El edificio y terraza del hostal son muy lindos. Sin embargo el hostal mismo no es bueno; al menos yo no lo recomendaría. Tiene cero vibra acogedora, la cocina y baños no son limpios, hay huéspedes que al parecer vive en el hostal y no hay actividades. Las chicas que te reciben en la recepción no te explican ni ayudan mucho, y te cobran 3 euros si quieres dejar tus cosas un par de horas después de tu check out. Leider ein sehr dreckiges und unschönes Hostel. Dies kann leider durch die gute Lage nicht ausgeglichen werden. Zimmer ohne Fenster und sehr kalt und zugig. Darüberhinaus nicht abgeschlossen. Betten eher hart. Die Gemeinschaftsräume und gerade die Küche sind aus Hgyienegründen nicht nutzbar. Also insgesamt eine absolute Katastrophe, weshalb wir früher abreisen mussten.

We slept here for 1 night. The air conditioner was broken and therefore inhumanly hot in the room, this was not stated in advance or anything done about it. In addition, one of the beds was dirty, full of hair and toenails. Talked to reception about this the next day but did not receive a refund as they said there was nothing they could do about it. Anything but a good experience here, should others read this. Definitely do not book your stay here.

towels and stuff were just lying around . transparent door bathrooms inside sleeping area , would not recommend this

This hostel is awful, seems like a refugee centre or a place for 18 year olds to stay for a few months in those hostel exchange programs. Also school trips. If you’re looking to have fun and are 18-30 don’t stay here. If there’s two of you a decent hotel room doesn’t cost much more and is better. The bar was closed on the rooftop as they said it’s too noisy, so I think that says it all. Cadiz nightlife isn’t that wild so staying in a hostel is a waste of time here.

Die Unterkunft eignet sich nicht für Alleinreisende, vor Ort waren viele Pärchen und Familien. Die Atmosphäre dort war sehr kühl und nicht familiär oder social, wie ich es in anderen Hostels erlebt habe. Das Hostel war sehr sauber. Leider konnte man in unserem Bad die Tür zur Dusche nicht schließen und das Licht ist während der Dusche ausgegangen… Unser Zimmer hatte auch leider kein wirkliches Fenster, wodurch ich mich noch unwohler gefühlt habe. Would not recommend. The bathrooms were dirty, the bed’s uncomfortable and filled with hairs. The kitchen was a mess. The staff was SO rude. There were weird people all over, some claiming to live there. The staff were yelling to each other about stealing and police, they would open the doors to the rooms when there was people inside. No, just no. I felt super unsafe and uncomfortable. 0/10 would never go back.

When I got to the room, it clearly hadn’t been prepared, no soap in the bathroom and the floor was extremely dirty. I informed reception, and they said it was because I arrived early (then why you let me check in?) I told them I was going out and there were no other guests waiting, so they could finish cleaning, at the very least restocking basic items. They said yes they will but they didn't care. Not recommended.

Various things went wrongly. I stayed in the room in the first floor with 10 or 12 beds in it. The smell coming from the bathroom was strong and unpleasant. The air in that space felt heavy. The light bulb by the bed was too bright and yellow, horrible choice. A couple of random tourists had a whole argument at 5 in the morning ( reckoning this is not the hostel’s fault). Weird vibes. Was in a room with a lot of old men and appeared to be a lot of long-term stayers as well as families and school groups. Shower flooded, wasn’t super social there either and was quite loud. Rooftop was pretty though.

The hostel has a good location. It suffers from thin doors on the rooms, so if anyone goes up or down the stairs, talks in the lobby, or opens the ridiculously heavy metal gate to get inside then every room can hear it. If the staff took one week of not having loud conversations or smoking and used that time to fix door handles in bathrooms, and dealt with the mold smells in the bathrooms then this could be a great place.

Apart from the kitchen, it's very clean. The rooms are nice and well-equipped. But everything is very noisy.

Me a encantado sobretodo el recepcionista Juaquin un gran hombre super apañado y antento siempre me acordaré de él , muy céntrico en sitio , tuve un compañero suoer apañado la gente super agradable.

Me gusta mucho este hostel, solo que esta vez que fui los baños estaban full sucios, pero del resto muy bien la verdad

This hostel has a lot of potential - it’s actually in a beautiful building and clearly has nice common spaces, but for some reason it doesn’t really work and there is a lack of atmosphere. We arrived later and had to do self check in, which was honestly disorientating. We received no explanation of how anything worked, and even though I had booked for two beds, we ended up having to go through the whole process twice to get the second keys which was frustrating. It was exactly what I expected from the pictures. The self checking works well. I arrived late and left in the afternoon so I did not had the chance to meet anyone. I recommend.

Uno de los mejores hostel que hemos estado! Todo ha sido perfecto y las chicas de recepción una maravilla. Ubicación perfecta, camas súper cómodas y la terraza una maravilla! El año que viene sin duda nos alojaremos aquí otra vez! 🤩

Algunas personas qué trabaja en el hostel deja mucho qué desear. Los voluntarios. Lo comentamos una persona europea y yo. Silbando en las zonas comunes ( cocina y comedor) una chica un día me la encontré en la habitación sentada en una silla 🪑 con cascos y mirando el móvil. Esa misma chica un día fui a cocinar y estaba ocupando todos los fuegos, lo qué me dijo qué volviese dentro de media hora. Es la primera vez q fui a este hotel y la verdad me encantó , super limpio ,cómodo, la seguridad está muy bien , el personal muy lindo ,muy atentos ,por el precio está muy , muy bien , las habitaciones son compartidas ,pero muy individual , son muy lindas ,con luz , es impecable la organización q tiene , y el baño super limpio , me encantó , volvería y se lo recomiendo a cualquiera q vaya y vea , son hermosas , tiene de todo , muchas gracias , y me voy contenta . Es muy tranquilo.

Even though there weren’t many people at the hostel, and it didn’t seem like a place to socialize — just to sleep and maybe cook if needed, the staff were really sweet with us and everything was tidy and clean.

The property location was nice and it was fairly clean, however, I got back from a night out to find a random man in my bed. I tried to tell him he was in the wrong bed, but he ignored me, there was no one at reception to help me and the number I called, no one answered. The property main doors stay open all night and really anyone could walk in and make their way to the room on floor 0. The man ended up leaving at 6:30am and I had to wait until 8am to ask housekeeping for new bedding.

Nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer und Betten. Küche fast immer sauber, kommt darauf an wie sauber die Gäste abspülen. Frühstück war eher mittelmässig aber Terrasse war nice! Lage auch sehr gut, bei Zimmern auf die Strasse raus eventuell nachts mal etwas laut.

I stayed here for two nights, end of October, the personnel was lovely, but as the season it's quite over there was not a joyful atmosphere. The only bad point it's about the quality of cleaning in the shared rooms wasn't that great and can be easily improved.

Stunning Hostel ….. I was convinced I had entered a Parador. Super clean and very well Maintained - huge kitchen with everything you might need including great options for guest food storage. Being originally a very grand house …. The rooms were all very big and spacious with excellent lockable under bunk storage with key lock. Fabulous walk in shower. Bathrooms super clean and bedding was top hotel quality. Roof Terrace was a dream and a Lift!! Can not praise this hostel enough. 5*****
