I had a very disappointing experience during my check-in at the hostel (I believe the name is Gerardon). The staff member who assisted me was extremely rude and unprofessional. Every question I asked was met with impatience and a disrespectful tone. Customer service is a basic expectation, especially in hospitality, and unfortunately, this was far from it. I've stayed in dozens of hostels around the world. I found the facilities to be very clean and the beds comfortable. But, it was one of the most expensive, while simultaneously one of the most basic hostels I've ever been in!! At a bare minimum there needs to be curtains on the bunks!! The wifi was virtually nonexistent. Only 2 washers and dryers, no kitchen or refrigerator. The $50 deposit is exorbitant!!

This is by far the worst hostel I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed in hostels all over N America, S America, Europe, & Asia. Truly a disappointment. I booked a female only bed & when I arrived to the hostel I was told I was placed in a mixed room with no explanation or heads up beforehand. I walked into my mixed dorm and I was the only woman in a room full of men. The room was disgusting and the bathroom was filthy. The blanket they gave me was covered in stains. Do NOT recommend this hostel.

Le personnel est désagréable, l’hostel n’est pas très propre, sent mauvais et les personnes qui y logent sont irrespectueuses: très bruyantes la nuit, certaines ont jeté un oreiller sur un inconnu etc… La taille des casiers est limitée et certaines de mes affaires ont disparues (finalement restituées). Localização ótima, porém a estrutura é ruim, a limpeza bem simples, você precisa pagar pra trocar tolha de banho ou a roupa de cama, eles te cobram um monte de taxas altíssimas. As mulheres que eu fiquei no quarto eram super educadas não tive problemas com isso. E eu peguei uma alergia por conta da tolha deles, então levem sua própria toalha, falei com eles sobre e eles não fizeram nada.

The rooms were stinking, the linens were not clean. The bathroom garbage bin lids were open and the wifi was not working. The location and the staff are great though

would not recommend!! While the hostel is fine as a place to sleep for the night, the staff were so unhelpful system"broke at 5:15am when I was trying to check-in and rather than being normal and letting me pay the next day, I was made to stay up for 30 minutes so late at night while he tried to fix it. No atmosphere or hangout area, so I assume is rarely social? They charge $2USD/ hour after 5pm for you to store your luggage which is just ridiculous! Overall terrible customer experience!

Room had light AC in it, ppl that smelled or that didn’t up after themselves. No refrigerator or microwave

I’ve been staying here for a couple of years now. It’s super clean, the best location in South beach. Everything is walkable and area is very safe. The staff is always nice especially the house keeping supervisor but she even does reception when they need help. The lady that works overnight deserves a shoutout too she’s always really friendly. Overall it’s always a good experience here. It’s also the most affordable hostel in the area. It’s definitely worth the price!

It was really nice and has a great location for the south beach. Though unfortunately the wifi is super bad and you can’t check on before the check in time so there was a line to check ln.

The location is perfect, super close to the beach! The room was clean and the shower was quite big which was nice - but the dorm only had one toilet which was a bit hard with 8 people. Also there weren’t enough outlets, only one bed had two and than two more for everyone else. We are two girls and stayed there for 3 nights and only older man were in our room, which wasn’t a problem for us but quite uncommon. Also you weren’t to hang up wet towels / bikinis in the dorm which impossible.

Picked this spot for a quick weekend during Hyrox Miami. Convenient location that's minutes away from the convention center and walking distance from the beach. Shared dorm room however, could use some updating. Bunk beds creak loudly from the slightest movement that it wakes up your roommates in the middle of the night. Blankets could be better but still decent even when someone cranks down the A/C that I still had to wear my hoodie to stay warm. Front staff is friendly

Loved it! Staff was so kind & helpful. Little extras (like drinks for purchase, & beach chairs & towels for free) were a delight. Social vibe was great, always someone on the porch, partying at night and relaxing all day. Location is excellent, 2 blocks from the beach, easy access to lots of public transit, & walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, parks, museums, & shops. (Just watch out for roommates who cover ACs with towels, and be aware there's no fridge for leftover food.)

No me dejaron hacer el check in hasta las 5 pm solo porque la persona encargada de eso se había retrasado y nadie más podía hacerlo, inadmisible. Tampoco tiene áreas comunes donde los huéspedes puedan reunirse, solo un par de mesas en la vereda del hostel. La habitación está bien y es espaciosa, pero para taparte solo te dan una manta de polar sin sábana.

It took over an over to check in because all the staff were busy doing other tasks. The rooms were not clean and the noise was constant. My "free welcome drink" ticket was not honored since I requested a non-alcoholic drink, even a water was not possible. Checking out was complicated and also took about 20 minutes because of the line forming. I've stayed in a lot of hostels across dozens of countries and hundreds of cities but this experience start to finish was subpar.

Good location but not the best atmosphere or amenities. Basic but provides what was necessary. Terrible terms on electrical scooters. Not allowed inside and no accommodations to house one. Miami is scooter central and property doesn't allow. I won't stay there again due to the fact.

Belen was fantastic and helpful! Met some great international travelers and made good friends. Excellent location as well.. only a few blocks from the beach. Loved my stay!

Good location, value for money and decent facilities especially the laundry and proximity to public transport and supermarket. Helpful staff.
