The wifi didn't reach my room, so I spent time in the common area, where I heard that a girl was robbed from the dorm rooms. Las puertas de la habitación que daba a la calle no funcionaba y no podía cerrarse y por lo tanto se escuchaban todos los autos y la calidad de sueño es muy mala, los baños estaban sucios
The doors of the room facing the street didn't work and couldn't be locked and therefore you could hear all the cars and the quality of sleep is very bad, the bathrooms were dirty

Staff is friendly, beds are nice, but its really not a hostel vibe. Hated the toilets and showers.

A decent hostel
Nous avions réservé une chambre avec lit double mais nous avons eu un lit superposé. Lorsque nous l'avons fait remarqué, ils ont remis la faute sur Hostelworld et n'ont fait aucun effort pour nous aider. La chambre avait une odeur très forte (humidité, moisies). Tous nos vêtements sentent très mauvais. Le personnel n'était pas très aimable.
We had booked a room with a double bed but we had a bunk bed. When we noticed this, they passed the blame on to Hostelworld and made no effort to help us. The room had a very strong smell (humidity, moisture). All our clothes smell very bad. The staff was not very friendly.
Die Unterkunft besticht vor allem durch ihre grandiose Lage, sowohl zum Bahnhof Atocha als auch zu wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, die fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Aufenthaltsbereiche ansprechend und sauber und es gibt einige kostenlose Angebote wie eine Walking Tour oder einen Spiele- bzw. Filmeabend. The accommodation is particularly impressive due to its magnificent location, both to Atocha Train Station and to important sights, which are within walking distance.The staff is friendly, the accommodation areas are appealing and clean and there are some free offers such as a walking tour or a games or movie night.Unfortunately, in the bathroom of our Zimmers there was a bad, moderate stench, which wavered at geöffneter Badtür even in the rooms.At this price something like that must not be.
What a great hostel! The reason for the average value for money was that I had to book a three bed room as there were no dinge or double bed private rooms available. Perhaps consider making a few more single or double bed rooms available. Great location!

Great hostel- felt like a hotel and very clean. Staff were great and let me store bags even after check out- need curtains on the beds.

Very good location and the staff very friendly! they let me keep my bags after checkout without any problem, I would definitely come back :)
The best hostel in Madrid. Just do yourself a favor and go there. From someone who tried a few. Facilities, location and staff are all great. They also are willing to keep bags until I think 4/5PM for free, unlike most other places. Highly recommend this.

Super bien ubicado, a estaciones de metro y de trenes (Atocha) caminable. Me quedé ahí porque iba a un concierto en el Palacio Vistalegre y pude ir directo en autobús en menos de 30 min. Hay 2 cosas incómodas: 1° El espacio en las duchas; es realmente DIMINUTO, puedes bañarte tranquila pero donde dejar la ropa y que no se moje es un desafío y 2° Personas MUY ruidosas, hablando sin auriculares y con video llamada en espacios comunes e incluso dormitorio. Debería indicarse uso de auricula...
I stayed there because I was going to a concert at the Palacio Vistalegre and I could go straight by bus in less than 30 minutes. There are 2 uncomfortable things: 1° The space in the showers; it is really MINIMATE, you can bathe quietly but where to leave the clothes and that is not mine is a challenge and 2° VERY noisy people, talking without headphones and with video calling in common areas and even dormitory.
Nous dormions dans une chambre familiale à l avant - donnant sur la rue donc c était légèrement bruyant . Ok pour tout le reste : position centrale , literie ok et propreté ok.
We slept in a family room in the front facing the street so it was slightly noisy.
Le grand dortoir mixte était propre, mais les lits n’ont pas de rideaux, donc zéro intimité et on éclaire tout le dortoir si on ouvre la petite lumière du lit. Les salles de bain sont très petite pour le nombre de gens, deviennent très humide et les comptoirs sont très petit pour poser un sac de toilette. Sinon la salle commune est vraiment super, il y a plein d’équipement pour se faire à manger et l’emplacement de l’hostel est idéal pour visiter le centre à pied!
The large mixed dormitory was clean, but the beds have no curtains, so zero privacy and you light up the whole dormitory if you turn on the little light in the bed.The bathrooms are very small for the number of people, they get very wet and the counters are very small to put a toilet bag on.Otherwise the common room is really great, there is plenty of equipment to cook and the location of the hostel is ideal for visiting the center on foot!

Aconsejaría que pusieran unas cortinillas a las diferentes literas. Por algo de intimidad y para no molestar a los otros usuarios con la luz o con el móvil
I would recommend that you put curtains on the different beds for some privacy and not to disturb the other users with the light or the mobile
The bed is good, the toilet tho, so small The common area look great but lacks places to sit to relax not just small seats like i didn't just came off ryanair The address is perfect to walk in the city with a metro station and where to rent bicycles just 1 min from there

Mi sono trovata molto bene, mi sarebbe solo piaciuto avere delle tende a separare i letti e i lucchetti agli armadietti. Pulizia quasi impeccabile nelle stanze ma non nei bagni. Lo consiglio comunque, anche perchè la posizione è strategica ed ottima
I have been very well, I would have only liked to have had curtains to separate the beds and the locks from the closets. the cleanliness is almost impeccable in the rooms but not in the bathrooms. i recommend it anyway, also because the location is strategic and excellent

A decent hostel
My only complaint is that the social area didn't feel the most conducive to socializing and felt small. The property was in a nice spot near bars and by Catalunya Square. It was super clean, had curtains on the beds, lockers available, and the room I was in was very spacious between the beds. The staff also take security serious, as I tried to let a friend in to use the restroom and they were strict about that.
Me gustó mucho el lugar. Ambiente tranquilo, perfecto para conocer Madrid ydescansar en la noche. Lo único que agregaría son cortinas en las camas ya que no podemos controlar la hora a la que llegan las personas y si van a respetar el sueño de los que ya están durmiendo no encendiendo la luz. También recomiendo que pongan sillas con respaldar en el área común, después de un rato sentado cansa la espalda y muchos están ahí con sus laptops trabajando.
I really liked the place. Quiet ambience, perfect to get to know Madrid and rest at night. The only thing I would add are curtains on the beds as we can't control the time people arrive and if they will respect the sleep of those who are already sleeping without turning on the light. I also recommend that they put backrested chairs in the common area, after a long sitting it tires the back and many are there with their laptops working.
The reception staff members were very nice, although there's no security on entering the building, it's only the actual dorms and rooms that you need a key-card for. The free coffee and churros we had was a nice touch, as was the film night. The room had everything we needed. The showers & toilets were ok, very clean every day, although there was nowhere to put a towel or any clothes, so they got a bit damp when i put them on the back of the shower door. great value for money
