Had an amazing stay at garden view. The tree houses are amazing and the owner is the kindest man I’ve met so far. He’s also an amazing cook. 10/10 would recommend

+ The place is beautiful. Enjoy the nature just next to the city. The place is 15 min walking from town, but the owner came to pick me up for free. The service is nice. Food is good and not expensive. You can also rent bike/motorcycle.
- The owner is a nice person. However he is (at least for me) a little bit pushy to sell you his tours/food (or to get a review) It could get a little bit overwelming over time, specially if you just want to chill in the place you paid to stay in...
+ Nice spacious bungalow with great views. Sophan, the owner is willing to help with anything and makes some realy nice homecooked diners. Banlung is a quilt city, not real ready for toerism but the surroundings have enough to offer. A craterlake an beautiful waterfalls.
- It is a bit basic and could use maintainance, but it didn’t bother me.
+ Friendly and helpful staff. The bungalow was very spacious and authentic. The location feels peaceful in the natural environment.
Very basic lodge but had a large bed and hot shower. Very spacious with nice views out the windows. Don’t expect luxury as it’s really a lodge and has some bugs and cobwebs about but it’s good value and the host will make you some food and do some laundry for you (and order a bus but it’s cheaper on 12GO), again don’t expect luxury but it’s perfect for a night or two before heading into the jungle for an adventure
+ Garden View lodge is such a peaceful place. Chill out with a balcony to see mountain views and a quiet close town where we can walk to the city. The owner is warmly welcome and he organizes jungle trekking for us a great jungle trek in the national park.
+ The best unique spacious bungalow in Cambodia, I never stay at a bungalow like that.chill out The owner was very friendly and I ate breakfast with a delicious banana pancakes and dinner. Unforgettable experiences we make a tour with him around a day tour and jungle trekking.

- The owner is the rudest person we encountered in Cambodia. He overbooked the hostel so I had to sleep in his room, which is not at all what I booked. I would have not had a problem with it but it was the most disgusting place I've ever seen, the place has not been cleaned in years. I've travelled in hostels in Tanzania and Africa in general and I've never seen that level of dirt. There were yellow and brown stains on the toilet and sink, there was trash under the bed, all kind of dust and dirt everywhere. I had to argue with the owner to have it cleaner and even after cleaning it was still the dirtiest place I've even seen. I'm used to do camping and hostels so I have very realistic expectations, but this place was really another level of nasty. There are also several big spiders in the rooms which the owner considers normal. I would seriously stay away at all cost. We also rented motorbikes from him at a very inflated price and had a couple of dinners, in the end we spent a lot of money and he had the courage to ask for 3% commission on credit card payments. Some people should not work in hospitality.

+ Bungalow dans les bois, très bon marché mais beaucoup d insectes, cafard, fourmis, souris, grenouilles dans la douche. C est la nature mais... Aucun produit de toilette, pas de savon ni de shampooing, ni de papier toilette. Je préférerais payer un tout petit peu plus cher mais avoir savon, shampooing et pq. De plus il est annoncé sur booking 3 restaurants. Il y a bien une petite carte de restauration sur place mais pas 3 restaurants
Sophann and his lovely wife were incredible hosts, the rooms were amazing, more than I ever could’ve asked for and the service was immaculate. Definitely will come back here next time I’m in Cambodia. Highly recommend
Beautiful location!! You get your own hut with incredible views. It’s quite basic, but I like that! It was a treat to have the room to myself (and a double bed!) The food was a bit hit and miss, some things were good and others not.. They had some beautiful kittens on the property while I was there which was super nice! The guy was a bit pushy about booking onto his trekking tours and I think he offers elephant feeding / washing which obviously isn’t hugely ethical. Bit of a walk to town...

Nice bungalows with a lovely view, breakfast and dinner are very good. It is located a bit outside the center. The hosts are friendly.
