WE Hostel @ Khao Lak

This is a very basic hostel; a cheap place to sleep, poop and shower; not much more. There's no bar, laundry, kitchen, events, or even a proper common area. Bunk beds don't have privacy curtains and there are no lockers. Everything was clean, though, and it's a short walk to Monkey Bar, which has amazing live music and is probably the most lively bar in Khao Lak. It's also very close to McDonald's, which is the bus stop/pickup station for many transport companies, and is very close to the beach.

Stayed at we hostel for 3 nights and it was a great place to stay clean and made use of washing facilities great location and for the money we paid overall was a great hostel would defo book again

Die kleineren Gruppenzimmer und Sitzplätze vor der Tür laden zum quatschen ein. Die Betten quitschen, wie vermutet, leider etwas.

Tutto bene, posto molto chill in una traversa della via principale e a fianco al Mc donald punto di pick up point a Khao Lak, tutto sommato non male, 10 minuti a piedi c'è la spiaggia ma non hanno locker, dovevo fare un escursione dopo il check out e mi hanno detto di lasciare il mio zaino in reception ma è all'aperto e non c'è nessuno, tutto ok peró

This is a good place for 1 night only. No curtains, no lockers, no social area, just a dormitory with bathroom. Bed and bathroom were very clean, however metal construction of the bed was very noisy, everytime someone moves, it makes a noise, difficult to rest. Great location, just behind 711 and bus stop, close to the restaurants.

This hostel was perfect. It’s in a busy area but right next to a 7/11, which is very convenient. It’s also about a 45-minute walk to the national park, where it’s peaceful and beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and kind. I really enjoyed my time there and loved the people I met. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great and quiet spot! Large room with strong AC and hot shower. The bed was pretty firm though. Really convenient to walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. Laundry on site helpful too.

Decent small hostel with water available and a fridge in the room. Cleaning could have been better. The mattress was pretty hard, even for someone who prefers firm beds. Very thin blankets for cover. The host seemed a bit irritated when asked questions and could be more welcoming. Rooms are in good condition, but the hot water was either boiling or cold, with no functioning temperature control. Good AC, laundry options, and a good location right by 7/11. A little walk to the beach.

Good hostel, great location, staff super helpful & can book anything for you at discounted rates.

Overall it was a fine stay and I would go back for the convenience and location - especially in comparison to some of the other hostel options!

good value, 5 minute walk from beach

Little Harder to find because the main office was on a side street! However, the 4 bed room was great! Had own bathroom! Very clean and comfortable! Also has a laundry service which was very convenient! I would use this place again whenever I come back!

Very chill place to stay and also very clean. Wasn’t every social but still friendly people :)

Hostel was nice enough If you stay here you must go to daily donuts, 10 baht donuts and 19 baht drinks!!

Good location near shops and restaurants. Pretty basic.

It was okay, facilities were fine, location was close to the beach.
