As a female solo traveller, I felt super safe and cared for by the staff. The breakfast was delicious (good eggs and a tapioca pancake - would also highly recommend the orange cake). It is a 25 minute walk to town along the river, so I rented a bike on a particularly hot day so I had a 7 minute cycle to town which was perfect. Very kind hosts who lent me money for the bus to visit a nearby beach/ waterfall town of Trindade.
