Seaesta Komodo Hotel & Hostel

Really disappointed in my stay here after reading such great reviews. The main issue was the staff. Upon arrival they somehow forgot to charge me for my stay. I had a 5am wake up for my Komodo tour. Around 10pm as I was sleeping a lady from reception came into my room, turned on the lights, waking everyone in the room up to make me pay. Why couldn’t this be done the next day? The cleaners woke me up every morning SINGING? Around 9/10 am. They also had music playing until late in the evening.

It's fine, as long as you're not looking for a typical hostel atmosphere. This is more of a budget hotel for local holidaymakers. If you're looking for something social then look elsewhere.

Leider bleibt es bis spätabends sehr laut in den Dorms, da auf der Dachterrasse abends Livemusik gespielt wird. Wenn man am nächsten Tag einen Flug/Ausflug gebucht hat, muss man durchhalten, Ohrstöpsel helfen nicht. Die Terrasse samt Pool und Restaurant/Bar ist eigentlich recht nett gestaltet, allerdings für Alleinreisende nicht geeignet. Hier kommen vor allem Gäste von außerhalb zum Feiern zusammen. Dafür war das Dorm und die Duschen sauber und das Personal großteils freundlich.

Irritating LOUD aircon box in dorm which is clearly dirty/broken and needs servicing. Spent the 2 nights wide awake staring at the ceiling could not sleep even with earplugs in it would not drown out the noise. I wouldn’t stay here again personally because of it even with the nice facilities.

This place gets great reviews but personally I would have rather stayed at a quieter hostel and come here for the pool & rooftop bar (anyone can come in and swim or buy drinks and food). Facilities were nice but expect to have loud music playing until late most nights. The private rooms are overpriced but clean, dorms were ok but not nice enough to justify the price.

Had heard great things about Seaesta- maybe if I had done the Lombok to Flores Komodo tour I would feel differently but I was pretty disappointed with everything. I tried to WhatsApp contact them via the number provided on the website but had no reply, to try and get help booking a Komodo tour. I emailed them the next evening and their email went to my spam, yet this whole time they didn’t open my WhatsApp. I think their number has changed but this is up to them to update on the website. internet or recoetion wasn’t available the showers were great it was a nice hostel but for the price i didn’t think it was with it

More hotel than hostel. Not easy to meet people as a solo traveller. My 8 person hostel dorm had a family of 6 in it. Wished there were events on for solo travellers to meet up. Would stay here if I was travelling with people.

Staff were very rude and stand offish, did not feel welcome as backpackers. It is a shame as the actual hostel were really lovely just need better customer service skills.

Was goed alleen personeel was niet vriendelijk, inflexibel en ongeduldig. Vooral bij de receptie.

This is an incredible hostel. The rooftop bar and pool is the perfect place to hangout and the whole vibe of the place is amazing! Wish I could spend forever at Seaesta!!

Definitely a very social hostel. Live music every night until 11pm and can be heard through the hostel rooms and ear plugs. The dorms and facilities were very clean, and the beds are made everyday which is a nice touch. The rooftop and pool is great for sunset, and the food is great and very affordable. Loved using the gym as well.

Great hostel. The rooftop bar/restaurant/ pool is the big selling point. Perfect to watch the sunset. The rooms are great- whoever designed them knows what people who stay in hostels want. Food is good too and A/C gym was great. Only downside is it's not the most social but I still made friends

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Extremely friendly staff. Outside noise is well insulated in the rooms. The pool and rooftop terrace are brilliant, the food is delicious and so are the drinks. Unless you’re not that keen on the social aspect, this is a 10/10 hostel.

laundry lost a few of my things but they found my bikini top and send it back to me 🫶🏼

Really nice Place to be, modern Bunks, good food, clean Bathrooms. Staff did so well, they are so friendly and social. But not the best choice for solo backpacker, no social Atmosphere. More like Place for Groups and Familys. The Food is fantastic, cost a little bit more, but absolutly worth it.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in - the facilities are hotel standard and kept super clean. The restaurant serves great food and drinks (big portions) and the evening live music is excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Only thing was WiFi was really bad !

Increíble lugar, el ambiente es muy ameno, divertido, relajado. Tanto para viajeros solos, jóvenes, y hasta familias. Hay música todos los días, DJs y en vivo, pero no es bullicioso. Las camas muy cómodas, todo muy limpio. La comida del restó es un 10.

This hostel has everythinh you wish in a hostel. It is clean, has activity’s, is social and has good food/drinks.

Prijs, kwaliteit is prima, schoon/netjes personeel erg helpfull , muziek in de avond, bands en desk DJ, soms tot laat beetje luid +/- 22:30 in de kamer maar altijd gezellige realaxe sfeer.

Fijn hostel met zwembad en goed restaurant. Er is ook bijna elke avond wat te doen. Waar je wel rekening mee moet houden is dat het ook een hotel is, er zijn dus ook af en toe kinderen in het zwembad en families. Zelf vond ik dat niet erg! Zeker een aanrader

I’ve been to many hostels, but tip sea turtle is on of the best i’ve ever been. The staf is great, especially Lucie! She made my stay so much better!

this was one of the snazziest hostels i’ve ever stayed at. while the food on the rooftop wasn’t the cheapest, it was such a vibe up there. the rooms were quite large & comfy. felt like a luxury stay !

Fantastic property, more like a hotel. Views and pool were insane and rooms were lovely
