W168 Hostel

The manager tried refusing to allow me to control the aircon in my room. He left me with the remote and when I came back to the room it was gone, meaning he entered which made me uncomfortable. I asked him to put the temp down and had to almost beg him to let me keep the remote. He barely spoke English so it was hard to communicate and he was the only employee I saw there. Not social at all. Overall lack of trust.

Clean and well located hostel. However the female 4 bed dorm had no window, hence the smell was not so inviting. Staff was lovely

The owners at this hostel are so kind and welcoming, they even took me to the pier themselves when I asked about organising a taxi! Connie the dog is adorable! Location is good, less than 10 mins walk to the Old Town. It was very quiet when I stayed so there wasn’t a social atmosphere, but that was fine for one night’s stay. The place is super clean and the cafe/Thai tea place downstairs does great drinks.

Issues with self check-in, I arrived at the hostel during check in hours however door was locked, no answer on their public WhatsApp number, I waited over an hour to be given self check in instructions which I received after sending them a message on instagram. Hostel was empty apart from one night, I was the only person there. Hostel staff very apologetic about check in and helped me out when I was sick. Sure it’s a great place to stay during peek season

Quite a quiet hostel - really good if you're looking for a bit of a retreat in Phuket Old town. We found it to be a really great location and is a fab alternative for staying in this area if you don't fancy the bustle of Patong. We used as a base to go to the elephant sanctuary. Super cool outdoor shower on top floor!

Arrived late on the bus and was greeted nicely and even though its not a sociable hostel there is some local bars close by but its spot on and would definitely stay again

Comfortable hostel in the old part of town. Has a chilled vibe where you can get a fairly decent night's sleep. The showers were good and the lockers were spacious.

Pretty nice overnight stop in readiness for a Phi Phi day trip. Close to the port so you can get picked up around 8-8:30am. This small hostel had some charming features and was cosy. The beds were pretty tightly packed though and the curtains are hanging between the bunks rather than around your bed - most people were asleep early and up early for the boat so it wasn’t an issue. The owner is really sweet and very helpful.

The vibe of this hostel is so cool and the staff are really welcoming! The security of the place is not the greatest and sometimes you can’t find the staff if they don’t have any new check-ins for the day which can be inconvenient if you are in need of something.Would be better with a mirror in the rooms to get ready near a wall plug in or have a plug in near the wash room area. Also the beds don’t have any screens around them so not much privacy. Solid hostel choice for the most part.

A little quiet, but comfortable beds. A nice enough place to stay for a night or two.

Lovely stay for one night. Host and the puppy were so lovely, accommodating and nice. Very clean, quiet and secure. I was made coffee and toast in the morning and given a ride to the pier. Thank you so much! Would love to stay again if I get the chance .

Had a great time staying here as a solo traveler. Tan and Cony are very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Very helpful, making sure I had the best time. 100% would stay here again.

The host was so kind, she made us feel at home. She gave us good advice about where else to go in Thailand and how to get there. She even let my friend borrow her water shoes for a kayaking trip!

A hidden gem! Funky hostel with chill vibes. The most comfy beds I've stayed in in Thailand. Wow!!!

Im so glad that I chose this absolute GEM for my stay in Phuket. I honestly wish I’d had more time here, especially to take advantage of the kind host’s many recommendations! The hostel is comfortable and has many cute and thoughtful touches that I won’t soon forget. I’ll be coming back!

Das Hostel liegt sehr praktisch in der Altstadt, während meines Aufenthalts war es super ruhig. Mehrere Bad-Möglichkeiten und sowohl AC als auch ein Ventilator in den Zimmern. Die Mitarbeiter waren super lieb, unten kann man sich hinsetzen und auch Frühstücken.

hello, very nice hostel. I would just recommend putting an aircon in the common space below and I was lacking a small pool. If you can manage to redo the rooftop with a small pool and chill area, would be perfect :)

Clean and nice cozy place but only if u want your peace. If u want to meet people it’s not the right one but really clean and the stuff is helpful

Absolutely brilliant hostel, not a crazy atmosphere (which is sometimes needed) due to the location. It isn’t really a party heavy area. Best hostel I have stayed in so far.

Really enjoyed my stay here; the facilities and rooms were clean. If you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay this is a great place. Super close to the night markets as well if you happen to stay on a Sunday!
