- Schlafraum sehr klein, keine Ablage, momentan die ganze Stasse eine Baustelle Die ganze Küste überall Müll, ein no go
Very small hostel. It's just one dorm room and there isn't much space to hang out so it's best to just stay here for the bed. The location is great though, you can quickly walk to the beach, port, restaurants, 7/11s - very accessible to everything. Staff are lovely.
+ Situation géographique relativement bonne, des ingrédients pour le petit déjeuner.
- Nous avons eu du mal à récupérer notre caution et rendre les clés car il fallait remplir un formulaire google form à notre arrivée pour prévenir de notre heure de départ mais personne à l'accueil ne nous en a parlé donc nous avons du attendre longtemps le jour du départ en attendant que qqn arrive puis nous avons appelé l'établissement pour faire venir quelqu'un... Heureusement qu'on n'était pas pressés... Pas de souci pour remplir le google form mais je trouve qu'on devrait nous en parler à l'arrivée pour éviter les mauvaises surprises. Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre et casier petits.

Spent 3 nights here visiting Koh Samet, a great central location near lots of food spots and bars. Very clean throughout the whole hostel and lovely owners! A great place to stay for of looking to relax on an island
Good place to stay if you need a place to sleep, unfortunately felt uncomfortable with a different visitor in the room and ended up switching to a hotel. Not super social hostel for solos, is limited option on the island!

- I think a light in the pod overhead would be useful a reading light. The light in the pod is central and makes reading difficult.

The hostel owner Nick was a really nice host. super helpful and great facilities. Explained everything about the island and did his best to help. Bonus is the cute little dog.
A compact hostel with a welcoming vibe. The host Nick is super helpful and knowledgable about the island and many other parts of Thailand which made the stay even more valuable. Coffee, tea and cereal available, clean showers and nice beds!
+ Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed my time! Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The room and bed were great, and there’s plenty of seating in the common area to relax or chat with others. The bathroom (and room) is super clean thanks to the lovely receptionist Jang. Nick, the owner, is really nice and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. He clearly puts a lot of effort into making your stay great. Also, make sure to check out his guides as they’re super useful.

Cozy small place in the middle of town close to all you need. Got welcomed by nice people and the cutest dog! And if you need recommendations for the island, they have plenty.
Awesome little hostel right in the center of town. They do their best to make you feel at home and welcomed. Super comfy beds, little lounge area inside, free cold water, a fridge for your snacks and really nice washrooms. The owner made an extremely helpful island guide that really helps you make the most of your time here. Also the hostel puppy is such a cutie and is always up for snuggles or pets. Would return if they weren't sold out!!
I had a great stay at Cocoon Hostel, the bed was super comfy (and you get 2 pillows!!) and the bedroom and bathroom were kept clean at all times. The staff were also lovely! Loved the location, near pier and also the Main Street & beaches. Would highly recommend :)
+ Great place to stay when visiting the island as its in a great location next to good restaurants, the ferry and beaches the staff including the owner are great and friendly free lock with locker free water refill
- It would be nice if it was more social got too hot, fans would be nice
Great place to relax for a couple days. Run by some of the nicest people.
+ Small family run hostel with just eight beds in a dorm. Owner and other staff very very welcoming and provide good information for stay - owner has written an island guide which you can access with lots of good information on places to go/ restaurants/ bars/ trips etc. Good location - just a couple of minutes walk from ferry port. Very clean and other guests friendly and considerate. Free breakfast/ tea and coffee provided and laundry done for a small charge.

+ Nick, the owner, is very friendly and helps wherever he can. During my stay, he also shared a few things beyond the usual hostel small talk, which was very interesting. My bed was typically quite firm for Thailand standards, but still comfortable. The air conditioning also runs during the day, which is great for cooling off when coming back from the beach. If you need to work remotely, you can do so in the entrance area. For phone conferences, there is also a small side room where you can be alone. The Wi-Fi works well. Since I only worked a few hours a day, it was fine for me, but I wouldn’t want to work full-time as it’s a bit too uncomfortable for that. I would come back here again. Staff presente, competente e ultra disponibile. Mi sono sentimo molto a mio agio. Il titolare ha anche realizzato una guida interattiva sui punti di interesse dell'isola. Stra consigliato. +++++

best hostel I've ever been to

+ Honestly this was my best hostel stay... probably ever? The beds were spacious and comfortable, plugs were universal so no need for an adapter, the towels were soft!!!! The owner was super helpful and has written out a guide with loads of great tips.. will definitely stay here again if I get to come back to this paradise island...
It was the perfect place to stay in Koh samet. The location on the Main Street makes it easy to access the beaches and so many restaurants. All the amenities were super clean and the air con worked well overnight. Definitely would stay here again!
Great Hostel only a quick walk from the pier, the hostel is clean and the beds are comfortable with good AC, the hostel is chill and siocal, the owner Nick is very nice and knowledgeable about the whole island so if you need to know what beeches and restaurants are good he will let you know, I really enjoyed my stay here and it would be my go to hostel on Ko Samet 10/10
