+ Staff were friendly and helpful.
- I booked the hostel for 3 nights but ended up not staying for even 1 night. Rats roamed the sidewalk outside the street due to the close by food market. I booked a private room which was the only room on the top floor. The noise from the social lounge/ hot tub was too much, I had no peace and it felt like I was sharing a room. The shower wasn’t releasing water and the knob came off when I twisted it trying to check which way to turn it on. I ended up washing with a tap coming out of the wall. My bedsheets were yellow and torn. It made me worried about their cleaning standards. I moved across town and found a hotel for just a little bit more and it was 100x more comfortable and the area cleaner. I would not recommend. Staff kindly tried to offer me a new room but I just wanted to leave. A waste of money as the booking is non refundable despite the issues.
+ Except the location within Chinatown, close to the metro, although the staff named Noresha was very rude and disrespectful, she has some kindness to let us check-in early.
- The private room, a twin room was a cage!! I was so shocked. Even in a prison, they have more space than we had. They were only room for the beds, a bunk bed not even two twin beds and that's all. We could not move freely, we had to step out each time to turn around. Our luggage stayed in the luggage area. For 24 euros ( more than one hundred MYR), i expected something totally different and free towels. For the same price, we crossed the road and got a deluxe king room in the same neighborhood the day after. Thanks God, i only paid for a night! ( I walk-in the hostel just after our arrival at 5am and asked if there were free rooms. We actually wanted to pay the night before so we could get some sleep, we were exhausted by the long travel. They told us to book online which i did to get a cage room). If you're a couple or not solo traveling, i strongly advise you to book somewhere else. Their double rooms are not worth the price at all!
+ Aardig personeel

- Told me to waive the fees then deny that
+ Location was okay
- The overall stay was horrible. I booked the single room and it looked like a bunker, no AC and worst part of all: upon lifting the mattress there were many disgusting stains and blood from bedbugs. I told the staff who was unbothered and moved me to another room, which had the same issue. They refused to refund me.
- The hostel has BED BUGS. Our female dorm and the dorm next door both had bed bugs. They moved us to another dorm which was supposedly free of them but we found them there as well. Seems like a reoccurring problem in all different dorms and they’re not really getting rid of them properly. Staff was very helpful and gave us tokens to do the washing and also fumigated our bags. But when I asked for a refund because we were moved from a 3 to an 8 bed dorm they told me to message the manager and he never even replied. Do yourself a favour and stay away from that place.
- BED BUGS!!! stayed in dorm 13, bed G (a double bed) shared with my boyfriend. Woke up at 3am and saw THREE bed bugs crawling around, informed reception and moved us rooms to a private room (the bare minimum). We were given coins to wash all our stuff in the laundry room, but were given 10 coins short of what we needed, and they refused to give anymore.. but they gave us BED BUGS. all staff seemed to not care about the situation, no apology at all. There were still people staying in dorm room 13 probably blissfully unaware of the infestation. There were also signs on the backs of the doors that stated everyday the will be "fogging and spraying insect repellent daily" we didn't actually see them doing this once, but it could also imply they already know about the bed bug issue. We are also down 140 ringgits to get our backpacks dry cleaned properly, which they didn't offer to pay for. I know it isn't the hostels fault that they got the bed bugs in the first place, but once they have them, it is their duty to eradicate them and take responsibility. They didn't care about others getting them and they didn't give a **** about us. Also the "unfinished industrial vibe" in the private rooms is grim.

Stayed for 3 nights in a female 2 person dorm and it was lovely, very clean and private, I felt super safe and it’s was lovely. They do a bar crawl which was a great way to meet people and the people who work there are all very nice and welcoming. The only thing I’d say is the walls are a bit thin and there wasn’t any window in the room but that didn’t bother me at all.
The Beds were very comfy & the rooms were spacious.
Beg bugs unfortunately. Chinatown is the best location for tourists in KL! I loved that they had the option for private single rooms as this is rare to find. I didn’t socialise much, so I can’t comment too much on the atmosphere, but they did do events. Most staff were nice, some were less friendly. I really did not like how the showers for me were literally in the lobby, so I would be running from the shower in my towel as other guests were checking in. The aesthetic of hostel was really pr...
Property in is a great location, good breakfast downstairs in the cafe each morning for guests, good A/C and good WiFi. The accomodation is very basic, shower isn’t great. The rooms need decorating, our room had loads of air ducts and pipes running through it. Was in private room with en-suite but was divided from room by glass panel, so no privacy.
+ Very convenient and friendly people
- Friendly reception and great vibe
+ Helpful staff, clean, good location
- Self service laundry.
It's a cool place, I liked the rooftop (the very top one). The bar and hot tub were cool too. The only thing is that you can hear all the street noise from the attic room. Maybe they could add better sound proofing to it. The location is right be chinatown with a bunch of places to eat at and see. KL is pretty cool.

Not very social & private room was essentially a bunk bed just with the top bunk sawn off. No proper AC either & no social area
Comically loud room. Vent. Doorbell. Condensation dripping on me. Drunks loudly chatting up to 2am in the entry hall right next to the bed. Moved room next night. Much better.

Quirky hostel in great location. Met some awesome people there in the bar crawls which go to cool bars and no pressure to drink. Fun to end up in the jacuzzi after too. The bedding is soft and comfy and bathrooms were maintained. We had a sink in our dorm which was nice too.
+ Cool vibes and comfy beds
- Sound transfers and you can hear everything from outside the rooms
+ The hostel is super nice and chill with the friendliest and most welcoming staff. Everyone was super lovely, but special shout out to Jose and Edgi. The beds were comfortable, the showers and toilets kept clean throughout the day and the complimentary coffee in the coffee next door is a wonderful way to start the day. The breakfast for a special price was also delicious and super good value for money
- Some rooms can be loud from the hallway and the live music outside
