+ フレンドリーでカインドなスタッフ
- 夜中に掃除してるのか洗濯してるのか夜12-3時廊下でガシャガシャ物音が絶えずしていた。寝付けなかった。
- One of the pillows smelled like sweat and puke and was dirty stained. We checked in late so we left the stinky pillow in the corridoor and slept the first night with one. In the morning i addressed the staff (Ranjan) and we went to look for extra pillow in storage but there was no extra pillows. He offered same pillow with two pillow cases but I said I will buy myself a clean pillow from ikea for next night as we did. Seems that the pillows and duvets are never washed or changed as there are no extras. Especially in the hot summers this policy is not up to basic cleanliness standards. The drains in the room were smelly as they were probably not cleaned and had build up/clogged with hair,grease. We kept ac and balcony door open to have the air change at night. Gave staff member (Ranjan) a possibility to fix the situation in the morning for the next night (our last before catching our flight) but showed indifferent attitude. I would recommend a hotel instead if you want to get a proper rest.

+ I checked out after the first night because the room temperature was unbearable. Also, all fee paying people staying at the hostel were asked to move to stools and not sit in the dining area which was reserved for potential customers looking to dine in the so-called restaurant. This was totally unacceptable. I slept in the crappy lounge all night and departed early after a decent breakfast. Not to be recommended.

The place is clean, modern and tidy but i stayed in a dormitory with no much space even to open my luggage. Like i had to open on a narrow corridor where the other traveller couldn't cross. Staff are friendly but there is no much interaction, maybe culture barrier. I think they don’jt understand the concept of hostel. It is not like cabin hotel. Most of the traveller are willing to meet with new people, especially locals to get more of a trip to Japan. Overall it is a very good place to stay...
Cozy spot in a calm neighborhood. Right next to a train station. Good for a backpacker to stay a few days in Tokyo.

Great hostel. Friendliest staff ever and the place was really clean! Great breakfast also.
The best hostel I've stayed at so far! I knew I was going to miss UNPLAN whilst I was still there. The eatery as you walk in is wonderfully designed, with fitting music and a certain charm about it. I fell slightly ill on my travels and had my first ever seizure after taking some medication I reacted to. The staff were exceptional at taking care of me along with a fellow traveller from Mexico whilst the ambulance was on its way. I won't name employee names for privacy reasons, but super job!

+ It’s got everything you need and more. Decent breakfast for a hostel. Though I didn’t take advantage of it the kitchen/dining space for the guests looked well stocked, also an affordable cashless laundry facility- probably a godsend for long term travelers. Rooftop seemed nice as well. Well located- 10min train ride to Shinjuku after 15min walk to Iidabashi JR station, walking distance to Imperial Palace area/10min train ride to East Tokyo(Ginza area). The neighborhood has full of bars and restaurants, more so for domestic tourists than the incoming foreign tourists.
- Too many beds in one room(at least one I stayed) I felt like I was in a human storage! Maybe that’s just me. 1st floor looked nice but while it functions as a bar/restaurant I wasn’t sure if the patron can hang out without paying for food and drinks.
+ Staff was mostly friendly, very clean facilities, dorm was cosy and spacious enough for a bunk
- Thought it was going to be more social - most people seemed to keep to themselves

+ Я останавливалась на две ночи в общей комнате, и это было довольно комфортно и безопасно. Хостел хорошо оборудован, предусмотрено все необходимое. Единственное я бы отметила, что не хватает места, чтобы вешать верхнюю одежду: рядом с кроватью ее хранить было не совсем удобно, особенно в дождливые дни
