Slawek is an amazing host. He did everything for me to feel comfortable during my stay. The location is perfect to explore both the Old Town and Kazimierz. Highly recommended.

Slawek is so lovely! We had a group of 20 people, and he was incredibly generous and a great host. He gave us great recommendations of places to go and foods to try, and was all-round a very inviting host. Everyone in our group is already chatting about coming back and staying with Slawek again!

I’m very impressed with the service, and the stay in general. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in krakow and I think it is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in.

ARS is not like the typical hostel Krakow is flooded with today. This hostel still breathes the old charm of Krakow in it’s glory days. It has a lot of character and the location is great: perfectly located inbetween the Old Town and Kazimierz. A walk to Plac Nowy is only like 5-10 minutes away. Same for Rynek. And then I did not even mention Slawek yet: the friendliest and most helpful host you will find in Krakow! This hostel is not for party animals, and I hope it will stay like that :-)

Great location, bright and comfortable space, and the owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! The hostel is in an older building, has a bright & comfortable shared lounge space, a kitchenette, and nice, functional bathrooms. The bed was comfy, and the room even had a small balcony. The area is fantastic - full of cafes, restaurants, and design shops. The highlight of my stay was Slawek - he was positive, welcoming, thoughtful, and endlessly kind - definitely recommend staying here!!

Very old and dirty

Everything was great. It was the perfect place for me to slow down my pace a little bit, get some laundry done, get rested up, and leisurely take in Krakow for a few days. Owner was awesome as well.

I would give this hostel more stars if I could. Our host Slawek went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one - we will not forget you my friend! We had excellent sleep every night (and don't often sleep that well even in top hotels), enjoyed a spacious balcony and good showers, and the gluten-free café downstairs serves up some of the best zapiekanki and pierogi in Kraków! Slawek gave us excellent recommendations for trips nearby the city and is a very generous host. We'll be back!

No frills but ripper value - kitchen, bathrooms, room were all clean and functional. In the perfect spot to duck to Jewish quarter or old town. Owner is the nicest host I’ve met over 50+ hostels, proper Darwin energy, exceptional bloke, very kind and generous and seems he’d move heaven and earth to sort you out. Perhaps if you’re flying solo you’ll have an easier time meeting people elsewhere but for groups/couples recommend.

It was very empty literally no one not even a reception. Felt dirty and not a functioning kitchen, which was disappointing

The host was so nice, helpful and flexible. The location was perfect - really close to the Old City but also close to the Kasimir. The bathroom was a bit nasty, but otherwise everything was clean and ok, even though old. The old house was not too hot, even when the tempeture outside was quite hot.

We only stayed for one night but wished it was longer, the host welcomed us in and went above and beyond to accomodate us would highly recommend will be coming back

Slawek will make your stay amazing! He was the best and kindest host we have had in our stay in Poland. The location is great, close to Rynek but also on a quiet and peaceful street. The rooms have beautiful old tile woodstoves which is very cool!

We have a wonderful time in Krakow. The location of the hostel was perfect and the staff was super friendly and nice, they helped us in everything they could. I’d 100% come back

A 10 min walk to the old town center, place was quiet, clean, and secure. Slawec, the owner is extremely friendly too, and made the stay special for us. Id gladly stay there again.
