Maracujá Hostel

Séjour incroyable ! Le petit-déjeuner était merveilleux, toujours frais et délicieux. L’hospitalité de toute l’équipe a rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale. Et un grand merci à Raphael, le propriétaire, pour son poisson frit exceptionnel. Absolument délicieux ! Ambiance chaleureuse, accueillante et authentique. Je recommande vivement!

Really nice hostel in the centre of Paraty! It’s relatively small, so after one night you know everybody! I really liked that. They also organized a bbq for everyone. Very chilled vibes, would def. Recommend

Really nice hostel on the river with a great outdoor area. The staff were super nice, especially Raphael, on our first day he gave us tips on what to do and connected us with a boat tour which was very good value for money.

It was not very clean, the rooms are TOOO small! Not space for anything! Nowhere to lock your stuff in and right out to the open street. Not a nice and safe feeling! We changed hostel after 10 minutes of being there. Would not recommend.

Hostel was dirty and messy, bathroom was mouldy, sheets were ripped. People were lovely but it was mainly volunteers staying there. Left after 1 night

Uno de los mejores hostels donde me quedé sin dudas. Todo el personal es amable, me pareció de comer y estar en familia ya desde el primer día, muy atentos, barato y bueno. Todos los dias que me quedé prepararon siempre desayuno super rico y también cena super buena. Super recomendable. Volveré

I loved this hostel! The breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

The mattresses were mouldy, overall the place wasn’t clean, we were also given the wrong room. The bed frames were also extremely flimsy and difficult to get in and out of, with no curtains for privacy. The staff member was nice, and the people staying there were friendly, but I left after one night here because the bed was disgusting.

cute hostel at great location, for sure also because of the humidity but it wasn‘t really clean, beds were layed-through and there wasn‘t a big hostel athmosphere with the people.

I really enjoyed the Maracuja hostel. Very cool vibes and people. David was super helpful and even saved me after messing up the dates😅 super cute dog and great location.

Great Breakfast located on the river and walking distance to town & beaches

The whole place smelt like weed, clearly they were smoking indoors. The bathrooms were filthy, there were no secure places to leave valuables and the door to our room didn’t even lock, we weren’t unable to unlock it ourselves if it did. The beds were falling apart and the sheets were dirty. The place looked nothing like the images. We booked somewhere else after the first night and sadly ended up quite out of pocket. Needs some serious work, also don’t smoke weed inside! It smells stale.

Honestly, I can't recommend this hostel and I'll explain why. The main issue is security - there simply isn't any. The room has no lock whatsoever, so anyone can walk in at any time. No cameras in the hallways, nothing. The lockers are placed outside the room in a common area, which also has no cameras or any kind of security. So even if you lock your stuff away, it doesn't really feel safe. The room itself is extremely small for a 5-bed dorm. With two people moving around at the same time it ...

The staff were friendly, the beds were okay nothing special, good little kitchen and nice hang out areas + friendly cats :)

Je recommande fortement le Maracuja hostel, les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et le personnel est très agréable. Il est très bien placé. La chambre privative est petite mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, good facilities, and excellent location by the river, perfect for relaxing or running. Just a short walk from the historic old town and great value for the price.
