Hostel by Santuario Playa

very chilled and quiet hostel in the touristy area of playa del Carmen. we had double room which had its own kitchen, but it had no plates or cutlery so had to go buy disposables from shop. room was really nice and big though so we had plenty of space. hostel staff were super nice and helpful but didn't speak much English so had to use translate a few times. was close enough to main strip and beach for us!

Bad: Lockers not in room, in the bathroom outside the room. No travelers staying there, only long term tenants who work. Bathroom has no door, so everyone in the kitchen can see you take a shower. Bathroom is not very clean. Good: Locatin is excellent, near 5th AVe. The free breakfast is good, at the cafe next door. Rooms have AC. It says towels are included but the hostel asks you to pay for them.

Enorm fijn hotel met een erg sociale sfeer

Excelente lugar para descansar y pasar días agradables ya que está todo al alcance de la mano.

Only stayed for one night because I was going to a wedding at the Grant Hyatt across the street, but it was pretty empty so they upgraded me from a dorm to a private suite. Also got the swimming pool to myself all afternoon. Had a wonderful stay!

It’s nice hostel but the facilities it wasn’t very good

Tremendo lugar, es hermoso y super bien el precio para lo genial que es! Las habitaciones compartidas son un departamento directamente, tenes cocina living comedor TODO. Un sueño el lugar! Además hay gatitos super amorosos por todos lados y el ambiente del lugar es genial. Lo amo!

Unfortunately the terrace was closed at the time of my stay but overall this is a very nice hostel. Very good and yummy breakfast and the swimming pool is very nice to chill at.
