The owner was very rud She asked me not once two but three times to lower my volume in my phone when I was wearing air plugs Some Canadian people were making the noise not me Anyway next time the owner just make sure you compliant with the right person

La dueña del hostel es bastante fría por no decir desagradable. Parece que le debas un favor por estar allí. La habitación tener en cuenta que cama os toca porque a mi me dieron una litera que estaba cerca del aire acondicionado y casi me quedo tiesa. Al día siguiente estuve con resfriado. Tenían el aire a máxima potencia, me quedè helada, se lo comenté a la señora y su solución fue darme otra manita.... decir que el hijo si fue muy atento y encantador.

Belle piscine mais l eau trop chlorée pique et irrite les yeux! la dame gérante était antipathique, ne souhaitait ni communiquer ni échanger!!, n a pas daigné me renseigner sur les sites de plongée et snorkling, mais avait le temps de renseigner les retraités nord américains qui avaient dus prendre ses excursions, cette gérante doit avoir ses préférences et aversions pour privilégier certains touristes plutot que d autres!! sinon café soluble et sachets de thé de noël laissés par...

We enjoyed our stay here. The layout of the property was well set up and it was clean. The lady running the hostel is not very welcoming, which was the downfall of our stay. Upon our arrival we hopped out of our taxi and we’re met with “who are you” instead of “hello, how are you”. A very hostile welcome to say the least. She was incredibly rude and insulting when we inquired about alternative payment methods. She also tried to overcharge us. If you don’t like cats don’t stay here,...

All you need for a night in Cozumel. I'll be honest in saying that the owner felt a tad unwelcoming and harsh, but that might just be me reading things wrong. I wasn't actually here long, just staying for one night, but it had all I needed. The outdoor area was nice, shower was fine, and bed was pretty good!

Fine hostel as the people there are social and all come for diving. The pool is nice, but the rest might need some love or updating. Chairs at the pool are for example all broken. Host seems nice but also intimidating and like you don’t want to upset her. Felt like a kid that could do or say something wrong and had to watch out. Some conversations didn’t make me feel so nice. Again, fine hostel if you are into diving.

O hostel é bom, porém sua localização não é muito boa, um pouco longe do centrinho, mas é possível ir andando. O dormitório estava super limpo e todas as outras estruturas também. A senhora que gerencia o local às vezes não possui muita paciência e te trata de uma forma indevida, porém, te envia PDFs com dicas do que fazer na ilha, nessa questão a informação é muito válida. Possui algumas áreas de interação. Não usei a piscina mas a água parecia estar bem cuidada e tratad...

Good value for money. Only issue was the the power went out during the night, and there was no way to cool down the room. It took a very long time for the power to come back (longer than for the power to return to the other places on the island). Facilities were good though, and we also had room service making up our room and emptying the trash.

The facilities are a bit outdated but still functional. The pool is really large and pleasant. The owner's welcome can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but is ultimately very friendly and kind.

Small, intimate hostel (maybe 3 dorm rooms?) where everyone gets to know each other. A few streets behind the main area which was a good thing as the restaurants are more local and there’s less cruise boat crowds. Kathy, the owner, was lovely and gives you plenty of recommendations in the form of pdfs

Really cute, awesome staff and owner, cute cats, could use a litte love for the aesthetic ;) Would always come back there

This is my third visit to Amigos Hostel. It's a great place to visit on all issues. It's in a very attractive large yard, in a good part of the town, and everything is laid out in a mindful way. If you just want to lay around in a relax or read a book...it's perfect. If you want to wander around outside, it's in a good location. There are stores, restaurants, pandarias nearby, and many other types of stores. And three nice cats. When I go back to Cozumel, this is where I'll stay.

Fantastic oasis of a hostel. Kathy was incredibly knowledgeable about everything around and kept a very clean and beautiful place to stay.

This place is everything you need in Cozumel: nice welcome, showers, rooms and common spaces. We slept in the dorm and the night was really good. Also the quality/price is perfect. I would 100% recommend here 🪅

Amigos Hostel is a bit of a walk to the sea and the main drag of Cozumel, Maybe 10 or 15 minutes. but nothing a healthy hosteler can't manage. The owner, Kathy, an American/Mexican, is a fount of local knowledge, and is an advocate for the reefs, animal welfare, and the people of Cozumel. It s mostly dorms. But, other than some snores, it's a quiet, relaxing place with a clean pool, walled off from the bustle, horns, sound of cars and motorcycles. The kitchen is large. has a fridge..

It is an excellent hub to meet interesting people from all around the world. Backpackers, divers, surfers etc. The host is resourceful and caring.

First time in Cozumel? Stay at amigos! The garden and pool are great. The common area has everything you need to cook, chat with fellow roommates and much more. The host, Cathy, is very friendly and will assist you in every way possibly. Proximity is great, with the main downtown accessible within 10-15minute walk. Only gripe was the washroom smelled like sewage at times, the kitchen and common area would use a good clean. I stayed for 7 nights. 9.1/10

Kathy was a fabulous host with plenty of tips and info to share. The hostel is open and spacious. The shower in the dorm room was a bit smelly but overall a great stay.

Nos alojamos en la habitación privada para 3 personas. Muy prolija, limpia y cómoda, tuvimos aire acondicionado y ventilador, heladera, microondas, anafe, smart TV y fregadero. El servicio de limpieza es excelente. Utilizamos la piscina todos los días. Muy limpia y la vegetación del patio es un mil. Una burbuja en el calor de Cozumel, hay nacimiento de tortugas, visitas de aves. La ubicación es muy cómoda. A media cuadra de la av 30 de restaurantes y supermercados, pasan los taxis.Volve...
