I have been to nine different countries within the last 90 days; I have stayed at several different hostels and this was by far the most Horrible experience of my travels. Jamal, the little ugly mean man at the desk is a liability. The Rooms are dirty, the floors filthy, old hair in drains, dirty bathrooms, no one cleaning even when asked. Only location good

地点不错，但姐妹们千万小心矮个稍胖的那个前台家伙是色狼，会有目的的以小惠如给妳船票和带妳去别的景点为由抓妳，切勿单独在房间时让他进来.注意看22年七月，十月；23年三，六，八，九月的点评。

No toilet paper, no towel (listing says included), room not as pictured, aircon not working, ceiling plaster peeling and falling on the bed, bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.

Poor hostel. Had to leave due to some allergic reaction to the linen or something - to which the owner refused point blank a refund for any of my days. Very poor service. Room smelled and the showers clogged so the water does not go down the drain

This place has a bed bug infestation. Noticed them in at least three beds and another bed had feces marks on the crevices of the mattress. The shower drain is full of dead flies, and several live ones flying around while you shower. Like come on, at least clean out the drain of the dead flies. One of the owners lives in the dorm with the guests which creates an odd vibe.

Not safe for women while the current manager is employed there. The staff have a habit of sleeping in beds in the guests‘ rooms. The bathrooms aren‘t clean. Horrible smell in the ground floor room.

THE WORST HOSTEL IN WHICH I STAYED UNTIL TODAY. And I weigh my words. A room filled with bed bugs, by which we were eaten all night. No windows in the room of 12 people. It stinks and it’s unbreathable. To counter bed bugs, staff spray ENORMOUSLY every morning and it's very toxic. two female travellers and didn’t feel safe at all in a room full of men who were creepy and a man who came and touched us both in the night

very friendly staff and overall we felt quite comfortable here. nice but expensive and touristy neighbourhood. check out was at 11 and not at 12 like it said on hostelworld so keep that in mind!

Great location. Fabulous, friendly and very helpful staff. This was my second stay and I would definitely syay here again if I come to Istanbul another time.

I usually stay at Avrasya Hostel while I’m in Istanbul. It is located in a best position possible near to almost all important sightseeing sites of Sultanahmet. The price is reasonable for the bed in 12 person room. The personnel is very helpful and I enjoyed every moment of staying there. Thanks to Murat abi for the coffee.

Best hostel in Istanbul

no breakfast or coffee/tea is provided and the upstairs terrace is unused & unkept. Don’t get me wrong, the toilet works & the shower has hot water but the bathroom in the mixed dorm could seriously use some good, deep cleaning. There are old stains on the bedsheet so I simply slept in my street clothes. There was only one other guest in the mixed dorm during my recent stay and now I understand why. It is so very unfortunate to see Avrasya fall into disrepair & disregard after all these years

Love location and staff. Great places nearby for food. Staff excellent at tips, where to eat for cheap, where to shop etc. Even though touristic area it feels like you are part of the community. Other travellers have become friends...along with staff and neighbours! I've stayed twice. While its not the Ritz, Avrasya is cozy, clean and safe. Also, very close to shuttle to airport! Great place. I stayed here a bunch of times when I was backpacking through Turkey. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Istanbul. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms and comfy and clean. I felt safe here as a solo traveller both in the female dorm and the mixed dorm. Also highly recommend the shuttle bus service they can arrange if you need to go to the Asian side airport. Saved me a lot of money !

Everything was Great, the Hostel is only 2 minutes away from Hagia Sophia and very close to other tourist attractions in Istanbul. I would like to thank the hotel staff and the friendly reception.

My stay here was absolutely amazing. Staff was very helpful and guided me to amazing local restaurants that were on budget. The room is very clean and organized. Comfortable beds and very quiet at night. Showers were hot. They provide a lock and key which was needed since I forgot mine. I definitely will be coming back! Thanks jimmy for all your help!
