NOT A HOSTEL

Super soft mattress, overpriced, charges for anything basic you ask for (like an extra pillow). Not very social, everyone in the common area is on their laptops. They ask you to write them a 5 star review for a free extra pillow, so I suspect a lot of the high ratings are due to actions like this.

Not a great hostel + they have COCKROACHES :) - Location is good, but that's about it. - Our 4-person dorm room was so freaking small (no place on the floor to but all our bags) - Mattresses were super soft and not comfortable - Cleanliness was passable. Dirty in the staircase going up to the elevator (which is on 2nd floor)... However, you still have to wear slippers throughout the whole hostel, which makes no sense... - When I told staff that there were COCKROACHES in the room and in the hal...

Not that clean. Had to get a private room due to covid guidelines and tbh it wasn't worth the money. Also I lost a shirt and contacted them multiple times but they didn't even reply up until almost a week later

Staff were nice and accommodating but room were too smelly! There was this Indian or Western guy who smelled awfully plus their things were all over the floor!

The hostel wasn't the best. A little hard to socialize with people The check-in tooks for ever and I dont understand why The house keeping only changing towels not doing anymore things. I requested twice on my stay house keeping and for the 2nd time nobody even come It not match center but it in a walk-distance from an mtr that can get you to everywhere Not the best, not the worest 3/5.

Booked a hostel for some social activity. Staff is nice. I booked a standard room but wasn't happy at all with the value for money. There was mold in the bathroom. The room was quite worn-out as well as the bed. Could have had much more comfort and cleanliness in a hotel.

The room smelled moldy. They provided no towels. Once removed the case, the pillows were pretty yellow with dirt

Perfect base for your trip to Taipei! It is a close 10 minute walk to Xiemen station. The area is lively with many restaurants and shops. I loved how instead of offering breakfast at the hostel, they partner with about 4-5 different restaurants in the area and will give you meal vouchers (1 for every day of your stay) for breakfast. You can get your food anytime within the store's hours so you don't have to wake up super early for your free 'breakfast.' Super social & beds were super comfortable

Best social vibe Hostel in Taipei. Great placd to make friends and now they offer Breakfast voucher, despite limited options.

Meander was so good, I extended my stay twice with them! It is among the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Dorm amenities feel luxurious, bathroom was modern and clean, common area had a great vibe, and the staff was so friendly. The vibe was social, but not overwhelmingly party which I liked. Only minor downside is the walk to the nearest metro, but you get used to it. Otherwise the location is great and close to Taipei main station.

This is a great place to stay if you already have plans. However if you're a solo traveler without any plans, I found the social interaction in this place was a bit lacking. Overall I would still recommend staying at this place, but it can be improved by having more social activities and having the staff socialize more with the guests.

Location requires a bit of walk but its in Ximendin so its nice. The staff are really nice and everything is clean. The only thing is that its a bit pricey for a hostel but if you aim for premium experience its perfect for you.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here. The common area is spacious and is easy to socialize with other travelers (we were here in mid-April). The bunked beds were well-designed and we felt we had privacy within our beds. The only minor issue is that the blankets were too warm for us, so we were sweating and needed to open the curtains a bit to let the AC's cold air to better circulate in our beds. Despite that, the hostel is clean and we would be willing to stay here again.

Great place to stay in Taipei. Very close to the Ximen train station. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and the vibe in the common area is very social and friendly.

Ist soweit okay. Es is ein großes Hostel mit vielen Gästen. In der Common Area kommt man schon mal zum Quatschen und es gibt nen Gruppenchat. Preislich ist es nicht günstig und die Erreichbarkeit von der Main Station ist als ok einzustufen - Ximen Station ist 10-15 min zu Fuß, was mit mehr Gepäck nervig sein kann. Sonst ist die Lage in Ximen super, da ist was los 🙌🏻

Really clean, comfortable Hostel. Social Atmosphare there, was a little bit to crowded with US Citiziens.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and pedestrian area and metro. Well equipped kitchen with Free tea and water. Private rooms were clean and bathrooms had lots of hot water and pressure.

Genuinely what an incredible hostel. Very close to Ximen station to get around the city. The restrooms are clean and the lobby area is really nice.

good place for the first few days in Taiwan. More social than most places in Taiwan, easy to access, nice staff.

Loved this place. Highly recommended this hostel. Solo traveller and made lots of friends. My birthday was during this trip too and it was great. Couldn’t recommend more.

I liked my stay overall. The staff was friendly and tried accommodating my requests. The hostel is also well stocked and they try to maintain cleanliness. The rooms however are extremely stuffy - my roommates didn’t want the AC and it completely cut circulation off. Plus the bathrooms are ensuite- so anyone taking a shower makes the room more humid. It’s a decent value for money though and the location is great
