- tenían un letrero amenazante en la entrada, tardaron MUCHÍSIMO en abrirme la puerta, nadie me ayudaba con las maletas, y estaba muy oscuro y tétrico el lugar. Me fui a otro hostal.

- Omg… I normally don’t write reviews, but this is by far the WORST place I’ve ever stayed. RUN away and don’t stop. I had been in Palermo for 6 days, staying in an Airbnb. On what I thought was my last night, I realized I needed one more night, so I quickly booked this place on Booking.com, knowing I’d only arrive late after spending the day in Cefalù. When I got there, the nightmare began. The lady at check-in told me I had to pay €4 city tax (which I thought I had already paid on Booking) AND €10 extra for late check-in. Booking clearly stated it was only €5. When I politely showed her, she suddenly started yelling at me, pushing me, and speaking aggressively in Italian. Everyone around was shocked and disappointed by her behavior. Another woman came out and apologized, saying she’d call the son to sort it out. When he arrived, things got even worse. He showed up drinking and smoking, with a rude, careless attitude. Instead of listening or helping, he just said: “Pay the money or get out.” The moment I tried to explain that Booking listed €5, he cut me off and said: “You can’t stay here anymore.” And was also using racial slurs At that point, I felt completely violated. I called the police because I had been physically assaulted. The police came, but told me that unfortunately in Sicily the law favors women, so they couldn’t do anything even though I had been pushed. I was left out at night, scrambling to find another place to stay. This was an absolute nightmare of an experience — unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable. I truly wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Save yourself the stress and DO NOT BOOK this place.

+ The location was great! Directly in the center of everything with tons of bars, restaurants and everything you need near by. The bathrooms seemed quite clean, which was good.

- For some reason the door to my room was open 24/7 and by open I don’t mean that it wasn’t able to lock it, but the door was wide open all day and all night. I asked the staff why that was and they didn’t really care and told me to just lock it (they didn’t even give me a key to the room at first?!). But even after locking it at night the first person coming in left it wide open and so it stayed all night, every night. My room seemed to be some kind of passage room. People were walking in and out of the room all night without even trying to be quiet. The room mine was leading to didn’t even have a door?! So basically any person can come into the room you are sleeping in at any given time, which made me very uncomfortable for instance. Also the lounge was right next to my wide open door, so the people hanging and socializing basically almost in the same room didn’t help either. Also because it’s right in the center of a very lively street with lots of bars it is very loud at night. You can hear everything and especially Saturday night was crazy loud but really you can hear people partying any night of the week. Don’t get me wrong, I am aware that if you value privacy and silence at night, a hostel maybe isn’t the best choice to begin with and I’m normally really not a sensitive person on that topic but this hostel was the worst one I have ever stayed at considering that sleeping at night seemed pretty much impossible.

- La gérante ma criée dessus parce que j'ai sonné à 18h sous prétexte qu'elle était sous la douche et que j'avais les clés. Alors qu'ils ont un problème de serrure qui n'ont pas réparé et c'est un horaire normal et la réception doit y avoir quelqu'un.

- The worst experience in my long Booking client experience. Very agressive staff - son and mother - agressive, threatening, insulting in an unecessary way. Shortly be4 arrival, I received a mail from their side saying that 5 euros were due for check-in 10pm 12 am and 10 euro for check in after midnight. This was not clear in the reservation and certainly contradicted the content of the messages I received from booking which read that no additional fee was to be paid upon arriving between midnight and 1 amyour side. This is Booking responsibility. But not only that, I would like to report the agressive and insulting, even threatening attitude of the host (the son upon my check-in ) then the mother in the morning. The Son threatened me to throw me in the road if I did not pay these 10 euros of 14. 4 were due for city tax anyway. Saying he had better things than waiting for clients that if I stayed he would wake me up at 7. The following morning, today Fri 15/08, when I checked out, and asked for an invoice the mother of the guy started insulting in Italian etc. It turned out that they did not have invoicing paper....The guy wrote me a note acknowledging the payment of these extra 10 euros. Besides the mistake in booking communication (no extra fee for late arrival) I have never been treated like this anywhere in my extensive travellings.

- Todo. Desde el trato del manager (nefasto, la peor experiencia que tuve en turismo de mi vida) hasta la habitación. No tienen ventilador ni aire acondicionado. No tiene sentido.

- Could not stand on the shower ceiling too low, no aeration, ventilator fixed with tape to the ceiling

- Staff refused to re-adjust dates for booking thou it says that booking is flexible if dates change. They did adjustment once but not for my second request. I do not think it is anyhow a problem, at least other hostels were more welcoming and accepted adjustment.

- Özellikle oteli işleten anne ve oğlu berbat kişiliklere sahipler,her sorduğun soruyu alay ederek cevap veriyorlar, saat 15 de giriş denmesine rağmen, tam bir saat keyfi olarak beni beklettiler, üstelik bekleme yerinde tadilat vardı ve bir saat boyunca kulakları sağır edecek seste beklemek zorunda kaldım, ayrıca wifi berbattı, öyle bir odaya verdiler ki girişin hemen yanında alt katta, orada da internet çekmiyordu, hayatımda ilk kez bir hostel hakkında bu kadar olumsuz yorum yazıyorum, çünkü hala aklımda o terbiyesiz çalışanların alaycı bakışları var, hele anne bağıra bağıra telefonda konuşuyordu, yahu tamam sicilyalısın da bu kadar da saygısızlık olmaz, sanki mecburen kalıyoruz otelinizde, neyse burada kalınca ne demek istediğimi anlayacaksınız, berbat otel sahipleri umarım başınıza berbat şeyler gelir

+ Big rooms. Good location.

- The shower is hot and functional but rather low pressure. So not so much water is coming out.

+ super angenehmer Gastgeber und generell eine tolle Atmosphäre. Und das dazubuchbare Frühstück, war auch großartig!!!!

- Für mich wäre eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche noch hilfreich gewesen. Aber zumindest Kühlschrank, Besteck und Teller waren da.

+ Wygodne łóżko, bardzo przestronna szafka - zamykana! Bardzo duży plus 😊

+ The whole quarter or laggia in general!

- Just the pillows, which were inmates grade but other than that it was an fenominal stay!

+ I spent one week and had a great time, the people were lovely. When I arrived the hostel was almost empty and just opened the season. It was perfect to meet Yuri the owner, and we had a chat once in a while. As the days went by more people came and you could always find someone to talk to.

- There were basically 2 things missing to get a "perfect score". The hostel doesn't have a real kitchen, so cooking was not possible. Otherwise the location is next to a party street, but most of the time this didn't bother me.
