Not worth my money..not paying for a towel nor to make my own bed

Lange Zeit beim einchecken und dann noch unglaublich unfreundliches Personal. Ein Zimmer zur Einzelbenutzung =2 Kaihüttenbetten 80cm breit zum selber anziehen, ohne Duschtuch und Zimmer ohne WC und Dusche. Kosten pro Nacht 130.- Franken.

We were surprised when our reservation in a mixed dormitory was changed upon arrival and we had to seperate. We had to pay an additional fee to get such a mixed room anyway.

In desperate need of A/C!!!! Was very expensive compared to similar places in other countries, but so was everything else in Switzerland.I really didn't like the towel-like bottom sheet.

Schönes historisches Gebäude direkt am Bach und nah am Rhein. Gute Verkehrsanbindung, sehr nettes Personal an der Rezeption.

Clean hostel located a bit out of the way of public transit. There is no social aspect to speak of so don’t expect it. Rooms are clean and quiet so if that’s all you needs it’s great. Showers are on a button with a 15s timer that you have to keep pushing to get water which is very annoying. Overall fine for a night or two but I wouldn’t stay longer. Food is reasonably priced for Switzerland.

I had trouble with payments paid on lone web quoted in $ but wad charged in swiss. Basel youth hostel is extra ordinary.

I think towels should be provided, otherwise people who stay 1 night can't dry it so store it wet inside the backpack. The hostel is not well indicated by signal post in the city for people who haven't access to internet.

Parfait ! J'ai été entièrement satisfait de mon séjour à Bâle.

es war super. vielleicht etwas überheizt, aber ansonsten fantastisch ! vielen dank dafür, dass es diese wirklich sehr tolle hostel gibt !

Building is amazing, well situated for the city. Staff were helpful. Bed was comfortable. Bring a 2Fr coin for the room lockers.

Een hele mooie plek met lekkere bedden. We misten wel een scherm om EKvoetbal op te kijken

The hostel was very clean and tidy. The employees were kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The best breakfast I've ever eaten in hostels. I was very satisfied.Thanks for everything

… und man kann auch noch seinen Hund mitbringen ( im eigenen Zimmer natürlich) Top!

Everyone from cleanong crew to front desk was just great in everyway

grouchy receptionists! but apart from that it’s a pretty nice place to stay right in the middle of town, with a solid breakfast too.

Einmal mehr ein toller Aufenthalt mit unseren Enkelinnen in Basel. Viel erlebt und gesehen. Die Juni ist dann abends immer ein guter Rückzugsort.
