the people who work here are extremely pleasant and helpful, but unfortunately i had an uncomfortable stay. there was an ant infestation in my room that i just had to deal with & the ants kept getting into my luggage so i spent a lot of time cleaning that up. the bed was really uncomfortable, i slept on top of one of the two pillows they provide to be more comfortable. and the walls are really thin. the location in venice is amazing, and that’s what you’re paying for. not worth the price tho
It's in a nice area of the city, close to everything. The facilities are quite good, although the price is quite high for it ( but this is normal for the city)
Hostel was fine. Nice reception but a little on the grimier side. Still clean, but I felt that price was expensive for what it was. You can add on breakfast for a small fee, but i didn’t do it. Downside is their luggage storage is a completely unlocked room that anyone can come and go from if they please. I ended up using some lockers near the train station instead. Probably would find somewhere else to stay if in Venice again.
Great hostel!
Good spot in Dorsoduro, quieter area but a short 10 minute walk to Salute, then a quick Vaporetto over to San Marco to get to the main sights. Pretty clean, could’ve been cleaner in the bathroom though, and the shower was a bit tight, but for utility everything worked, bed was comfortable and I had a little patio. Good overall and I’d come back.
Great location close to both Zattere, and the Accademia. There were lots of nice places to eat nearby. Very quiet and comfortable. We really appreciated the kettle for making tea in the room. Breakfast was standard continental, with good coffee from a machine that you helped yourself to. The room was a little warm, but that may have been because I was using the air conditioning unit incorrectly. Very clean. I would definitely stay again.
Mi sono trovata molto bene, vorrei capire però perché ora una stanza costa la metà. Io pagato 170,00 euro, mentre ora le stanze per due costano dai 66,00 ai 90,00 euro. Mi potete spiegare il motivo?
I'm quite happy with my short stay at Casa Academia! The staff was quite accommodating, finding the hotel was easy thanks to their directions. The neighborhood is a bit more quite, still quite close to some restaurants and many touristic sites. The walls were relatively thin even though other travelers were quite, I would recommend a pair of ear plugs for more peace.
Great no frills place to stay. More affordable than the very crowded areas of Venice. Secure. Lovely area of the city and very quiet at night. Can hear the (church?) bells ring during the day on the half hour :). During the day, kids play outside and people stroll past. No strong aesthetic design to the place or rooms. The outside of the building and entry way are very charming. Upstairs terrace was great. Convenient walking distance and several water taxi stops within minutes.

Incredible stay, well kept and helpful staff, in a nice neighbourhood and is walkable to all of the main Venice sights.
Excellent location and sufficient room/facilities. Great value for money - I would definitely recommend and stay here again!
This place is a great value for the heart of Venice. It is definitely more of a hotel than hostel, so don’t expect a ton of socializing.
Best hostel breakfast ever! Quiet and very clean. Staff were awesome. Would recommend if wanting to recharge.

Awesome spot. Thank you!
It was my second stay at Casa Accademia, the location is ver good and central, the rooms simple but reasonable, the stuff super nice and can also recommend the breakfast and courtyard. Can highly recommend and when in Venice will visit again!
Everything was perfect. Great Location.
Perfect location for walking and water ferry transport, friendly and helpful staff, large clean room and bathroom, great mattress, nice amenities, & good breakfast for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
The staff here were so sweet. My flight was delayed so I didn’t get in until midnight - we were able to arrange a late check in so I wasn’t stranded. AC in our private room was amazing and breakfast was well worth the extra money. And it’s in the heart of Venice, made everything so easy.
Nice comfy rooms, with a good location! Right around the corner from a cute and cheap mini pub

For the price is an amazing place, highly recommended
Das Schloss der Zimmertüre war fast nicht aufzukriegen, das war jedesmal eine kleine Zitterpartie. Nach 2 Tagen wussten wir wie es doch fast funktioniert.

I found the bed too narrow.
Highly recommend this place if you would like to stay on the island. This place was outside the city center so it wasn’t as busy or loud but still within walking distance of all the tourist spots! The reception was kind and very helpful.
