Sunset Catalina

Left after one night loosing All my comission of 13 €, cockroaches in the room, no coms with staff inw english, chewing gum on the shower floor, Wifi not woking, most noisy room, even the Name is fake- nö sunset! The refund took hours - what a disgusting fake place!!! 🤬

Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft. Innerhalb von wenigen Gehminuten ist man direkt am Strand. Es gibt eine Haupttüre die man in der Nacht mit dem Schlüssel aufschliessen kann. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer war eher spätlich. Das Bett quietschte bei jeder Bewegung und es kam praktisch kein Wasser aus der Duschbrüse.

Unable to rate as when we arrived they didn’t have our booking and were fully booked. We had booked the night before and a couple on our all day transfer to Santa Catalina booked that day after asking where we booked. They got checked right in and we were left with nowhere to stay at 6pm. The suggested a place 2km away at over three times the price and said we had to pay the difference. With no taxis in area heavy luggage and 3 surfboards we needed somewhere walking distance. And no internet

Not really a hostel as such as there is no common area just a kitchen. I have a private room and was good for the two nights , price was reasonable

Ich war in einem zweier Zimmer und das Bett und die AC waren top. Ich hatte jedoch das Gefühl, auch wenn geputzt wurde, war der Boden und vor allem das Badezimmer nicht wirklich sauber. Die Küchenaustattung ist sehr sehr schlecht (eine Gabel, keine Schüsseln o.ä.?). Das Personal ist sehr zurückhaltend. Es wird jedoch ein hoher Wert auf Sicherheit gelegt.

schlichte saubere Unterkunft. freundliches Personal, Küche zur allgemeinen Benutzung. leider nur ein sehr kleiner Aufenthaltsbereich.

20 minuten lopen naar Playa Estrella (grootste en mooiste strand hier). Keuken is redelijk schoon, wel erg weinig voorzieningen. Wat oude pannen, bestek en een bord. In de keuken staat 1 tafel met 2 stoelen voor het hele hostel. Er zijn geen ramen dus het is daar erg warm. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte ging rond 20u dicht (dat is ook de enige plek waar wifi is. In de kamer zelf is geen bereik). Hierdoor kan je nergens echt goed zitten. Kamer had wel airco en het bed lag lekker!

The location is great, right in the centre of town. Also felt extremely safe as had two key fobs to enter property. Comfortable beds & pillows, towels provided. WiFi was bad & only available in restaurant downstairs, not in rooms. Feel like this should be stated somewhere?! Especially since I needed to work. Staff were quite rude & stand-off-ish. No smile or welcome. It’s an ok place to sleep for a night or two.

Nice place if you only want a place to sleep. No social activities or places to hang out except from a balcony. Nice little kitchen to cook food, but can become crouded. Perfect if you are a couple or you just want to have a calm night by yourself. The room was super clean and comfortable and the location is really nice in the centre.

great location, ended up in the 2bed female dorm by myself for the one night I booked & really enjoyed a room&bathroom to myself for little money, no common areas besides the small kitchen, so more a hotel than a hostel but really enjoyed it. Yes it’s noisy but the room had AC, comfortable beds and with earplugs it was fine :)

Sehr zentral, große Zimmer und bequeme Betten.

Wie hatten ein Doppelzimmer welches wirklich sauber und ordentlich war. Auch die Lage ist super. Die Küche ist etwas gruselig aber sonst passt alles. Es ist aber weniger ein Hostel als ein Hotel ohne Gemeindschafts oder Außenbereich

Very clean nice rooms, great price and great location! It’s true there’s no hang out spot so it’s more of a hotel than a hostel, but it’s worth it for the price and cleanliness!

Die wohl sauberste Unterkunft meinee gesamten Reise. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet, das man braucht. Die Kücke verfügt über einen Kühlschrank, einem Gaskochfeld, mehreren Pfannen und Utensilien die man zum Kochen braucht. Öl, Gewürze etc. muss jede Person selber mitbringen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Hostel verfügt aber nicht über einen gemeinsamen Bereich, ausser der Küche, in dem sich die Bewohner begegnen oder gemeinsam entspannen.

Schöne, saubere Zimmer. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein.

Very convenient location. We found everything clean. The staff were welcoming. The atmosphere is pretty quiet - there was literally no one around but we enjoyed that. There is a pharmacy, shop and ATM just downstairs as well. There is a kitchen that is equipped with everything. Very suitable for a short stay.

More like a hotel than a hostel. Not social, and did not see a kitchen. Room was nice, check in was easy and friendly but otherwise saw no staff or other guests. Good location to see sunset, dive/ snorkel trips, shops, atm, meals. About 25 minute walk from surf spots.

goed hostel met schone kamers en een goed bed. locatie is ook dicht bij het strand en andere restaurants en tours. helaas wat geluidsoverlast van de overburen maar dit was in het hostel en de kamers niet storend.
