Les Chouettes Hostel (SARL VENEZIA HOSTEL)

I would not recommend this property at all. It’s only perk is its location which was perfect. Outside of that my experience was staying in a hot room with no AC with 3 smelly, snoring men. On top of that I had to listen to the people below us to because they stairway opened into there room as well.

Bagni e docce minuscoli. La manopola a pressione per aprire il rubinetto deve essere costantemente premuta per aprire il getto (sia doccia che bagno), creando non poche scomodità. Il doccino è fissato al muro, non si può manovrare. L'acqua della doccia per i primi tre minuti è fredda (e sei obbligato a bagnarti il braccio per tenere aperto il getto. Il piatto doccia è così piccolo che non riesce ad evitare che l'acqua si riversi per terra (con rischio di allagare il bagno).

As a young female and foreigner I have never felt more unwelcome in a place then in this hostel. Staff were nice but didn’t make me feel welcome and did the bare minimum customer service. I’m was told that I don’t belong in the dorm because I’m female. I felt so unwelcome that I reorganised my holiday and left Rennes asap.

Sweet, little location next to the city center right by the lake. Unfortunately, there is a carpet in the dormitory room with lots of dust in it. You even kick up a lot of dust when walking. Since I’m allergic, I had problems to sleep. It’s a nice, safe and cute place. Friendly stuff. Curtains are useful. I couldn’t use my lock for the locker as it was broken. The bathrooms are mostly clean. There was only a loud fan in the room, no A/C. I would only come again to enjoy the bar terrace.

Stay here was enjoyable. Bar and common area were nice. I thought was in good location. Not to far from train/bus station and close to downtown area. Toilet and shower were small but I am tall and large individual but still usable. Staff very friendly. Would be happy to stay here again.

It was a decent hostel. Not the cleanest in the bathrooms, but I think this is because a whole floor shares one communal bathroom so it gets used a lot. Since it is shared women and men bathrooms and because of the layout, it is very difficult to get changed. The cafe/bar downstairs was very nice and staff was very friendly.

Hübsches Hostel, hat aber keine Küche und keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer (im Sommer definitiv nötig). Die Schubladen unter den Betten sind sehr laut und teilweise kaputt. Für eine Etage mit mindestens 20 Betten gab es ein kleines Gemeinschaftsbad welches nur ein großes Waschbecken hat und die Duschräume sind auch eher eng. Einen richtigen Gemeinschaftsraum gibt es nicht, dafür kann man das Café nutzen.

Entgegen der Aussagen auf der Hostelworld Seite gibts keine Küche und das Frühstück ist auch nur ein lächerliches Baguette

Quiet l guess due to the time of week and year but despite very limited French on my behalf and limited English on behalf of the staff, I found them pleasant, affable and extremely helpful. It felt like they'd bend over backwards to make you feel welcome

Gute Lage, gemütlicher Café und Bar-Bereich mit Blick auf die Vilaine. Die Badezimmer waren leider nicht sehr sauber und die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Schlafsaal sehr hoch, sodass sich Schimmel an den Wänden gebildet hat .

Everyone was very nice and friendly, always ready to help you with anything, especially speaking French. But I have to admit, what I appreciated most was Manuela's smile.

Le personnel est très sympathique et la partie bar/salon/terrasse est très agréable. Les lits sont confortables. Petit bémol pour la propreté des toilettes, assez moyenne le soir !

Les Chouettes est une très bonne auberge de jeunesse. Malgré l'absence de cuisine, il est possible de demander à faire réchauffer son plat au micro-onde, et d'apporter sa propre nourriture. Il y a un très bon libanais juste en face, et des supermarchés à moins de 10 minutes à pied. Les douches et les toilettes sont propres, de même que les dortoirs. En tant que femme, je me sentie en sécurité, même dans le dortoir mixte de 10 lits. L'équipe est chaleureuse et réactive, j'ai passé ...

Cadre très chaleureux et bucolique tout en étant tres bien placé en centre ville.les personnes sont très bienveillantes et aimmables. Y venir absolument en toute confiance

I had an amazing stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was in 4 bed female dorm and there was even a cute little balcony! The bathroom was clean and the room was as well. I will absolutely return here!

todo espectacular, mi única queja sería en cuanto a los baños y duchasuy pequeño tamaño, no te podés mover, y el sistema de las duchas de agua tipo push es un inconveniente ya que hasta que el agua se calienta tenés que mantener presionado y al ser tan chico el espacio te mojas con agua fria; tuve suerte de no ir en pleno invierno.

Très bon emplacement et personnel très sympathique, tout est très propre et il y a une merveilleuse terrasse !

It was really nice place to stay, the only thing I suggest for me; I recommend an elevator jejeje, I had a big luggage but it was ok since I was in the first floor

I really liked the hostel. very pretty, had curtains and friendly staff. only negative is that there is no kitchen and that it was not that social.
