+ The price is good, position good
- I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this was not a positive stay. At check-in there was a woman who knew little or nothing and spent all her time watching her TV series. She also slept in the dormitory and kept watching her shows, and wanted to keep the air conditioning on in the room. I asked if they could refund the second night, even partially, and she said no. I tried to contact the property, but they never replied. The hostel was almost empty.

- Cuando llegue no había nadie para atenderme el hostal cerrado con candados llamé y contestaron solo para decir que no había nadie para abrir. Me vi en la necesidad de buscar otro hotel a casi media noche con mucha lluvia y con mi familia. Si no tiene capacidad de atención al cliente debe cerrar.
- The one staff member was very rude and sexist towards our all female group compared to our friends. The bathrooms weren’t kept clean and the toilets often blocked. The showers also constantly overflowing and had no lights
+ Grote buitenruimte, leuke andere reizigers ontmoet, tv met netflix, locatie is goed tov markt en centrum, wordt regelmatig schoon gemaakt. Mogelijk vanuit de beste bedoelingen wordt aangeboden om van alles te regelen en organiseren, maar mogelijk worden de eigen organisatie vaardigheden overschat.
- Boek NIET een activiteit óf vervoer via dit hostel. Enkel om te slapen is het oké tov de goedkope prijs. Tot twee keer toe hebben we klaar gestaan voor de ATM cave en bleek er iets mis te zijn gegaan vanuit het hostel. Erg teleurstellend, steeds een andere onduidelijke reden werd aangedragen door de medewerker (de guide zou ziek zijn, we stonden niet op de lijst, we stonden wel op de lijst maar ze waren ons vergeten, etc, etc). Het werd niet erg nauw genomen met de waarheid. De shuttle (ook geboekt via het hostel) naar Flores was ook een raar verhaal, uiteindelijk was de schoonvader van de medewerker onze "taxi". Opnieuw een onduidelijke reden (de taxi chauffeur zou ziek zijn, dit was de enige oplossing...). De communicatie verliep erg onprettig, waardoor ons verblijf ook niet meer fijn was. Er is geen excuus aangeboden vanuit de medewerker, alleen maar nieuwe smoesjes en ontkenningen aangedragen (we zouden nooit via hem hebben geboekt, we vonden het te duur en daarom heeft hij het gelaten). Zeer vaag allemaal. Na contact met de eigenaar zijn twee overnachtingen gecompenseerd, een oké gebaar, maar we willen alsnog hier een waarschuwing achterlaten. Wij zijn vertrokken zonder de ATM cave te hebben gezien en met een nare nasmaak rondom de hele ervaring. Na vele reizen nog nooit een negatieve review achtergelaten, maar nu toch gekozen om dit wel te doen: Boek je activiteiten van te voren en vooral niet via dit hostel.
+ Affordable. Central location. The owner was kind and hardworking.
- Mattress springs were so hard they left bruises on my legs. Our dorm smelt quite badly of damp. The kitchen was dirty and had cockroaches on the counter. The older female staff member wasn’t very friendly or helpful when we were there. Didn’t refill the drinking water for a few days and had no toilet paper in the women’s bathroom for a day. Very strange “dentist waiting room” common area. Overall not very comfortable and the vibe was weird.
+ Each bunker bed has a curtain so you have some privacy.
- 1. The receptionist charges over 16% additionally for credit card. The original bill shall be 30, and she said she needs to charge additionally for credit card use, but I did not expect she would charge 35 in total. When I found out and asked for clarification, she just pretended she does not know the math. 2. No hot water in shower and bathroom is dirty and mouldy.
Pretty bare and stark, as the pictures look. It was a great location and not bad value, but I found the atmosphere very strange and the girl that worked there spoke so quietly I could barely understand her. There’s a kitchen which isn’t very clean. The A/C is only on between 7pm-7am and anyone can change it, so my first night someone put it up to 28 degrees & it was boiling!

- -sehr einfach -sehr dunkle Zimmer -schlecht zu finden und schlecht zu erreichen um nach der genauen Adresse zu fragen -keine Ansprechpartner vor Ort für Hilfe bei Tourenplanung und co

+ Beliggenheden var god. Badene og toiletterne var gode og rene. Fedt med hængekøjer.
- Indelukket. Larmende på dorms, man kan høre alt ude fra gangen. Dårlige senge på dorms. Altid mangel på drikkevand. Ikke så hyggelig stemning indenfor, ligner lidt et hospital.

+ Javier and Amy were an absolute delight, so friendly and helpful. The place was quiet, spotless, and in a perfect location close to town.

No joke about the beds! Epic springs poking you relentlessly. Hostel could use some work like shared fridge not cooling, trash cans full, etc. It was good & cheap for a short stay. There was confusion about my booking - I stayed 3 not 4 days (I had to rebook due to a mistake prior to my arrival so I guess there was an old reservation they had confused) and the desk staff tried to get me to pay for an extra day - said the young woman would have it taken out of her pay due to the error which conce...
As other reviews have noted the beds are very "SPRINGY" - springs poking you- stayed only 3 nights so not too bad. Curtains were on PVC which kept falling down. AC was put on in the evenings, only sheets provided so pretty chilly for this Florida girl. Big fridge (common room) didn't cool (had to use freezer) mini fridge in kitchen was it. Trash cans were full when I checked in. whatever. Bathroom Ok - some drain not so good. Hotwater. Overall, good for a short stay. Get what you pay for.

- the kitchen was a horror movie: very dirty and as soon as I've opened a drower, a huge cockroach came out.
+ La ubicación y el precio fueron muy prácticos, y la atención de la encargada muy amable, nos ayudó con ubicarnos en camas de abajo como lo habíamos solicitado en la reservación. Y las instalaciones y los servicios (Internet-refrigerador-baños, terraza al aire libre) excelentes.
+ Ein ganz okay Hostel. Ich finde es hat nicht sehr viel Herzblut. Badezimmer sind okay. Es gibt innen und außen einen recht lieblosen Aufenthaltsbereich. Es gibt vorhänge am Bett und AC. Auch zum Zentrum ist es nicht weit - wobei das glaube ich in San Ignacio nirgends weit ist.
- Betten fand Ich schrecklich. Man spürt die Federn, Die Vorhangstangen sind locker und wackelt das ganze bett wenn man sich bewegt. Auch sind die Metallstangen total laut.

Good facilities but the beds are bad. top bunk is so loud, steps uncomfortable, and nothing to stop your things falling down the side to the bunk below you
+ Good location - 5 mns walk from the city center - the staff is amazing and very helpful

+ 1. Affordable price. 2. Spacious public area. 3. Many shops and travel agencies along the street. 4. Plenty of space under the bed for luggage. 5. I'm very grateful they let me in to put my luggage first. 6. There is a place to dry clothes.
- 1. Very dark after turning off the lights; a small lamp might be better. 2. Water cools down very quickly, making it difficult to adjust the temperature.

- - Embora a recepcionista tenha gentilmente conseguido um cadeado de improviso após minha solicitação, o hostel poderia disponibiliza-los de forma sistemática, uma vez que além da cama, o armário é o único cômodo de qualquer hostel que providencia alguma privacidade.
+ Comfy beds, sockets and large locker for rucksack. Javier was very friendly and welcoming if not abit rushed off his feet.

+ Muy buena ubicación, en pleno centro de San Ignacio, a un par de cuadras de la terminal de buses, restaurantes y supermercados. Es un hostel tranquilo, con cortinas en las camas de las habitaciones compartidas, lo que da mayor privacidad. La cocina, aunque pequeña, está muy bien equipada. Por ultimo, un agradecimiento y un saludo especial a Amy por su excelente atención y disposición para ayudar en todo momento.
