Double'D Hostel

The property only provide wardrobe lockers with a key lock that you haven’t to use. You can’t use your own padlock. Which I don’t like already, as it means all the staff have access. However, me and my friend both had money stolen from us in cash from our lockers. Me at least £100 total and her about £30. lovely little hostel! very quiet, not much going on and absolutely no pool! it was nice enough just not what i was expecting at all! the rooms are super clean and great showers!

Mitarbeiter (oder auch Inhaber?) war überhaupt nicht zuvorkommend, ich empfande ihn als sehr unfreundlich. Die Lage war Katastrophe, ohne Roller kommt man nirgendwo hin und das Hostel war ebenso gar nicht social

Der Besitzer war so unhöflich und hat mir null geholfen bei fragen etc. hab nach schnorcheltouren gefragt und er meinte jedesmal einen anderen teureren preis als davor. Sehr schlecht zum Leute kennenlernen. Keine Empfehlung. Würde nicht nochmal da übernachten

Bed bugs beware!! The hostel is not in a good location and had no social atmosphere.

After their faulty bike made me crash, they over charged me to fix a bit of plastic on the bike. Also gave me the number of a doctor who charged me hundreds to clean my wounds. The lack of care and exploitation of their injured customers is something I’ve never witnessed before.

Accomodation was really nice and the location is good if you’d like more of a local experience! However, as we didn’t rent scooters we relied on the hostel booking transport for us, which they totally ripped us off and the price was non-negotiable. We also booked a tour of the island through the hostel expecting a local guide. But when we got our drivers, they were 3 teenagers who weren’t from a company,didn’t speak English and didn’t give us helmets. Both the staff and drivers were su...

Waren für zwei Tage dort und die haben vollkommen gereicht. Leider ist in der Gegend nicht all zu viel zu machen und alles andere über 40min entfernt. Die Zimmer sind groß und man hat viel platz für sich. Betten waren sauber (was mit das wichtigste ist). Dusche war kalt, aber voll okey bei der Jahreszeit. Frühstück für uns, so wie in den anderen Bewertungen geschrieben, nicht sonderlich gut. Aber es ist schön, dass es angeboten wird.

This hostel was just ok for me. The place itself is super clean, staff are helpful and friendly but the vibes were kind of off. It was difficult to get around from here and the road leading into the hostel is quite dark at night so I didn’t feel comfortable going out on my own at night. There were no hostel activities organized and it seemed like most people spent their time out of the hostel. To make a better stay I would recommend some organized activities and privacy curtains on the beds.

The hostel is comfortable and nice but there is nothing in the area and the tours they provide aren't good.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits au Double D en famille avec des ados. L'endroit est très agréable, la piscine bienvenue, le personnel très chaleureux et les chambres propres et accueillantes. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Room was very comfortable and having air con too was great! The staff are all super lovely and very helpful. Nice and simple breakfast every morning and they helped us get back over to the harbour for our boat to Lembongan.

Excelente hostal cerca del puerto te puedes ir caminando desde ahí. También arriendan motos y en la recepción son muy serviciales. Las camas andan bien y súper buena disposición. Quizás faltaría un poco más de ambiente pero creo que es lo indicado para estar en Nusa Penida

We really out stay here! It’s 20-minutes away from the pier but there’s lots of restaurant and supermarkets close by!

We had a good stay. The breakfast is very easy but fine!

It was great! The only thing was well the breakfast could be better served/option(?) Also if u want to stay another night then it’s more cost than booking thru app

Das Double D Hostel auf Nusa Penida war einfach fantastisch! Die Sauberkeit war herausragend und das gesamte Hostel sehr gepflegt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Gusty, der unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit war – er hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sogar verlängert! Die Tagestour, die er organisiert hat, war ein echtes Highlight. Tolle Atmosphäre, bequeme Betten und insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich vermisse meine Zeit dort sehr :')

It is very quiet and can give people a full rest during the tired trip. After I went to snorkeling and came back, I found that my bed had been cleaned, and I was very considerate to tidy up my personal belongings. When I checked in, he introduced me very intimately and recommended the food nearby to me. It's so sweet.

I really loved this hostel! Lovely staff, good breakfast and tidy! They offer services such as bike rental, tours, ferry tickets and the staff is always willing to help :)

The hostel is one of the cleanest I have ever been to, the rooms are really spacious and there are good community spaces. During my stay it was a bit quiet, but I felt really safe the whole time. The staff was very nice, always helped me with everything:)

Excellent hostel! Very clean and amazing breakfast. Gusty is very kind and loves to help organizing your trip. The only way to improve would be curtains on the bed, but totally recommend staying there! :)

Nice hostel. Had free self serve breakfast. I was in a 6 mixed dorm wish there were curtains. Super chill calm and quite hostel. Not super close to much. Would 100% recommend renting a scooter as soon as you get onto this island.
