- A place to avoid, very bad atmosphere, the owner should change professions.
+ The only thing we liked was that one of the staff had the guts to go find a microwave and bring it to our room so we could at least heat up water in our room. The A/C worked well too. But the rest was negative.
- When we got to the Red Hut, they said they were overbooked and didn't have a room for us so they took our money and said to follow the young man and we had to walk a block with our luggage, across a major street in the rain - to the Siesta Inn which they said was a "sister hotel". The room they gave us was terrible - they said it was comparable to their rooms! No blankets, no coffee maker or coffee, no breakfasts, no microwave, and then we found the TV only worked on YouTube and I had to figure out how to get any hot water for the shower for a chinese made On Demand Water Heater. The location made us feel unsafe so we didn't want to leave the room. What a lousy night.

- Kwamen aan in het donker ‘s avonds, stapten uit en werd direct meegedeeld dat overboekt was. Terwijl ik 4 uur daarvoor nog een bericht had gekregen met de informatie van het verblijf. Dure taxi genomen, moeten omboeken dus fors omkosten gemaakt wilde hier niet in tegemoet komen. Enige wat ze konden aanbieden is 50% op volgend verblijf. Erg slechte zaak!

+ Que simplemente me cancelaron la reserva en un país donde no hablaba el idioma
- Me estafaron, cobraron dos veces el costo de la reservación que ellos mismo me cancelaron y no me hospedaron, me pusieron sobre el camino a reservar desde otra aplicación más seria a buscar urgente otro lugar para tener donde dormir esas noches. OJO quiero añadir que toda esta estafa no abría salido también sino es con el apoyo de Booking, ya que sus políticas solo ayudan al estafador y dejan al estafado con un sin sabor y sin recuperar el dinero.... recomiendo a todo el que vea está calificación abstenerse de hospedarse en este lugar que roba a sus clientes, y sobretodo abstenerse de usar esta app o pagin@ ya que en colombia a ningun ciudadano le responderán si es estafado.... Estafado al doble con un mismo hotel u hostal.

- The staff and proprietor (Julia) were so hateful/angry and seemed to be really fixated on finding ways to get me to spend more $ at that place. (I didn't get to meet Lewis, Julia's husband.) I wouldnt recommend the mixed dorm for women. Weird off-putting vibes for the duration of stay. Throughout the night someone downstairs was violently slamming doors, the weird creepy guys that were staying there lurking around didn't help ease my "spidey senses". Inner guidance told me to leave in the middle of the night. I did just that. Felt safer on the streets of Belize City at the bus stop in the wee hours of the morning, sitting on top of my suitcase than trying to sleep at the Red Hut Inn. Never again.

- Le manager malséant, son agressivité (j'ai eu très peur), son refus d'annuler ma réservation lorsqu'il m'annonce un prix différent que sur Booking, sa volonté d'appeler la police. Établissement à fuir ! Attention amis voyageurs, ce lieu est dangereux !
+ Sincèrement ? Rien. Ah si, le café à disposition (lorsqu'il en reste) le matin.
- La malhonnêteté et les menaces sans vergogne du manager quand il s'agit d'aborder le thème des "9% de taxe" supplémentaires sortis du chapeau et des 5% additionnels pour utiliser sa CB, les chambres glacées par l'AC, le prix, les couvertures trop petites (15° dans la chambre, les pieds nus, cool on reviendra), les dortoirs clapier, etc. Très mauvaise expérience. Je préférerais dormir dans les rues de Belize city plutôt que d'à nouveau y séjourner.

- Extremely expensive for what it is. I've been travelling for 7 months & this place is the worst value for money i have ever seen.

Louise made my stay amazing. He made sure that I was familiar and knew the best places to get what I needed to feel comfortable. He speaks several languages and has a vibrant personality. He’s well organized and professional. This stay was amazing. I’m coming back with more friends for an additional stay.
We had a great stay at red hutt! The staff were wonderful with coordinating transportation for us at a fair price! We also enjoyed some of their meals they offered while staying and were very delicious! Good job to the chef! We stayed here at the beginning of our travels through Belize and the day before leaving. Would definitely recommend to others travelling through Belize city to catch a flight!

+ The breakfast hit "the spot"! I hadn't been home for a bit and it was all that I missed and more! Fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the family like setting and the congeniality of the hosts. I also enjoyed the neighborhood.
- The bed. It was comfortable but a bit noisy once you decide to make a turn, and I am a terrible sleeper.
+ Overall pretty clean, shared small fridge in room, solid WiFi, public bus nearby can go into town, safe area and place, quiet neighborhood
- Owners/managers not really hospitable, no public additional bathroom which is inconvenient if bathroom in shared room is occupied and I had an emergency, far from central area though not long ride with car/bus
+ The owners were so personable and sincere. Love this wonderful couple. They are both good cooks.
- In the room the drainage in the shower was slow so it backed up a little. But it drained.

+ Très bon accueil, toujours présents et réactifs quelque soit la demande, des gens adorables. Les petits déj. et diners sont bons et variés. Le rooftop est appréciable et convivial.

- Il y avait un surpresseur d'eau qui tournait en continu juste derrière la fenêtre, ce bruit continu c'était pas très agréable surtout quand on souhaite se reposer après avoir cherché l'adresse du logement à pied sous un soleil frappant ...

Muy tranqui.
The hospitality was the worst I’ve experienced, there is no kitchen nor are there useful amenities. The place is clean but that’s all. The location is also very inconvenient making you rely on the food they have or walking along the highway to find ta grocery store. If you are looking for a warm hostel experience this won’t be the spot for you.

- I letti troppo vicini, camera piccola per 4 letti a castello, mi hanno dato una copertina, dovevo decidere, se tenere i piedi o il corpo scoperto. Quando ho pagato, ho dovuto pagata il 5% in più dal prezzo Booking , perché ho pagato con carta . Lontano dal centro.
