Victoria´s Beach House

The owner was trying to charge me double until I showed him my receipt from hostel world! Average cab ride from the airport to the city is 2-4 dollars. The owner, Roger; charged 15 and when I realized it was slot, I asked that he only pick me up one way; then he tried to make more money by saying if you do round trip is 30 and if one way to the airport is 20. You gotta watch out for this dude. Instead of looking after his guests; he rips them off!

Loved the place and Roger, only issue was the need to taxi anywhere due to the location, but facilities and place was excellent.

No outside sign to indicate where it is. Run down. The backyard under construction (starting at 6am). Not a good area for swimming. The rooms downstair smell the old basement Saw a few cockroaches in the bathroom (mentioned to the owner and told me I had to put more insects poison). Nothing interesting in the neighborhood. Way too expensive for what you get. It seemed a good option near the airport and ferry but the taxi or even transportation with the owner is expensive. Stay at BACKPACKERS!

Great place if you’re looking for somewhere to relax for a couple days. Roger is a great host and very kind

Roger was one of the best hosts I have ever met. He is kind and will do his best to make you feel welcome. The accommodation is perfect for winding down after a long trip. It is a little bit remote but there is a gas station nearby we’re you can get some food and buy some things. The back yard of the accommodation is an actual coral garden and it is nice to start your day with snorkelling for a few hours.
