Curio Cabin

Aussenbereich wirklich sehr sehr schön. Leider hat in unserem Zimmer die Dusche dauerhaft getropft, dadurch ging nachts die Pumpe an, was sehr störend war. Zudem stand dadurch unser Bad dauerhaft unter Wasser… wir nutzen darauf hin die Gemeinschafts-/duschen und Toiletten. Zudem ging das Internet nicht bis in unser Zimmer. Auch die Decken empfanden wir als unpassend. Kissen hingegen sehr gut. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend

It said ac. There was no ac just a fan. Also there were running water problems. Basics that need to be fixed.

Nice hostel with clean rooms and towels, staff were lovely and they let me leave my luggage there all day. Biggest downside was NO HOT WATER in the dorm rooms - showers were freezing and not great pressure…

Very cute outside area although not social at all. No pool is a miss. Clean and staff is incredible very helpful and nice! Would recommend if you don’t want to meet people.

Absolutely Fabulous staff, nicest I’ve ever come across. Could book tours and trips there. Extremely clean. Didn’t charge me the first might that I could not make it. A few mins walk out of town so very quiet. Only two mins walk from the van terminal. Not a very social hostel. Shower was COLD! heating unit had been removed. Don’t know if this has happened in all rooms but for me was extremely disappointing.

The staff were lovely and the beds super comfy. There was a lack of atmosphere there though. I put this down to there not really being a social area. I raised with the hostel staff when I checked out that there was no water pressure with the [cold water only] shower. I had to use a bucket of water and ladle to wash. The other thing to note is that they are mid construction. This doesn’t make for a relaxing ambience as I was woken to the sound of work being done outside (hammering etc.).

Nice, new hostel very close to town. Dorm, bathroom and beds were all good. However the hostel is still under construction, which starts at 8am each morning. There’s not much of a social area yet, but I think it will be a really nice place once it’s finished!

Nice chilled hostel away from the busy roads but not a far walk. Bed was comfy & room was spacious enough. Bathroom was very hot though and shower sprayed out the side of the head so went everywhere, would be good if that was fixed, water also won’t be hot just FYI! Otherwise a good chilled hostel to stay in while in Port Barton

Very nice, had everything js said it would, nice seating area outside, free water outside every room, foot washing areas. Wasn’t a very social hostel but that’s ask expected, area is quiet which is nice. Short walk/5 minutes into town or the beach. Bike rental all around. No hot water but that’s the same as every hostel. Rooms don’t lock and lockers were very small but were lockable. Felt very safe tho.

Clean and cozy, a leisurely 10-minute walk to the sea. You can rent a motorbike at the hostel (I highly recommend Honla Navi), book van tickets, and island tours. Thanks to Jam for her help – she answered any questions and was always available p.s. Keep in mind that this is a "village" so roosters crowing in the morning is normal

What a lovely hostel and chill garden! The rooms and beds are good. Enough shower en toilet facilities. The staff is incredibly kind and did anything to make our stay worthwhile. Would definitely recommend for a tranquil stay just outside the main traffic centre.

Im very grateful with the attention given to me by the staff, I had an accident and they were genuinely concerned about me, they took care of me and made me feel like I am at home. The place indeed is very peaceful and natural, the beds are confortable and the dorms are cozy. The location is very convenient.

I really enjoyed my stay at curio cabin. The female dorm was really nice and the beds were comfy. I also liked the outside sitting area and the staff were always really friendly and helpful. The location is also great, in a quiet street but just a few minutes to all the shops and food spots.

What a beautiful hostel! I stayed one night in the female dorm which was just really cozy and gorgeous. The other night I stayed in another dorm which was also nice and comfortable but not as nice and the fan was quite loud. However, the atmosphere in the hostel is quiet and perfect if you like nature. I didn’t quite figure out whether there was hot water or not but it was fine. And most importantly, the staff was so incredibly nice and always happy to help! Definitely recommend!!!

It's out of the "hustle and bustle" of Port Barton, but still walking distance from the center of the town. The hostel has a very chill, quiet vibe and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the little seating area at the gazebo. We also rented scooters and booked our bus ticket to El Nido at the hostel. The only downside is the amount of mosquitoes is the room and there were no mosquito nets at the bed. But when I asked for one, they had one for me which was great!!

Really good chill hostel

Un de nos meilleurs hostels aux Philippines ! Les coins extérieurs sont vraiment supers et le dortoir très bien aménagé. Chacun peut avoir son intimité, on y dort bien. Le personnel est gentil et réactif :)

Our stay at the curio cabin was just perfect ! The staff is lovely and super willing to help (to find the best deals for tourists). The amenities are very nice to chill. The dorms were clean with AC and enough space. The location is perfect, in a calm street, near the beaches, restaurants and the van terminal.

Super nice staff, helps with everything! Close to the beach and close to restaurants and van pick up and drop of to go to El Nido or Puerto Princesa

Das Hostel ist so schön eingerichtet, überall Pflanzen. Es ist ein sehr schönes ruhiges Hostel. Die Besitzerin ist großartig. Ich war leicht verletzt und sie und ihre Mutti haben sich um mich gekümmert, ich habe mich wie zuhause gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles. Salamat po💚

We only stayed at the hostel for one night, but it was very nice. It is located in a very beautiful, quiet area. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The courtyard was also very pleasant and had plenty of seating.

The rooms were beautiful and everything was really clean. The outdoor space is also incredible. The only thing is that it’s not very sociable.

Such a great hostel, dorms were so spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. Very close to the city, but no disturbance from the city sounds. It is not a very social hostel, so if you're looking for party, this is not your place.
