Seaside Women's Hostel by ALOH

I liked the idea of a women's only hostel. Though for the price and what you get I much rather would have paid a little more to get a decent hotel room. The bathrooms were subpar. There were no towel hooks and they were minimally clean. There was one bathroom and one shower for a room of 8 bunk beds. The rooms were hot with minimal airflow. If you are charging that much for one bunk bed, I'd atleast expect a cheap AC unit, especially when the room is filled with multiple people.

Georgia was very nice and accommodating. The rest of the stay wasn’t very good. We got a private room with shared bathroom but when we got there we were surprised to find that access to the private room was through the dorm, not very private at all. No AC either and no cross breeze in the “private room” the folks who had the dorms were better off and paying less. Dirty bathrooms. Cleaning lady came in room everyday and left door open when she left, what’s the point of a private room...

Personal super rude. Dirty, facilities bad. I stayed at several hostels in Honolulu, there are so many better options.

Creaky bunks, very hot with no AC, not enough outlets or lockers, poor communication about social events.

This hostel is really noisy! They have lots of rules but they only apply to certain guests. This isn't a party hostel but it's LOUD! They do not clean under the beds! The AC was not working in our room, instead, they put a loud industrial fan in our room. They allow guests to sit in the courtyard making noise all hours of the night.! The Guy at night allows the MEN to do whatever they want. You all can guess why.! Lots of homelessness but near the beach. It's close to the bus stop!

bad experience, lights on all the time, no curtains, also not respected the hours of silence

Horrible rooms, internet is bad and the bunk bed makes noises even if you make a small movement which didn't let us sleep properly. I would give it a 0 if i could. The only good thing is the location

1) All Private Rooms Should Have @ Least Hangers & One Portable, Folding Table that Levels Off The Ground & Sturdy Enough for Guests to Place Larger Luggage, in order for them to Organize Their Clothes & Other Belongings. This hostel did NOT have any of these specific basics considering that the owners wanted guests to spend $100 or more a night for a private room. 2) If the hostel owners & staff are going to have larger pets around (like a dog), then it is only fair to put them on a leash.

El hostel estaba en condiciones deplorables sucio mal olor el desayuno que supuestamente señalaban nunca lo vi solo café para el acceso a la playa había que saltar un muro de más de un metro y la playa no era linda arena oscura y agua marron

I had the most amazing stay at seaside! The staff, facilities and location are amazing and I will definitely be back! If you’re travelling as a group of girls or solo this place is highly recommended! You will love it

Staff was great and overall vibes was amazing. So many amazing girls to befriend. Close walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. However there was mold in the showers due to lack of ventilation and excess moisture. The rooms got a little hot and stuffy at night and the bunk beds felt a little unstable. By night 2 my throat began to burn and nose got congested. Would be a 10/10 stay if it wasnt for the mold.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The staff was very friendly and kind. Very clean space. I would 💯 recommend. The other guests where kind as well. Everyone was very welcoming. Thank you for a beautiful stay 🥰🌹

Great hostel! Everyone was so friendly. You can also hire surf boards for free for 90 minutes from the sister hostel. Perfect location, right in the heart of Waikiki!

I loved staying here. The staff were friendly and very, very helpful. Being new to the area every question was answered. The community kitchen has everything you need to cook your own food. There’s a 2 minute walk to a lovely park if you need some green time, being from rural country, far south coast of Sydney this was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Really friendly staff and super easy to make friends! I also liked the courtyard area. It’s as clean as expected for what you pay for.

Cozy hostel with super friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. They offer free coffee, as well as beach towels and equipment you can borrow at no extra cost, which is a great bonus. The courtyard with hammocks is a lovely place to relax. The beach and shopping options are also within easy walking distance. The only downside is that the beds don’t have curtains or individual lamps, so there is a bit less privacy. Overall, a nice and comfortable place to stay.

This was such a great experience, the staff and volunteers are so kind towards the guests. They understand your issues and are there to help in any situation.

Room for six, but shared with another room,so one small bathroom for eight people. There’s no space to sit and do your makeup or even put in your contact lenses. When you sleep, there’s no bedside shelf for your things like glasses or your phone,you have to keep everything in bed with you. The beds are very cheap, and there’s no privacy at all. Even for a hostel with a “roots” vibe, the price is very high

The location, vibe, and people at this hostel all exceeded my expectations by far!! It was my first ever solo trip, and i felt incredibly safe and supported through any questions or concerns I may have had. I truly hope to be back soon.

a really nice hostel but, the showercurtain was moldy so it’s unfortunate that we as customers have to ask to change it instead of the crew seeing it and doing it themselfs. also the floor in my room was sticky, so maybe include that in cleaning. all the rest was perfect!

Very special place. The best for the minimalist. I was sadly disappointed that there is no recycling.

What an amazing place. I had the absolute best week of my life during my time in Hawaii and it was mostly due to all the amazing girls I met through this hostel. Georgia and Monik are angels and were so helpful and so nice to chat with. Near the beach and offers discounted tours, I did the north shore tour and I cant recommend it enough. Added bonus having access to the sister hostels to meet even more people. I am already planning my next trip back. Thanks for everything ladies!!

This was my favorite stay at hostel ever! This was my first time traveling alone and this was the best place to stay. I felt super safe here and the environment was so nice. I would definitely stay here again. It was in a great location by everything and not to far of a walk to the beach.

Highly Recommend! Best All-Female Hostel in Honolulu. I stayed at ALOH for 8 nights and loved the vibe. It’s perfect for anyone seeking an authentic Honolulu lifestyle. My roommates were very respectful and self-disciplined. The location is unbeatable: 2 mins walk to the bus stop. 10 mins walk to Waikiki Beach & International Market Place. I enjoyed the cool breeze in the courtyard and chatting with fellow travelers. The kitchen is a huge plus—I saved so much money on breakfast!

Great location. I feel safe here. dorms & bathrooms are cleaned every day. No shoes/food allowed in dorms. No ac but sufficient fans. So much potential if they cleaned up the court yard area. The furniture/couches are always dirty & uncomfortable. Roaches in kitchen drawers. I saw them many times crawling around the kitchen/courtyard floor. Chairs,umbrellas, snorkeling gear, floaties can be borrowed but I opened a chair & roaches came out! Better maintenance & this place would be spectacular

I love everything about this Hostel. The staff is super sweet and informative. The location is extremely accessible to the bus stops, the facilities are clean and the coffee was 👌🏽 so good.

Loved the all women hostel! I felt safe and everyone was focused on themselves while still being friendly. The best part of my stay was the ALOH events which included all the nearby hostels and made it easy to meet people. The amenities weren't the newest and the front gate had a temporary closing issue, but otherwise great!
