YezYezYez - All Good Hostel

Nice location and common area, but lots of mosquitoes. The hostel claims it's "not fancy," which is true, but the prices are. They charge for everything, including 50k to leave your bag after checkout. Beer is pricier than the bar next door, and laundry costs more than outside services. They even charge extra for helping with train bookings. It’s also dirty, hot, and loud, making it hard to sleep.

Idk why this was rated so high. We were in the female dorm and the room smelled like sweat. Next to that, we did not have a door (just a blanket that covered “door”) and no blanket. You are not allowed to wear shoes inside which would be fine if the ground would not be so disgusting as here. The staff is really friendly and helpfull but i would not recommend this hostel.

Our private room was mainly made out of plastic and bed sheets with little protection from the outside world. The ‘air-con’ was a very old rusty fan at the end of the ‘bed’ (a mattress on the floor) and the shower (with no hot water) was a pipe taped to the ceiling. If you are looking for a very basic and cheap place to crash in Yogyakarta this is fine, the atmosphere was good and people seemed sociable. We left one day into our 4 night stay with no refund as it was not what we wanted.

I don’t understand why this property is rated so high. There’s a difference between basic and cheap. Stayed in hostels all over Asia and thought I knew what to expect from the pictures. You pay extra for bed sheets, pay to leave bags after check out. Barely any cleaning done and moldy pillows. Mosquito nets have holes and you are basically outdoors so expect bugs. Staff were friendly and kind but all the negatives add up and until some TLC is done with this place I would suggest stay elsew...

Vibe is nice, but it is not very clean and the facilitiy/Equipment is damaged. There are a lot of mosquitos while the provided nets are damaged and too small. Moreover it is quite noisy. i would not go there again, even though the staff abd people were super nice.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage. Aber nicht wirklich das gemütlichste Hostel und die Sanitäranlagen könnten sauberer sein.

Ich habe die Atmosphäre dort sehr genossen. Leider sind überall sehr sehr viele Ameisen, auch im Zimmer.

Bon rapport qualité/prix et Darius était très aimable! Bon emplacement dans un chouette quartier.

Prima hostel en het is makkelijk om mensen te leren kennen. Er is een straat met veel bars en restaurants om de hoek. Het hostel zelf was niet heel goed verder. Het was niet erg schoon en er was geen airco waardoor het erg warm was. In de slaapzalen kregen we ook geen deken om onder te slapen, qua temperatuur was dat niet erg, maar het is wel fijn om de optie te hebben om onder een deken te slapen.

Super leuk hostel!! Hele aardige medewerkers, we hebben hier echt tot rust kunnen komen. Lekker zwembad en het maken van connecties is erg makkelijk! Het hostel bied veel workshops en tours, ze kunnen het voor je regelen of je de gegevens geven om het zelf te regelen. De slaapplekken zijn best primitief, maar de all female kamer was echt prima.

An sich ist das Hostel vom Vibe super chillig! Ich wurde spät abends noch herzlich empfangen. Es gibt einen Wasserspender und der Außenbereicht ist toll. Mein 6er Zimmer hatte allerdings keine Tür und es war total stickig.

Such wonderful and laid-back place, I would definitely recommend! 🌞

Perfectly located in a chill cuddled setting.

I just loved it! it is a simple nice and with a very good atmosphere place. If you want to be with people you can and if you need your own space you also can. I loved Dario and how he help me with his good vibe and calmness! For sure, if I'm back to Yogyakarta, I'm coming back here!

Mir fiel es wirklich schwer diesen Ort zu verlassen. Dies ist kein Hostel, es mehr ein wohlig gemütliches Heim. Bei egal welchem Problem wird geholfen. Wenn ich wieder in yogja bin, auf jeden Fall hierher. Danke für diesen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt 🫶🏼💜💜💜

My favourite place of the entire trip so far. The vibes are fantastic, the rooms are great, the staff are amazing and there is a pool. Very social hostel, great if you’re travelling alone!
