- El staff fue super grosero, hacen cobros a tu tarjeta sin tu autorización y sin recibir los servicios, negando el reembolso.
+ The room was ok
- I have tried all the Bambuda during my stay in Panama and this one I don’t recommend. The soundproof of the room is close to zero, we could hear everything from the other rooms. The worst part is on the personal: 1) the follow-up on requests is the worst I have been facing across all my travels: we asked 3 times to the receptionist guy to book a transfer to another city to realize the eve (just before sleeping) that nothing had been done. 2) the cleaning person was putting music and talking loud hence we could not rest

- Hygiene, zeer vies, vraag me af of de dorms uberhaupt werden schoon gemaakt
+ Das einzigste was man wirklich festhalten kann, ist, dass das Frühstück wirklich gut gewesen ist und das Personal zumindest freundlich.
- Das Hotel macht falscshe Angaben und das haben viele andere auch so verstanden. Es bschreibt seine Lage am Strand, nein das ist kein Strand, dass ist ein Landschaft aus Felsen und dort kann und sollte man definitiv weder surfen noch baden gehen. Sie haben aber eine Wegweiser "zum Strand" - das ist der Witz. Der Poll wurde in der Zeit wo wir da gewesen sind, gebaut und ist nicht zu benutzen gewesen. Keine Information darüber vorher - Preisnachlass ? Nein - man sprach von einem kostenlosen Frühstück - sorry, hatten wir bezahlt mit der Buchung. Wir sind einen Tag früher abgehauen, da es einfach unerträglich dort gewesen ist. Mit dem Preis entgegenkommen ? NEIN !!!!!!!! Stornieren ja, zum vollen PREIS DER ÜBERNACHTUNGEN.
- Das Personal hat mich nicht informiert, dass es eine Deposit Zahlung gibt. Diese sollte Rückerstattet werden, nach einer Woche habe ich die 50$ immer noch nicht erhalten. Zudem hat das Personal eine eher unangenehme attitude und ich habe mich eher unwohl gefühlt. Ein T-shirt dass ich vergessen habe, ist auch nicht mehr auffindbar, obwohl die Dame an der Rezeption genau wusste, welches T-shirt ich suche und gemeint hat es sei in der Wäsche. Ich habe auch von anderen gehört, dass 80$ geklaut wurden.

- Photos are deceptive. Very small grounds for way too many guests, a 3-story building of rooms felt like barracks. Could not escape the music on property, nowhere to go in hbrir crowded little property. Their 'system' for serving dinner was very broken and you usually waited an hour to eat, even tho they insisted you order before 6pm. No beach, and during lowtide, covered in ugly black rocks, not walkable, no safe entry. Santa Catalina is trying to develop with way too little infrastructure which makes for a catastrophic environment. Save your money for elsewhere, unless you are a young backpacker.
+ Me gustó la atención del personal de recepción y las instalaciones, el lugar. Es lindo!
- Los precios vs la comida. El tiempo de espera del restaurante. La comida dice que incluye Una cosa y viene con otra y nadie verifica que si pediste un plato de salmón con brócoli no venga salmón con arroz y tomate. El tiempo del desayuno fue extenso casi 1h y 30 minutos esperando. El café fue malísimo. Había que rogar por agua. La entrada al lugar es de tierra, tiene huecos enormes y profundos lleno de agua, si vas en un carro sedan vas a sufrir.

+ L’hôtel est magnifique au bord de la mer , l’accès y est d’ailleurs facile ( 2 min à pied ). L’ambiance est très chill Bémol le personnelle du restaurant n’est pas à l’écoute il faut se lever constamment pour commander très peu de choix à la carte mais assiette copieuse . Pas trop de possibilité de manger ailleurs . Centre ville accessible bcp plus difficilement en voiture qu’à pied. Si vous payer quoi que se soit par carte à l’hôtel il faudra payer 5$ de plus à chaque fois. Pas de frigo dans les chambre difficile avec cet chaleur

Komplett Urlaubsfeeling im Bambuda. Relativ weit weg vom Ortskern, aber die Strecke ist zu Fuß auch gut machbar.
Relatively far away from the Ortskern, but the Strecke is also well machbar to the foot.
The Bambuda is more like a Hotel. It has much more privates than dorms. The doors of all dorms were always unlocked and for anybody to just walk in. Nothing happened but I found that strange, especially bc the door had a keycodesystem but no one got a code and the doors wouldn’t lock anyways. The dorms are spacious and clean. But there are just two hooks for everyone which makes hanging towels or bathing suits complicated. The staff of the reception was nice but the restaurant was unfriendly.
die Unterkunft war top und das Personal sehr nett. Im 4er Dorm gibt es allerdings nicht ausschließlich Betten mit Vorgängen sondern auch 2 normale Betten mitten im Raum
In the 4th Dorm there are however not only beds with drawers but also 2 normal beds in the middle of the room

- La comida siempre fue fría, mucho desorden por parte del personal en los pedidos se notaba y algo sin duda que no me gustó es que no nos dieron llaves de la habitación y teníamos la habitación abierta.... Fue muy mal gusto por que pueden entrar al hotel personas no residentes y no estamos tranquilos con las cosas en el hotel
The food was always cold, a lot of clutter by the staff in the orders was noticeable and something I definitely didn't like is that we didn't get room keys and we had the room open....It was very bad taste because non-residents can enter the hotel and we are not calm with things in the hotel
+ La ubicación, la arquitectura, el diseño y el ambiente, que es pet friendly también y pudimos ir con Armonía que le gustó mucho el Hotel también :) si regresariamos a quedarnos más días

- Less of a hostel vibe and a bit more like a hotel, but depends what you’re after. Quite pricey.
+ Excellent situation. Quite vibrant during the day and early evening but quiet at night. Woken by birdsong nothing else. Staff were excellent and always willing to help out, or concoct a cocktail/ mocktail for you in the pool to chill out after diving. Real variety of ages and nationalities staying in a very convivial environment. Watching the sunset brings everyone together. Mike and Felix on the reception were a great team with very good English skills. Good mixture of rooms from dorms to very well appointed king suites- we loved our balcony with hanging chairs to watch the world go by.
- The sound did travel when little people ran up and down the corridor outside the room as all the floors are polished concrete- very practical and cool. We were getting up for diving but if you planned a lie in that might be different.
+ A really luxurious accomodation, even for solo travellers like me.The bunk beds were really comfortable and the common space with the pool and the bar was perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!
- It was a bit far away from the center of the village, like 15-20 minutes by feet, which it was something I was aware of, so not a big deal

- Nothing, everything was superb
+ Le dortoir climatisé avec un espase de rangement près du lit, une lampe, la salle commune lumineuse.
- Presque aucun sourire de la parr du personnel que ce soit pour le check - in ou lors du petit déjeuner. L'impression de déranger quand une a une questiin, des messages automatiques en anglais sur WhatsApp (même si on demande une autre langue).

- Mixed dorms or expensive private rooms only Booked for 6 nights and when I checked in at 6 pm they wanted me to move 3 times in those days... I had booked early January and swear I booked women only dorms, could not find that in March The lady said they never had that. She allowed me to spend one night and cancel as I really don't do mixed dorms anymore after a bad experience elsewhere ( thank you so much for understanding) Hard to find last minute places here in high season. Also this place has beautiful ocean view but no beach I found out the next morning, so daily taxi's or your own car needed Great if you want a fancy trip
