Hostal El Carmen

Beautiful colonial house, well situated, spacious and perfect for a short stay in Santa Clara, generously portioned breakfast; but without a doubt the best thing about Hostal El Carmen are the lovely, helpful and friendly hosts. They looked after me, gave me good recommendations, looked out for my safety and were extremely helpful and accommodating when my bus was cancelled late at night due to a fuel problem. They welcome you into their home as if you are part of the family.

The house is very nice with a beautiful garden. The owner decorates the house with a varity of antiques- radio, telephone etc. I appreciated and felt comfortable to stay there. The location is just walking distance to the city center.

it was a such nice staying! they borrowed a umbrella, becuase it was rainning. They treated us as nephew. I mean, they was so kind to us! Thanks for everything!
