This hostel is 10/10, bunk bed rooms are lovely. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Every room has a seperate safe to store your valuables and towels are included. Free breakfast is ace! Feels like a home, lots of places to chill and hang out whether you want to do that with people or on your own. Will stay here again whenever I come back :))

Villa viva is a really nice place! Super clean and the garden & the pool makes it to a really relaxing place in the center. Unfortunately they do not host activities. So if you‘re solo travelling and want to meet people, you need to be active in the group chat.

Great breakfast and bar for a beer or coffee. For downsides, I was in a 4 person room with 4 beds (not bunks), so there was no privacy or separation from each other. Was a bit weird, bunks with a curtain would have been much better. There was a whatssap group but there weren’t activities organized by the hostel which I think is a shame as that’s such a good way to get everyone together. It was overall a positive experience though and would recommend!

Amazing hostel would definitely stay here again when I next visit - staff were very friendly - shoutout to Bianca she is so lovely and made you feel welcome! Look forward to coming back to stay here again :)

Super easy-going atmosphere. Lots of room changes, but continued seeing familiar faces, making it feel like a mini community. Location is really convenient/central for Ubers, plus super walkable to restaurants on Kloof St and supermarket like Woolworths. Large kitchen, with labeling. Excellent seating both indoors and outdoors, couches, long tables, small tables - everything. Had many mini workspaces too (all open though). The pool wasn't used much when I was there, but people sunbathed!

I can see why they have such a high rating, this is a wonderful hostel that pays so close attention to comfort, style, detail, and a great place to meet fellow travelers and mingle. Comfy beds with power plugs and spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, bar, kitchen, and large common space and a pool! Great location, cool staff and such a fun place to just hang out. Def my go to spot!

I don't normally write reviews. this is the exception. An amazing hostel. amazing staff, people, volunteers, bar, social vibe. dorms are comfortable. I loved it. do yourself a favour. book here!

Excellente situation dans la ville : restaurants proches et sécurisés. Petit déjeuner complet. Bon rapport qualité prix. Des améliorations à apporter au niveau de l accueil-réception. Pour le reste , personnel aimable et serviable. A recommander absolument.

J'ai adoré y séjourner. Les espaces ne manquent pas pour lire, travailler, se reposer après une journée en ville. Le personnel est gentil, disponible, accueillant. Je recommande !

Absolutely loved this hostel! Amazing price for what you get. The beds were comfortable and there was a great selection for breakfast. The bathrooms were super clean (I saw employees cleaning them every day) and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!!
