Bahay Isla Inn - Hostel Puerto Galera

Great hostel and a lovely family. Would definitely recommend staying here. Only issue was our AC wasn’t very cold so was quite hot in our room at night.

I can’t thank Nanette and Kim enough for hosting me. I was the only guest but they made me feel so at home, I felt as if I was staying with my newfound Filipino grandparents not a hostel guest. They went above and beyond, giving great tips about other places to explore on the island, taking me out to dinner with their friends, and even 4WD me down the coast to my next destination. Thank you both so much, the highlight of my trip yo the Philippines, love Ash

This hostel was so good. The owner was the nicest person in the world and another staff member was working there at the same time as I stayed and she was amazing aswell. The nicest people in the world had a great time talking to them all day. I was treat well and really well looked after it was such an amazing place. Honestly they made my trip. I had a really bad morning and I arrived it it just improved it so much. No complaints about anything. I will 100% return when I come back to Philippines

Cheap, nice and the owners are the most wonderful people ever. Cute dogs around, and the breakfast is so good, make sure you eat the famous toast!
