La Clave Hostel

The woman who works there is nice but I felt really uncomfortable there becauae of the people and it was not very clean. It has only 2 showers for everyone and 3 toilets. I think its not the best accomendation for women. Specially the area is dangerous

The place seemed very disorganized. They couldn’t find a key for my room, it took them 20 minutes. Then there was no power the next day until 130 or 2 pm, so I left the facility and moved to a new one.

Terrible experiencia he pasado en este hostal, me han dejado en una habitación compatida con otra persona y mientras dormia este huesped empezo a tocarme, me desperte y el estaba desnudo sentado en mi cama, estube apunto de golpearlo pero me controle, cuando le conte lo sucedido al dueño no hizo nada, absolutamebte nada, simplemente lo cambio de habitacion, a un abusador, me fui del hostal ese dia, y el abusador continuo ahi, claramente es unnlugar en el que nose preocupan por tu integridad.

I only stayed one night so I may not be the most equipped to leave a review but my experience here was not great. I landed quite late so I had tried to get in contact with the hostel to let them know and ask how to do the check in. No reply on the email and WhatsApp number listed on Hostelworld, so when I got there, there was nobody in reception. Luckily other guests were up and let me in, called the owner and found me a bed to sleep in. The bed was ok but the room was a mess.

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Not much of a hostel community vibe

Los servicios son muy limitados. La habitación no tiene iluminación natural, da justo a la calle en una planta baja por lo que se escuchan muchos ruidos. Además la ducha no disponía de agua caliente.

I picked this hostel based on a high rating. However, in my own experience, several things made it seem like this hostel was not well organized. I signed up for a dorm. The staff gave me in a room with a bunk bed and a large queen bed. Since there was a bunk, I assumed it was a dorm. Hostel situé dans un quartier résidentiel de Cali et plutôt sécurisé. La chambre privée était simpliste et plutôt confortable. Néanmoins, le lieu est un poils sale, notamment la cuisine car nombreux ne font pas leur vaisselle. Dommage ! Personnel sympathique.

The hostel in general is not bad for a short stay, but (as a woman) I also felt really uncomfortable because of the other guests. Someone smoked in one of the bathrooms, they left the facilities dirty and it was super noisy.

Lamentablemente un Hostel con mucho potencial pero con aspectos muy importantes a resolver que detallo al final. El staff es amable y los voluntarios han sido el alma de este hostel durante mi estancia. Cosas que no funcionaron: - encontré hormigas el primer día en la habitación debajo de la cama - insectos y hormigas en la cocina - no tuvimos gas día y medio - sin mesas para todos los huéspedes para final de año y después en el comedor

Quiet hostel in residential neighborhood. Easy 20 minute walk to Bulevar/rio Cali Small rooftop terrace.

Hostel bon marchédansunquartierrésidentiel calme et sur entre San Antonio et Alameda. Mais sale, surtout la cuisine !!! Dortoir sans lockers, rideau, ventilateur perso (compliqué pour les lits du haut), ni même porte qui tient fermée (!??).

Very good hostel. Monica (owner) is great and does everything to make sure all your needs are met:) it’s not super social but if you’re with a friend it’s a great place to chill. great breakfast and very good location.

La Clave is a very relaxing hostel close to San Antonio, bars, salsa bars and great restaurants. Monica is the best really helpful and lovely. Showers are hot, wifi good and beds comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped and include an oven which I used - most excellent!

super friendly staff, one of the cleanest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. even had soap in the shower. would definitely stay there again. perfect for a chill stay with nice people. rooftop terrace is also very pretty

The hostel has an airy layout and great panoramic views of the city. My private room had a great view, but the bed and the furniture was all very low to the floor, so the view wasn’t visible unless you were standing. Also, the couch in the room was soiled on the arms and overall the cleanliness could have been better. The hostel is in a residential neighborhood, so it’s quiet other than the terrifying sounds of dogs yelping and fighting at night. A five minute walk to the nearest cafe or tie...
