+ Offer many options for breakfast

- The room is quite cold, and hot water is not pretty hot. Honestly, I don't quite enjoy staying here.

+ The hosts were wonderful and I loved their two dogs!

+ Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, the owner provides a heated water bladder in the bed every night which kept us very warm and cozy. We slept well every night which says a lot because I have a sensitive back. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. We wish we could have gotten to no them better. The wife helped us arrange taxis everyday to and from the city center when we found out that Ubers would not come up there and some taxis don't know how to get there.

- The location is definitely on the outskirts of the city. We assumed it would be easy to get ubers to and from this location but we never had success calling an uber to the house to get a ride to the center or getting an uber ride from the city center up there. This seemed to be either because they don't pay them enough or the uber driver could not find us. Even some cab drivers got confused trying to get us up there. It is not a bad area up there but just be aware it's not a convenient location.

+ Anfitriões extremamente solícitos e educados, inclusive levou bolsas de água quente para nós aquecermos a cama. O quarto é muito bonito e as camas confortáveis. Tudo muito limpo e organizado e o café da manhã tudo muito caseiro e gostoso. Os donos tem dois labradores lindos e muito mansos

- O quarto era bastante frio, e, a água do chuveiro era intermitente, não se mantinha quente, eu tomei banho frio. E entra bastante claridade no quarto, por causa de uma clarabóia no teto.

+ Het echtpaar dat het hostel runt zijn fantastisch, heel erg lief en attent! Je krijgt elke avond een waterkruik tegen de kou en het ontbijt is uitgebreid. De honden van het echtpaar zijn fantastisch, we hebben 2 nieuwe vrienden gemaakt.

- Het hotel zit echt ver uit het centrum. Dus je moet van wandelen houden of er rekening mee houden dat je extra geld kwijt bent aan een taxi op en neer. De wc en de douche zitten niet afgesloten in de hotelkamer, hou hier rekening mee.

+ Ma copine et moi avons logé 3 nuits dans ce logement et avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement est très bien placé. Vous êtes à côté de nombreux sites archéologiques, accessibles à pied en 10 min. Pour ce qui est de l’accès à Cusco, comptez 10-15 min de marche. Et les retours au logement se font en taxi très facilement. Pour ce qui est du logement, il est très confortable, Romulo, l’hôte, nous apporte même une bouillotte pour nous réchauffer la nuit, ce qui est très agréable ! Enfin, Romulo est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, ce fut une très belle rencontre. Il est vraiment aux petits soins et fait son maximum pour nous. Nous arrivions en bus de nuit qu’il restait éveillé la nuit pour être informé de notre heure d’arrivée et venir nous chercher, n’hésitait pas à nous conseiller ou rendre service dès qu’il le pouvait… bref je n’ai que des choses positives à dire !

+ The owners of this place are amazing. They go out of their way (e.g. buying special food because of my gluten and lactose intolerance, making special tea when I was sick). They place is very unique and quiet. It is located next to a beautiful nature reserve. If you like nature and the more spiritual path - go heee!! Be aware that the place is out of the centre. The walk down is pretty easy but going up you will need a taxi. Also, it can get pretty cold at night (the make you something to heat your bed). Keep this in mind whilst coming here, we loved it though!

- The fact that it gets cold, especially at night makes the place a little bit less comfortable. But this is nothing they can really change.

+ Helga and Romulo were absolutely delightful. Gave us a warm welcome and lots of local tips . Romulo is also a guide with many years of experience, very knowledgeable in Andean culture . Their garden is quite pretty and full of pottery ( he gave us and introduction in their names and uses ) . The doggies are super sweet . And the location is amazing being so close to preserved Inca trail and many huacas.

+ Wenn nochmal Cusco, dann dort!! Die Unterkunft an sich ist Mega. Ist zwar kein Hotel, aber viel besser. Die Gastgeber sind herzliche Menschen, wie man sie selten erlebt hat. Wie wurden selbst in die Stadt gefahren!

+ Many places have we stayed and never have we felt more at home. Two nights turned into nine. Amazing hospitality from Helga & Romolo. And of course Sophie & Lupo, their loving pups. A tip to who makes the wise decision to stay at Kosko: walking into town is a joy. About 25 minutes downhill to Plaza de Armas, first through the national park on and old Incan trail, then through the amazing San Blas neighborhood. Because it’s uphill, and usually we were tired coming back at night, we taxied home. 20 soles. Uber will calculate wrong and the drivers will cancel your ride because the fare Uber calculates is too low, which is true. Don’t be surprised if an Uber driver asks for more. It’s how it works. While getting to and from downtown is a bit more of a quest from Kosko, it’s location wins big when you’re heading north of Cusco to daytrip to the many towns & Incan sites in the Sacred Valley. It’s a 5 minute walk from Kosko across the national park to the road north where you can easily pick up a very affordable white combi van to wherever you want to go. And the same coming home. 5 soles to Pisac for example. Don’t let the outside of downtown location steer you away. It’s a strength of Kosko’s! Now I have to figure out how to live without a hot water bottle in my bed every night.

+ Great food, very accommodating hosts, and a beautiful location. It felt like a home away from home.

- The hot water was a bit faulty where it would be burning hot and then freezing, but other than that it was great!

+ Die Betreiber des Hotels, Romulo und Gelga sind wundervolle Menschen. Sie sind Hilfsbereit und helfen bei jedem Anliegen. Mit ihnen fühlt man sich wie zuhause, was den namen „Casa“ völlig rechtfertigt. Der Service ist mehr als zufriedenstellend und der Garten und die Terassen sind wundervolle Oasen um ambends oder Tagsüber zu entspannen. Den ganzen aufenthalt versüssen einem zusätzlich die zwei Hunde Sophie und Lupo, welche richtig Kuschelsüchtig und super Menschenfreundlich sind. Falls man mal einen schlechten Tag hatte, kam man „nach Hause“ und konnte sich von einem Kuscheligen Vierbeiner trösten lassen. :) Die Lage ist für Naturfreunde und Menschen, die es gerne ruhig haben perfekt. 5 min vom „Templo de la Luna“ entfernt, welcher von Wunderbarer Natur umgeben ist. Dort kann man wundebar wandern, spazieren oder einfach die Berglandschaft von Cusco geniessen. Die Unterkunft ist jeden Cent wert.

+ The absolute best thing about this hotel is the hosts. Romulo and Gelga are sensational. They are willing to help, offer advice and basically be an abroad family for you. They are great. The rooms were spacious and clean. Also love the hotel dogs (Sophie and Lupo). They’re always friendly and love pats.

- This is either a positive or a negative. But you are a bit out of the Centro Historico here. It’s a good 20-40 minute walk both ways. But that also means it is super peaceful and quiet here (your close by qenqo and Sacsayhuaman here).

+ Wenn man sich im Garten aufhält, dauert es keine ruhigen 5minuten und man bekommt einen Kolibri zu Gesicht. Das Frühstück ist In Ordnung. Die Lage perfekt wenn man zu den Orten laufen möchte, da alles direkt um die Ecke ist. Wenn man etwas Essen möchte muss man allerdings runter in die Stadt, das muss man bedenken! Tolle herzliche Gastgeber die sich wirklich um einen kümmern und Gespräche mit dir auf dem Niveau deiner Reise führen! Die Zimmer sehr sauber, etwas frisch aber man bekommt eine heise WärmFlasche ins Bett. Die Dusche wird warm (erst nach 2-3min) also wer ungeduldig ist duscht halt kalt ;)

- Man muss sich der Lage bewusst sein. Es ist viel laufen oder viel Taxi bezahlen. Da ich Laufen bevorzuge kein Problem für mich.
