WeFlow Hostel(Shanghai Xintiandi)

This hostel was honestly such a chaotic adventure 💀 We spent what felt like half our trip trying to find it—wandering through a alleyway with zero signs. Once we made it, the beds were actually super comfy (thank god), but the bathroom? Gross. The room had these giant glass panels making it imposible to sleep. Nighttime was an experience, the insanely loud snoring of the staff and the 4am dinner party(?!?) kept us awake. No service in the rooms and the WiFi gave up on life too

The bathroom and shared areas were dirty and smelled bad. Most surfaces in the bed cabins and toilets were dirty. The wifi did not work and there is no cell service in the rooms. The building is under construction so access to the hostel is through alleyways full of construction and not lit, which felt very unsafe. There is a back path that is better but it is down a dark alleyway. It is well located and the staff were very helpful but I wouldn’t advise you to stay here.

I've never been in a dirtier hostel. garbage piling up, the bathroom was a messy the (only) shower for men in the first floor covered in dirt. dogs came in and out, table and decorations a mess. staff was super kind and helpful, but I moved the first night.

Personale non parla inglese ma fa il possibile per aiutarti… darei una valutazione migliore per quanto riguarda l ubicazione e la sicurezza. Ma una valutazione di 9 è esageratamente alta per la struttura

The hostel is in a good location, but the cleanliness is terrible. Do not stay here. The bathrooms have hair everywhere and are filthy; it's clear they haven't been deep cleaned in a long time. The pictures make it look spotless, but that's not the reality. Avoid this place.

Wouldn’t recommend at all. Its not clean and the female bathroom is almost in the same area as reception. It doesn’t look like the pictures . The staff is nice tho

Not what i excpected. firstly the enterance to the place looked like a ghetto, i honestly had to ask twice as i was walking down to confirm and reconfirm it was the right place. in my room there was guy in there who was on a longterm rent but he kept clearing his throat every 5 mins,disgusting! the room smelt bad.. there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower to be shared by all the men, i dont know about the women. the toilets walls were filthy i didnt want to touch the walls.needs a MAJOR CLEAN

No mattress, just a filler between your back and the wooden ground. Everything happening in the "common room" can be heard, making it difficult to sleep. One shower and one toilet for all men, with the washbasin right in the corridor. Cold. The location is the only good thing.

Es war ganz ok für diesen Preis. Jedes Bett hatte ein Schränkchen mit Passwort. Die Mädels dort haben mir sehr geholfen und waren total nett. Jemand in meinem Zimmer hat richtig gestunken und ich dürfe dann mein Zimmer ändern

Nice hostel, very well located. The facilités are a bit rudimentary but clean and the hostel is well maintenez. The dorm of 4 are comfy with a light and a safe for valable. For the privé one could not ask for much more :)

The hostel is much simpler than it looks in the photos, but the rooms are clean and the reception service is excellent. It’s a great place to work or just sit and relax in the front area. It’s very close to the metro, and there are plenty of shops and convenience stores nearby, and the location is amazing. The night receptionist is absolutely wonderful. People who run the place are so nice, it’s a bit small and it’s a peaceful place, overall had a decent stay

I had a great stay at this hostel. It is very close to an excellent shopping and eating street, and the French Concession. Furthermore, the staff were very polite and obliging and it was very clean. However, it requires the guest to walk down alley ways which are very dark at night, to access it. And problematic too is that there is only 1 toilet and shower per men and women.

The beds/rooms were comfortable and clean. There was, however, only one shower and toilet for men and it was not cleaned properly. Quite a noisy hostel as well, with the rooms with thin walls attached to the (small/limited) common area.

The property didn’t look the same as the pictures, but the staff were super kind and helpful, other guests were friendly, and the hostel was secure.

Security: the access to the hostel is through a gate that isn’t ever closed and anyone could walk in. There is a small locked cubby for your important things. But you cannot use your own lock. You have to use their 4 digit code which is very loud to enter and worked half the time for me. Cleanliness: my biggest complaint. Black mold on in the showers and on shower curtains. Same bandaid was on the wall in shower for my 5 nights there. Same dead bugs in room even though I pointed it out to maid...

Honestly it was the dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed in. I do not recommend it at all. The cubicle was dirty with hair and dust and more so I couldn't put anything on the shelves. The floor and sinks were terribly dirty and the shower was disgusting as well. Also no soap, shampoo or conditioner so bring your own. The only good thing is the locker inside the cubicle and the location. If you still want to stay here please check the place before you pay to see for yourself🙏
