleskelutilat ja rento meininki.
