I got bedbugs here. The owner tried to blame it on me, saying that I got them in my previous stop in Japan (I had stayed with a friend in a private residence - I didn't get them there). Then they sprayed me with disinfectant while screaming at me while I tried to pack up my capsule. They were rude, entitled, delusional, didn't give me a full refund, and tried to double charge me until I came back and yelled at them about it. Oh, and the owner admitted they regularly get bedbugs. AVOID AVOID AVOI

My coat got stolen and the staff did nothing to help

Scammed with money and overcharged for one night a massive amount - they then refused to give me the money back. Don’t stay here.

There was one staff member I interacted with often who was so dang rude every time I talked to him. He also explained nothing about how Korean showers work and ridiculed me when I asked about the lighting situation and for help setting up my eSim. The showers are gross and fly-ridden, as was my room. The sheets were stained with something right near my head and the one blanket I received barely covered my feet. The stairs are old and dangerously steep. I guess the lobby vibe is fun though lol

This was truly one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed at, and I am honestly confused by the good reviews. The pictures of this hostel do not display it accurately at all. The entire hostel smells like sewage. The woman’s and men’s side of the bathroom are only separated by a thin, dirty curtain, so there is absolutely no privacy. Wouldn't stay here again. Property is actually located on this dark side street/alley and it felt really unsafe to walk at night. The train station was also about a 10 minute walk so it made going out at night alone feel unsafe. The cleanliness is also a problem. The hostel has a weird smell throughout the entire building and the women's only toilet always smelled. A nice social hostel but definitely a party hostel which means you compromise a bit on cleanliness..

Hostel check in was 3pm online but 4pm when I arrived. No one at reception to communicate this. No safe storage for luggage, luggage is just placed in the middle of the room. Laundry was given to me half wet half dry. Hostel wasn’t clean, the cleaners only change the bedsheets, they don’t do a deep clean of the bunk. If you are looking for a party hostel, this is the right place. Unfortunately for us we didn’t like it. It had a strong smell, doors were hard to close and overall it wasn’t really clean. The room was also really cold. I can imagine if you are a student travelling wanting to meet people and go to parties, this is a good spot. We left after one night and unfortunately did not get a refund for the other nights.

I had a fantastic time there, staff were very helpful, and the atmosphere was great.

I spent one night there before I realised that I didn't want to stay there and move to a different place. The staff didn't deliver a bad service...I just didn't feel comfortable with the place. Cleanliness and the poor WiFi were the straws that broke the camel's back

The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. Sleeping pods had lots of privacy and useful things like sockets, a lockable cupboard and shelf. I did have to walk over the outside balcony to get the the showers from my room. It could do with more maintenance and decoration. There was no divide between the cleaning shelves and the rest of the bar. Social atmosphere was good most of the time although due to its small size, some nights there was no atmosphere. Live music was great! Good time!

The door to my room didn’t lock, place is like a construction site that hasn’t been finished yet. There was a gap in the wall adjoining the next private room so I could hear their conversations. Bit of a dead atmosphere.

Erg fijn hostel voor de prijs. Kamers zijn schoon maar wel erg warm. Kluisjes zijn aanwezig wat ook fijn is. Het hostel werkt niet met keycards of sleutels maar met een code. In principe kan iedereen dus gewoon zo naar binnen lopen dat is wel een minpunt voor mij. De locatie was echter top, rustige plek maar wel op loopafstand van het drukke feestgebied.

This hostel is in a good location, close to a few metro stations. There was also a cash discount for my stay. The owner is friendly, and you can see that he is passionate about his hostel. There are also events multiple times a week, and it was pretty social. The pods were also nice, to the metal was a bit weird. One thing to note, there was weirdly a lot of signs throughout the hostel stating various advisories and rules, which gave off a weird vibe.

Loved everything about the hostel. The bed area in the dorm is literally your own little room, so comfy! Staff is super friendly and try to stay here on a Friday so you can enjoy the band :) also, met some amazing people and partied so hard, it was lovely. Super social

Brilliant location with a short walk back after a heavy night in Hongdae. Right next to plenty of corner shops, good local Korean food and a McDonalds if you need a quick and reliable bite. Staff had great english and were helpful, karaoke was great fun, beds and rooms are clean and comfortable although inside them looks like a shipping container (lol). Incredibly cheap beer on draught too, highly recommend!

It was not always really clean and when I wanted to go down the stairs, the handrail was slightly detached from the wall, which can be dangerous. Apart from that the staff was really nice and the hostel really well located.

Rooms are nice enough with space for bags and a secure lock on the door. Common room is the bar but while we were there it seemed to be either dead or people sat alone not talking. Bathrooms and showers are on the bottom floor so not super convenient but overall an okay hostel.

No kitchen, but that's just to nitpick. I loved the place, such a vibe and nice people !

The rooms could have used a sweep or vacuum, the floor was obviously dirty when we got there. Photos shown are not accurate for the room we stayed in. Location was great, felt secure enough once we got on our floor. Staff was helpful when they were present, though some information on this website and in their emails needs updating. Phone number isnt accurate and check in time is 4:00pm not 3:00pm

By far one of the funnest hostels I've stayed in. Kenneth is a fantastic host and whenever he's there, it's always a treat. The dorm room cubbies are also really well setup with lots of room for storage, a small cubby for storing thing securely. Small downsides are the gendered bathrooms are on separate floors, the private rooms don't have mirrors, and the free beer you get at check in doesn't work for events or until after 9 which is weird. Otherwise, a fantastic experience. Thanks Kenneth!
