Ecocio Backpackers Hostel

It's a super nature induced area. It's a bit out of town, so you'll have to rent a scooter to get into town but it worked great for my boyfriend and I. If you're wanting something a bit quieter, in an area where you're surrounded by nature, this is your place! If you're looking to be social and party, it might not jive with you as well.

staff where amazing if your looking for somewhere to relax this place is amazing a little bit out of town but only 150-200 pesos and a 10 min drive into town. everything is pretty open but just adds to the vibe overall amazing stay

L’hôtel paraît sympa aux premiers abords, lors de la réservation sur hostel World et qui le devient encore plus au vu du prix annoncé. On t’annonce 3€ pour une tente individuelle. Endroit calme et tres eloigne de la ville. Tu arrives et on t’annonce qu’il n’y a pas de tentes disponible pour toi et que ducoup le prix double voir plus que double. Finalement apres negociation je maintiens le prix original reservé sur hostel world. Tu dors alors dans un dortoir avec le strict minimu...

So peaceful and relaxing, staff will sort out tours. Jungle vibes, toilets are classic philippines use a bucket to flush, showers are good, don’t expect 20 mins of hot water but 5 min is fine. Food is nice, everyone’s just chilling surrounded by nature. Bonus points if you get to chill with the cat “prince”. You do have to get a tricycle lift there and back from coron town (150-300 pesos depending on time of day) which is chill.

This place is a corner of paradise hidden in the jungle. Of course this is not a 5 star hotel and if you are expecting that, steer away. But if you want to experience how is it to leave in the jungle this is the place to be. The owner and all the staff is spreading good energy to the world. A feeling of peace and happiness permeates everything and your soul will not be spared. Of course something could not be perfect but they will know how to make it right. thank you for everything 💚

Das Hostel ist wirklich ein kleiner unbefleckter Teil Natur wo man gut abschalten kann von dem Trudel der Stadt.Wir hatten einen Motorradunfall mit dem Motorrad des hostels und die Besitzerin des Hostels hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert und uns eine Heilpflanze der Philippinen gebracht zum versorgen.Auch Ben und Lena sind wirklich richtig lieb und zuvorkommend.Das Essen im Hostel ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker, jedoch muss man auf Getränke und essen sehr lange warten. Jungle stay, prepare for bugs and damp clothes :) the owner is a lovely woman and helps you with all your concerns. Same goes to the other women working there. Stay away from the catering or maintenance guy (my airport shuttle driver called him to verify the price I agreed with the owner). I don’t know him but he just yelled at me on the phone, accused me of lying. He refused to call the owner to verify my words. He said he doesn’t care and just wants me to pay what he says. Fantastic experience. The place is an absolute dream and the owners even more so. Leni was so sweet as well as her son and all the dogs and cat at the hostel. If you’re looking for a great experience in the outdoors I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a great time! Gen was so lovely and welcoming and with Ben, they’ve made such a unique place to stay. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful hostel! lovely staff & the food is amazing. Chilled but sociable vibe, tours available too. Cute puppies & kittens too which is a plus. 200p in to town on a Tuk Tuk. Very Little negatives- I do think there is too many beds in the dorms, you have to climb over people in bed sleeping to get in and out! And the bean bags are like rocks so there is nowhere to really lounge!

One of the best eco hostel I have stayed in, great service, best food ever in Coron. I would visit here every time I visit Philippines.

Die beste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war. Viel Platz im Zimmer, sehr bequeme Matratzen und alles sauber. Nettes Personal und leckeres Restaurant, welches alles selber macht. Sowohl der Dorm als auch die Bambushütten ein schöner Ort zum bleiben

Best place you could stay! Amazing food, people, puppies!! Quick trip to town but worth it for the peace and love of the jungle !
