MBar Hostel Haad Rin

The staff were super friendly and helpful .Sadly one thing that really bothered me, though, was the caged bird in the lobby. It seemed like it needed more space. It would be awesome if the owners could look into giving the bird more freedom especially with all the loud music and lights in the Lobby

Phon and the staff are so amazing! Everyone is very helpful and goes above & beyond to make sure you have a great time. The social atmosphere was perfect for me. Met great people, played pool, and enjoyed the djs. The female dorm I stayed in was fabulous. The beds are sturdy so you don’t feel if the person above/below you moves. My only complaint was the mattress was rather hard (even for SEA standards). Besides that, I had an amazing stay! Thank you 🫶

Perfect hostel for going to the full moon party! Nice rooms that are cleaned regularly. The staff are really nice and the bar is fun! Met people really easily to go to the party with as a solo traveller. Definitely one of my favourite hostels I've stayed at!

Perfect hostel to party in Koh Phangan !

Hostel was amazing apart from the fact that the beds felt like sleeping on a rock. They were super hard and uncomfortable. Also the toilet and shower are in the same room, so if somebody is in there you have to wait. Other than that, it was great! The staff were lovely and the bar was nice and social but you couldn’t hear the music from the room too badly :)

Staff here are really amazing. I tried 4 hostels in Haad Rin and this one was the best as the lounge is large, enough to do, and even though the party vibe is maintained all day and night, there was a level of understanding with keeping it a bit more chill during the day.

Very nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms with indoor and outdoor shower. Super comfy and wide beds. Its very loud at night so be aware of that. Maybe recommend you rent a bike since its kinda far from the rest of the island

A great hostel, amazing staff, great manager! Offers free body paint on the full moon party and is located right next to the entrance of the full moon party! Rooms where clean. Some of the best hostel staff we came across so far!

Das MBar Hostel war bis jetzt das beste Hostel auf meiner Backpacking Reise! Die Angestellten sind alle so sympathisch und tun alles dafür, dass du dich wohlfühlst. Das Ambiente ist auch super entspannt und es ist für jeden etwas dabei – egal, ob man Lust auf Party oder aufs Chillen hat. Wenn ich nochmal auf Koh Phangan bin, dann komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder. Ich kann dieses Hostel wirklich allen nur ans Herz legen.

Das Hostel ist wirklich extrem gut. Ich habe noch nie so nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter in einem Hostel gehabt. Man fühlt sich dort sehr Wohl. Es ist alles perfekt gewesen. Ich werde wieder kommen👍🏻

MBAR is one of the best price/quality hostels in Ioh Phangan! Rooms are ao clean, spacious and the common area is really cool! Pool, ping pong, fuzzball which makes a nice environment! Fong the owner, is the best guy and gave us so many nice tips and felt like home!! Location is perfect for full mooon and eden.

Amazing hostel, one of the best I’ve been in! Rooms were clean and spacious..even had a water filler in the room! The family that runs it is super sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

I was a little skeptical when I first got there but they really make you feel at home. I like how they get everyone included in activities as a first time solo traveler it was very nice. Highly recommend this place. If I’m ever back in Koh Phangan this is where I’ll stay!

Best Hostel in Haad Rin / Koh Phangan! I always come back, the atmosphere, the staff, the cocktails and the whole vibe is amazing. Especially for full moon party, it’s the best location and great DJ for preparty 🥳

Habe hier drei Wochen gewohnt und mich richtig zuhause gefühlt. Liebevoller und super hilfsbereiter Besitzer und unglaublich nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Sauber Bäder und tolle Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten (Billiard etc), Coworkingspace und Zugang zu einem Gym. Falls ich noch mal nach Koh Pangan reise, weiß ich wo ich unterkomme.

One of the best Hostels I’ve stayed in on my trip! The rooms are super spacious and clean! You get your own massive locker. The room of 8 I was in had 2 bathrooms! The staff are also super friendly and receptive. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Good stay overall, the music was the best around in the area when I was there, curtain didn’t fully cover the bed but was very comfortable. One of the bathroom doors didn’t lock meaning everyone was using one bathroom, this was the only issue during my stay. Wouldn’t rate it as high if it wasn’t for the staff they were very accommodating and nice, they even booked me a taxi when leaving without having to ask. Pretty clean and no bugs considering how close it is to water and the beach.

Eines der besten Hostels, in denen ich je war! Ich war sechs Monate in Südostasien unterwegs und habe viele Hostels erlebt, aber dieses gehört mit Abstand zu den besten. Der Hostel Owner nimmt sich Zeit für jeden Gast, gibt ehrliche Tipps und ist immer da, wenn man etwas braucht. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Nicht nur 5 Sterne verdient, sondern einen Michelin Stern on top!

This has been one of the best hostels I’ve been to. Both the staff and the facilities and Fon the owner are the best. Good location, good and friendly people and super good atmosphere. I was going to stay on the island for 2 days and I have been almost 7 days.
