Very Nice Stay! Also the breakfast was tasty!!

Sehr schönes Hostel, allerdings ist das Frühstück für den Preis etwas wenig, aber ansonsten alles super!!

The best option in Trinidad to find a "real" hostel with dorms and privates. It has a nice top floor terrace with a beautiful view. It is 5-10min walk from the town center. I recommend to opt-in for the breakfast which is plenty and tasty ;) Thank you!

très bon hostal sur les hauteurs de Trinidad. en revanche, l'hôte ne parle qu'espagnol, donc la communication peut ne pas être au top. En revanche la qualité de l'hébergement est là, le p'tit dej complet pas cher, et très bon.

les personnes qui travaillent dans cet hostal sont des personnes très touchante, très gentilles, toujours prêtes à aider, le petit bébé qui est dans la maison est absolument adorable, les chambres sont grandes et propres, il y a de la wifi et de l’électricité le soir.

Owner insists on barking commands and refuses to attempt to speak English. When paying in euros she casually handed my change in CUP, claiming that she, a casa particular owner, did not have any euros or american dollars. Handed me 350CUP which should've been 500CUP and refused to correct her mistake. Breakfast was the worst I've had in Cuba and the noise that they and their children make will wake you up at night.

Nice hostel in a great location. Lovely terrace and delicious breakfast and dinner. The hospitality wasn't great, though this could also be due to the language barrier. They didn't make much of an effort. One of my perfume bottles and half of my toothpaste were stolen, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't my roommate. So if you decide to stay here, make sure everything of value is in the lockers.

El hostal está muy bien, te sientes en casa. Se puede desayunar y cenar y todo es muy rico. Todo muy limpio por cirto. Si quieres una experiencia verdadera este lugar te permite relacionarte con esta esplendida familia de Trinidad. Con Carmen se puede organizar cualesquiera excursiones a los precios mejores, también organizar taxi y alojamiento en otras ciudades. The worse place I stayed in during my 16 days in Cuba… not just because of the electricity going out, or the fact that the generator barely worked, or that there was no AC or no WiFi.. or that there was no water pressure.. and no hot water.. but also as the host did not communicate effectively in regards to any of this. Sorry.

Nos alojamos en Hostal Alcuria tres noches. El precio es muy bueno y tiene todo lo necesario: aire acondicionado, ventiladores, wifi. A pesar de los apagones, la familia tiene recursos para que no te falte de nada, teniendo en cuenta que es un hostal. Tiene habitaciones privadas y compartidas. Ver el atardecer desde la terraza es increíble y preparan desayunos muy buenos. También hicimos con ellos la excursión de Topes de Collantes y la del Valle de los ingenios a caballo.

Enjoyed my stay. Wonderful hosts, a nice location on the hill. Beautiful terrace and great breakfasts! Would recommend

Overall good hostel

Carmem is amazing and the stay was joyful! Shout out especially to 1) the great breakfast 2) the horse-riding trip she organized for us and 3) the warmth of Carmen and her family! Everything is clean and comfortable, and the flat has a electricity generator (which is really useful given the energy shortage in Trinidad)

Instalações modestas mas o atendimento carinhoso e atencioso. Cama com médio conforto e café da manhã modesto. A simpatia e acolhimento familiar foi o grande destaque na hospedagem. Grato!!!

Well situated not far from the centre of town and a good sized dorm room, well equipped with lockers and fans etc (when electricity permits). There is a nice rooftop terrace for breakfast/a chill with views over the town. The family was friendly and welcoming, and helpful with suggestions/booking day trips and onward travel. I had a great time in Trinidad - muchas gracias!
