Horrible and terrifying experience. Our flight got delayed which resulted at us getting there at 2am. We tried multiple times to get in contact with them and they did not answer. After being alone outside (2 young females) for an hour panicking for them to open, they finally did and greeted us with such a rude attitude. Please please please do not stay here. The area at night is not safe and the staff obviously don’t answer their phones.
It’s a beautiful place at a great location right in the centre, surrounded by amazing book stores. Had a nice stay! Ups: Great staff, kitchen, nice terrace, prime location, friendly people, they let you use their facilities even after checkout, which was super nice! Downs: Not as easy to socialize as a solo-traveller, because it’s so small and they don’t have table-tennis or other. No privacy curtains, expensive (more than 50€ +tax for a 12 bed room)
Despite the raging heat in Barcelona, the hostel offers only 1 pedestal fan between 2 beds, let alone any air conditioning. None of this was mentioned clearly while booking.
If you look at any of the bathroom vents they are covered in black mold and dust. The main key to enter the building is off. Required a sign for people to call a number just for entrance of the place you paid for. There is a central ac system unit in the hostel, but has been bolted up for the dorms and only available for the private rooms.
Helpful and friendly staff, central walkable location close to transit/main sites, and safe security. Smaller and cozy hostel is more quiet. No organized hostel events so not as social. Bed is comfy, you have your own personal locker and, lite breakfast is provided. Plenty of bathrooms - not dirty, but not the cleanest (mildew smell). WiFi is available but very spotty. Recommend and good place to stay but could be a better value for the cost.
Pros: Top Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, große Dorms und Aufenthaltsräume, schöne Terrasse, Frühstück, Handtuch und Bettwäsche inklusive, es gibt Ruhezeiten ab 23 Uhr //// Negativ: Bäder müssten mal renoviert werden, ziemlich teuer, da könnte einiges gemacht werden, nur ein Handtuch, im 4er Dorm lässt sich die Tür zur Verdunkelung nicht schließen, nachts also sehr hell, Fenster sehr hellhörig
Pros: Top Location, everything is within walking distance, large Dorms and living rooms, nice Terrace, Breakfast, Towel and Bed linen included, there are Resting times from 23 Uhr //// Negative: Bäder müssten mal renovated werden, ziemlich teuer, da könnte einiges gemacht werden, only ein Handtuch, im 4er Dorm the Tür zur Verdunkelung nicht can be closed, nights also very hell, Window very hellhörig

great staff, awesome location but you need a/c and the 10euros I spent on laundry only poisoned all my clothes with chemicals and they never dried completely so Ive been having allergy problems ever since I washed my clothes there. it smells strong and makes my skin and sinus inflamed. get rid of that toxic stuff immediately. also the free breakfast was of chemical quality as well and the fruits weren't fresh...otherwise decent hostel
We picked Fabrizzios Terrace Hostel because of the good reviews but we were a little disappointed. We had the impression that everything was a little run down and grubby. The bunk beds had no curtains and you could feel every little movement from your neighboor above. The staff was nice and the location good. But for the price we would not book it again.
It is definitly a hostel where you have the chance to have a quite time (therefore I was looking). The rooms are towards a big street, so it is quite loud. Also the rooms itself are badly loudproof. But hostel offers earplugs as well 😉 The kitchen is very well equipped. The best is the all day breakfast possibility of cereals, eggs, toast and juices. Also vegan mill options. The terrance is really nice and the common area as well. My bed was saggy, but maybe you are lucky woth another one....

I had a great stay! The rooms are simpel but clean, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended. Ps finding the front door can be tricky, you pass it easily.
I found Fabrizzio's Terrace to be absolutely excellent. The staff (Gardenia when I was there) were incredibly helpful. The room (4 bed dorm in my case) was airy, clean and quiet. It even had its own alcove with table and chairs looking out on the street. Lockable storage, charging points on every bed, combined toilet and showers so that you can get it all done at the same time, in private, even shower gel in the showers. The beds here were super comfortable - best i have stayed on. Vibe was quiet which was good. Unfortunately there was one other person who seemed to be yelling at maybe work colleagues on his laptop which was a bit uncomfortable. Shower was very small but were kept nice and clean.
Very good property to book. The location is ideal if you require to site see and go shopping. The property is always clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. Kamila makes a great cup of tea. All the staff are extremely welcoming and provide a good hospitable environment.

Me encantó este lugar tanto x su ubicación como el ambiente de privacidad. Que sea mixto para mi no fue un tema ya q habían espacios en los baños para cambiarme ya que la capacidad del lugar es reducida. Desayuno tipo self service,toalla incluida y vista con patiecito muy calmo. La única contra fue un huésped roncador pero el resto de diez! Pienso volver! Saludos
I loved this place both x its location and the privacy environment. Being mixed for me was not an issue as there were spaces in the bathrooms to change as the capacity of the place is reduced. self-service breakfast, towel included and view with very quiet patice. the only contra was a snoring guest but the rest of ten! i plan to come back! saludos

re lindo lugar, staff buena onda, el desayuno tenia bastantes cosaa y hay locker y toallas y te prestan cosas para la playa! no llegaba el wifi al cuarto, y las areas comunes cerraban muy temprano. y deje mi shampoo y mi crema de cara 1 noche en el baño y desaparecio, pero bueno detalles. gracias!🫀
Nice place, good staff, breakfast was plenty of stuff and there's a locker and towels and you can borrow stuff for the beach! wifi didn't come to the room, and the common areas closed very early. and I left my shampoo and facial cream 1 night in the bathroom and disappeared, but good details. thank you!

La Posizione comoda e centrale, le stanze pulite e spaziose e il personale gentilissimo e disponibile! Sono venuto a Barcellona per una vacanza da solo e mi sono sentito subito a casa! La prossima volta a Barcellona so già dove dormirò❤️

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Amazing social/common spaces the terrace is beautiful and there are also two lunges and a dining room to enjoy ! The included breakfast is an amazing addition and makes you feel really welcome and encourages people to hang out at the hostel and be social. There is cereal, bread, juice milk, coffee, tea and eggs aswell as butter. The property is clean at all times and you feel that any issue would be dealt with immediately by the attentive staff!

Everyone was so friendly, staff extremely helpful: even doing our laundry for free!! Who would have ever expected that?!? This hostel is a little hard to find as it is amidst apartments and stores and restaurants and can be loud at night, but the location is the best: close to everything by foot or public transportation. We are in our 60’s and don’t mind bunk beds. All day full breakfast foods and juices are provided, as well as a full kitchen and fridge/freezer for use. Clean beds/towels...
Great hostel with a nice terrace. Not many beds and can be quiet or loud depending on your interests.
Ayer nos retiramos de la hostal, la recepción fue muy agradable, el ambiente muy acogedor y limpio. Cerca de muchos lugares para recorrer a pie, sin lugar a duda volveremos.
Yesterday we left the hostel, the reception was very nice, the atmosphere very cozy and clean. close to many places to visit on foot, we will definitely return.
