Hostel 7 Santi

I would give this place a miss, particularly as a solo female traveller. The hostel firstly is in a suburban area, on the outer part of the city, meaning it was a lot further to attractions. The hostels location is also very quiet at night therefore was not safe / walkable and finding a taxi is difficult, meaning I had to stay in most nights. The atmosphere was very quiet / not at all social hostel. The photos are misleading as only parts of the hostel is renovated. Staff were good, very clean.

Pulizia pessima degli spazi ovviamente tutti comuni, realtà delle stanze contrarie a quello che si vede sul sito quando si sta prenotando. rapporto qualità prezzo non giusto perché della qualità non si vedeva neanche l’ombra e per essere un ostello, aver preso una camerata mista con bagni in comune, non è così conveniente viste le condizioni generali. Posizione ottima se si deve essere vicino al Nelson Mandela Forum, 7 min a piedi.

The pictures are not at all wheat you are getting, and the place is so far out of the way in the city it is so inconvenient. I’m not really sure how there are good reviews for this place at all, they catfish you with nice rooms then when you get there you realize your going to spend your time at a very below average unclean hostel. They advertise that it is 15 minutes with public transportation to get to the city center, except the busses that are scheduled never actually come.

Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms weren’t clean at all (there was even a dead bug in the room) and smelly, breakfast was not good quality, bathrooms were very narrow, no activities at all, don’t reccomend it to anyone. Also I noticed that they don’t even try to improve themselves by looking at bad reviews but simply just deny them.

Dirty and stinky room.. never has been cleaned during my stay. Bed not comfortable and wasn’t clean. Roommates were not traveler, it was very bad experience in total. I don’t recommend this place.

Pésimo servicio. No te entregan la habitación mostrada en la foto. Nos dieron un baño ROTO y negaban que fuera así, cuando su propio personal lo confirmó. La persona encargada de la administración fue súper mala onda, irrespetuoso y malcriado.

Ostello non molto vicino al centro. La pulizia è davvero scarsa: la mattina seguente ho trovato delle feci in una delle docce maschili. Un’esperienza orribile.

our beds did not have individual outlets or personal lights, the front desk people had many issues making our keys work and the beds feel so flimsy

Lucked out and got a room in the renovated area so honestly my stay was awesome. Location is far from the center which I did not mind at first but buses are never on time or will not show up at times so I ended up walking back nearly an hour each day. That’s on me though. Lovely staff! Laundry was 5 euro per wash and dry, wish it was cheaper but aside from that no issues to note.

Un hostal súper recomendado, el personal está dispuesto a ayudarte en todo y son muy amables. Las estancias son muy agradables, tanto dentro como fuera. Yo estuve en una habitación femenina de 6 camas y es espaciosa, tienes espacio de sobra para guardar tus pertenencias y las camas están muy bien distribuidas y equipadas. El baño muy limpio. Muchas gracias por la atención!

Easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 6 bed room, and everything was super clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The common areas look luxurious and it was great to meet others there. Breakfast is €10 and was wonderful, maybe would have like to see fruits and more protein though. Overall wonderful stay, thank you Hostel 7 Santi!

No where to cook and no sinage making you aware breakfast needs to be paid for or sinage that you need to leave at 10:30 from breakfast room.

Was an okay hostel but the kitchen was quite inadequate. I expected that there was just a kettle and microwave as described but I didn't expect that we need to use plastic plates and cutlery because the sink is not really adapted for washing dishes, and that for certain times in the day you can't even go into the kitchen and use it because they are cleaning after the breakfast buffet (which looked good but it's a little pricey at 10 euros).

Fiquei no dormitório feminino de 10 pessoas e gostei muito. camas confortáveis, casa de banho sempre limpa e fechadura na porta.

Vibe is so dead here, literally had the worst roommates for all 3 nights 😭 the movie night would have been cool if they actually did it properly. they don’t let you use the common area during breakfast either unless you’re paying which was kinda annoying.

This hostel feels like staying in a hotel. It’s got seating area not only downstairs out front but in front of the rooms as well. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Florence!!

Initially, we saw a review about bed bugs and were quite nervous upon our arrival. We asked the front desk staff, and they were able to assure us that there were no bed bugs and that other travelers mistook mosquito bites for bed bug bites. Our room got upgraded for free, and the staff were very nice! While about a 30-40 minute walk from Florence city center, the location was quiet and peaceful compared to being located right within the city center. There is a bus stop right outside the hostel...

It got the job done. It's in what seems to be a residential neighborhood about half an hour walk from the city center. It's a very pretty building but not particularly welcoming - it used to be a convent and has that kind of austere look to it. Conversely, there will be a party outside your window that goes on till 5am on a Wednesday. My key card failed twice despite being kept separate from any phones or magnets but they were helpful about getting a new one set up.

Es un lugar muy agradable, tiene espacios comunes y de trabajo muy bonitos con mi amiga. Estuvimos dos noches en una habitación femenina compartida y el baño estuvo muy limpio igual que las habitaciones y los lugares para dejar las maletas. Queda un poco alejado del centro pero la zona es segura y agradable

War ein gutes Hostel, ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt und es war sehr sauber. Jedoch gab es keine richtige Küche, was aber auch daran lag, dass dad Hostel sehr groß ist.

Unfortunately the accommodation isn’t what I hoped it would be. I paid the upgrade for the 6 person female dorm. The common space was nice, but the beds weren’t completely private since they are surrounded by a see through grate. Additionally, the shower was lacking and spilled water all over the entire bathroom which was gross. The nail in the coffin was it had bed bugs. I don’t recommend.

I would recommend this hostel, the room are nice and clean.

The photos are misleading because the hostel has two wings, one of which was recently renovated, and overall the hostel is too expensive for what it offers, but it was still a decent place to stay.

Was ok, far out from the centre. Think me and my friends got bed bugs… I emailed them and nothing has been done.

Ich empfehle aufjedenfall ein Superior Zimmer zu buchen. Die entsprechen den Bildern und sind in gutem Zustand. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr schön. Schade nur, dass es keine Küche gibt (nur Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle)

WARNING: unless you book the superior room, it will look nothing like the pictures. Rickety metal bunk beds with no curtains. If you’re on the bottom bunk you’ll see that the slats holding the top bunk flex significantly every time the person on top moves. The bathrooms also always stunk. Would NOT recommend.
