Costels Mirissa

The property was clean and the host was really helpful throughout. They had good breakfast and great connectivity to cafe and beaches. Highly recommended!

Ci siamo trovati molto bene al Costels, la posizione è strategica lontana dal chiasso ma vicinissima e tanti locali e a metà tra la silent beach e la spiaggia principale. Colazione super buona e che variava. La signora è stata gentile e disponibile. La zona comune è carina, con vari divanetti all’aperto e un amaca. L’unica cosa un po’ così così è stata che la stanza era molto calda per cui abbiamo acceso l’aria che però faceva un gran rumore e che il Wi-Fi dalla stanza prendeva p...

Really good stay

Don't come here. My room was full of mold, the AC wasn't working, and the mosquito nets had holes. I managed to switch rooms, but the new one was also full of mold, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and a spider. ​On top of that, the staff constantly watch TikToks at max volume right outside the rooms, which is very unpleasant. ​You are better off spending your money and time somewhere else

Had aircon which was a bonus. Wasn’t super social for some reason, a little bit out of the centre of Mirissa but if you like nature, jungles and wild beaches are a short walk away.

Wenn man für 2 Nächte in Mirissa einen sicheren und ruhigen Platz zum Schlafen sucht dann ist es in Ordnung, ein wirklicher Wohlfühlfaktor oder Sri Lanka Feeling ist dort allerdings nicht vorhanden.

We had a great stay here, the hostel is ideally located for the port for whale watching trips but also a short walk to the main beaches. The room was clean, really large and had AC and a mosquito net which was great. We did not spend much time with other travellers while there but were made so welcome by Assam, who taught us to play Carrom and went above and beyond to make our stay great - he made our time in Mirissa! The only drawback is the kitchen was functional but could have been cleaner.

Room and bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Good location to everything but far enough away that its quiet. Only things are the hot water is powered by solar energy so if its not been sunny like how it was our 4 night stay you will have no hot water as their is no reserves. Breakfast you don’t get options which meant i was served fruit i was allergic too and other items i dont eat.

Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei der Buchung von Ausflügen, auch der Wäsche Service hat hervorragend geklappt und ich hab gut duftende Wäsche zurück bekommen. Der Weg zum wundrrschönen Strand sind 5 Minuten.

Sauberes und familiäres Hostel in guter Lage nahe vom Strand, Bars und Restaurants und Bushaltestelle und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Großer Dorm und großes Bad mit Schließfächern. Die Hosts sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Preisleistung ist super! Das Personal ist nett und die Zimmer waren sauber. Es gab ein kleines Frühstück inklusive.

Clean rooms! Overall good hostel. CLEAN bathroom with dental kit would recommend for 1-2 days. Kitchen was not good sadly dirty. Fridge was good!

Top für den Preis! Das Doppelbettzimmer war super, allerdings ließ die Sauberkeit im Badezimmer sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ebenso die Common area, Küche und Flure…das macht der Preis aber wieder wett. Perfekt zum dort schlafen und tagsüber woanders sein. Die Mitarbeiter haben leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück zubereitet.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Nichts auszusetzen. Mit einer Buchung macht ihr nichts falsch.

The stay was very affordable, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the first room we were given was quite dirty — both the bedroom and the bathroom were not clean. We even found salamanders in the room, even though all doors and windows were closed. We were given a new room, which was cleaner and more comfortable.On the positive side, the breakfast was very good, especially considering the price, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, next time I would probably choose a different host...

Location was near secret beach so good if you want to visit there. There’s are no keys to get in or for the dorm rooms and we didn’t have a key so couldn’t use the locker. Bathroom was dirty when we arrived. They did then clean this at 11:30pm when they came in the room with everyone sleeping and turned all the lights on to do so.
