Finca Eco Turística El Viejo del Monte

Really cool eco farm, with a lovely host who was so accommodating. Cute dogs too! was very hard to find the location and the kitchen didn’t function in the mobile home we stayed but overall good value for Costa Rica and a stunning and wild setting

The place offer beautiful nature and exploration opportunities on the ground. You can see many different animals e.g. sloth,Tuncans and cows. They offer as well a pool, an area to make a bonfire and a night walking tour. However, the kitchen is not well equipped and the bathroom was not cleaned within the 5 days i stayed there. The breakfast is not included although its said in the description.

The place is incredibly cute with a lot of space, a meditation platform next to a river and animals all around. I found it really easy to make contact with the other guests here. Jennifer was also really lovely and she cooked delicious meals! For just a little bit of money you can eat lunch and / or diner here (much better than the restaurant food I had!). She also let me borrow their bike. If you're looking for a quite place to relax, this is it :)
