Greg & Tom Hostel

Insane heat, doesn’t turn off, this old guy who lives there talks all night long in the lobby AND IN THE ROOMS. Location impossible to find.

The best thing that I could say is that there are probably worse hostels out there. There are 2 good things about this place: -Free Food (although you have to show up early or there might be none left) -Location (very central) Negatives: -1 shower for the entire floor and it was disgusting -sleeping on a top bunk is hell. The stairs to get up are super uncomfortable -No towels and you have to make the bed yourself -You’re expected to wash the dishes you use in the kitchen…wtf?

- bed had a stain - Both towels had stains on - breakfast was not very good - location was great - food in the evening was tasty but there was no atmosphere

This is not a hostel more a collection of random apartments in an apartment block where all the rooms have been converted into dorm rooms. There's only one toilet and shower for 14+ people in the apartment (unless you want to go two floors down) and the hot water broke in our apartment on multiple occasions. The mattresses are awful, they are foam and completely worn out so you sleep in a dent in the middle. No lift & lots of stairs. The breakfast and dinner were mediocre at best - avoid!!

Terrible Staff Management, in handling problems with rooms, cleanliness, stays, etc! They don't care for their guests in the slightest! Very un-enthused and lazy about any issues they face. Unsympathetic. Honestly a real lack of any problem solving skills, professionalism and interpersonal skills. It's pretty sad really. Don't bother with this hostel, if you want a proper respectful stay, and ease of dealing with staff.

+ clean + location - too old. bed was over and half broken. The shower needs to be renewed - poor breakfast. At 9.30 they almost did have nothing to eat. - I had a discussion with a staff member and I was forced to pay late check out

I’ve stayed in over 300+ hostels all over the world and this one has the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. It’s really a disgrace because most everything else in the hostel is great, location etc. Also weirdly if you want to extend the staff won’t match the price on Hostelworld or other sites. Which is really confusing considered they would make more money.

This hostel is the worst hostel I have ever been to, I immediately left, checked out within 2 hours and booked a hotel!! As soon as I got into the room I burst into tears. I have never felt so unsafe and been in a hostel so disgustingly dirty. I booked the hotel next door to stay at instead of this dump and he said he gets quite a lot of people coming from this Greg and Tom hostel to book a hotel because they are horrified at the state of it and don’t want to stay there.

Despite the less central location of the other hostel from this company this one was even nicer. Less facilities perhaps but the sleeping conditions were even better, and the storage situation was perfect. Friendly staff and decent breakfast

Best place to stay for your trip to Krakow. Has a great mix of social atmosphere while not being overly party centric. The staff were also super great. I found Tori to be not only very helpful and kind to guests but also an overall great person to talk with and bring a group of strangers together!

This is one of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in terms of vibe and value of your money, and I have to say I’ve been to a lot of hostels while doing solo traveling. The vibe was unmatched. The entire staff was great, but a special shoutout goes to Tori! She was incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and fun. She has a real talent for connecting people with similar interests or backgrounds, which made it so easy to make new friends and have a great time.

The best hostel I've been to in Europe! I find European hostels are hard to meet people at but the free meals make it very social. Great location between the train station and old town and the hostel has a cool layout with the different apartments. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I would've stayed longer if I didn't already have my next train booked.

Absolutely loved this hostel and would definitely recommend! Breakfasts and dinners together gave us plenty of chances to connect with other travellers. Tori had great energy and it made the hostel more inclusive.

The breakfast and dinner was something really to look forward to. Even the ambience in the hostel was nice. Only low point, no elevators to get the luggage

Amei tudo!!! O café da manhã era incrível, a janta era melhor ainda. A localização era ótima, o pessoal da recepção foi muito tranquilo, não tive nenhum tipo de problema. Estava tudo bem limpo. A minha única sugestão seria colocar algum lugar para apoiar shampoo e condicionador dentro do box, e também algum lugar para apoiar a roupa. Amei tudo demais, recomendaria super!

It might not be the best hostel you ever stayed in but it definitely has its own aura. Lovely staff, nice breakfast with no extra cost. I can’t comment on the dinner as I haven’t tried it but hey you are free to try it.

The hostel is basically a building divided into flats and each flat has some rooms which are the dorms. The consequence is to not offer a very big common area or a social space to meet people. The beds seem very old, not comfortable and are very noisy, when somebody climbs up to top bed seems like an earthquake. The shower of my floor didn’t have hot water and the sink was often getting clogged. Mention for the free breakfast and dinner and the position. Cheap price, you get what you pay.
