We only booked this place because we were under a budget. The lock of the shower is old and rusted, and one of us was locked inside the shower. Other than this, one of the staff told me not to use the hairdryer while other people were still chatting in the toilet. The room was okay and without curtain, so no privacy. If you want to enter the building you can only ring the bell to tell the staff to open, they don’t give you key Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re in Barce...

Really well located in Barcelona and very good to meet new people on the comunal free dinners and the pub-crawls. I was so engaged with everythone that people tought I was part of staff 😅
This hostel essentially closes at 11pm, both the kitchen and the ONLY common room close at 11, only whispering in the hallways past 11pm. They should at least tell you beforehand that it’s go to bed or leave the hostel by 11pm. Other than that there is a company Sponge Life partnered with the hostel that puts on daily events and tours, they were great, hostel was mediocre.
Eigen kamer geboekt. Was teleurstellend. 2 losse bedden ipv 1 bed voor 2 personen (wel zo geboekt). Kamer was een grote lege, ongezellige zaal waar permanent een cv/koelinstallatie stond te draaien. Veel lawaai. Nachtpersoneel kon hem niet uitzetten. Na 1 nacht uitgecheckt. Geld voor de overige geboekte nachten terug gekregen!
The place is cool but the bathrooms and showers get really gross because there are too many people sharing them, and the cleanings are not enough. Also the kitchen was pretty dirty, the shelf that had the plates had no door and was all dusty. One fridge for the amount of guests they host is not enough. This type of problems really made my experience be less pleasant than i expected. I’ve been traveling for very long and this must be top worst experiences in a hostel
Do not stay at this place!! It's cheap because it's really bad! NO WIFI!! The entire place is dirty, especially the shower room, totally disgusting!
The Hostel has a nice location near the city centre and everything is within walking distance and the metro station is close. The kitchen was good and the common room nice. However the sanitary facilities were fatal. There was a mens and a womens shower, which were alright. But there was obly one bathroom with 3 toilets for men and women for the whole hostel! it was rarely clean and the same sinks had to be used for brushing teeths, no privacy at all! My room also wasnt excatly clean.
I'm happy that I'm out of there. Loud, sometimes drunk people coming/going the whole night, some were partying inside the rooms. Hairy shower and bathroom floors. Bad state of furniture. No room ventilation: bad smell. Mold in AC and showers. Apparently they didn't change the mattress sheets and blanket after people left. Internet was pretty slow (even to load short videos, plus it kept disconnecting). Good side: pretty, staff was mostly nice, good location.
Says hostel have aircon, but only in the reception hall, was impossible to sleep temperature in the room at night was around 30 degrees... wifi did not work and room of 6 beds smelled like hell... only booked hostel to feel the barcelona vibe, but very soon found out was a mistake... booked a room through airbnb for last 3 days and was cheaper and private room with aircon, definitely better look for a room not hostel at least this one...

Had a good time there. I stayed for the second time in that Hostel. The staff is super nice, the kitchen is well equipped and the chill areas are pretty nice. The only thing to criticize was that the showers were not really clean and that there were a lot of older men in my room, so it was a bit hard to connect with other people there. But I guess in a female dorm you would feel different.

Not sure how this hostel has such a high rating. The staff are super friendly but the hostel is full of weird people and no atmosphere amongst guests. The hostel is not very clean either, especially the toilets were always really dirty, full of poop. I thought one of the guests must have being having stomach problems but reading other reviews it seems to be a regular issue.

Big Hostel very close to plaza Caralunya, which it makes its position unbeatable. Lots of activities are offered and there is a nice terrace. The rooms are very noisy because of the street just outside and the bunks have no curtains, so no privacy at all. There is plenty of showers and toilets, so you don’t really queue for that.
Very good hostel. Not a huge one, perfect location, clean, safe, friendly stuff, free coffee and dinner. Terrace is truly nice, kitchen big and cute small common room. Just people don't hang out there much. It is a bit pity, because then it makes the atmosphere somehow off. Just a few go for free dinners and if clubbing is not your thing, one can hardly get to know someone.
The staff here were top tier - Nick specifically was amazing. It sucks that Barcelona is a party city - cos you aren’t gonna get much sleep in a dorm room. The bunks are adequate, so is the storage. They are super awesome with their storage room. The kitchen seemed ok - I didn’t really want to use it tho. Not really enough bathrooms and I ran out of toilet paper in one of them - Great location of hostel near train stop and walking distance from a lot

I don't even know what to say... I was here for like 3 weeks and it felt like being part of a huge group of friends. The staff is wonderful, they're real human beings, and the activities offer a lot of fun every day by spending really little. Not much more you can ask for from a hostel.
Todo impecable. El staff muy atento y el lugar súper limpio y cómodo. Ubicación excelente. Volveríamos sin dudas.

A pleasant stay. Great location, close to the Centre. Nice staff. The rooms are big, there is a lot of space. Fully equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were fine. However in onen shower there was a little dirty.
Muy bien ubicado, se llega caminando en poco tiempo a los principales puntos, Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, Barrio Gotico, Sagrada Familia etc. Muy limpio en todos los ambientes, bien atendido, lockers bien grandes, temperatura agradable (estuve en plena ola de calor).
Very well located, you can reach walking in a short time to the main points, Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, Barrio Gótico, Sagrada Familia etc. Very clean in all environments, well attended, locker rooms very large, temperature pleasant (it was in the middle of the heat wave).
An sich ist das Hostel in Ordnung, es gibt eine Küche, die Mitarbeiter/- innen waren freundlich. Jedoch war in einem unserer 2 Betten eine Bettwanze, weswegen wir das Hostel nach einer Nacht gewechselt haben. Wir haben den Preis für die anderen beiden, eigentlich gebuchten, Nächte wieder bekommen, was wirklich fair war. Auch durften wir kostenlos unsere Sachen waschen. Etwas schade also, dass es an der Bettwanze scheitert, da zumindest nicht augenscheinlich etwas dagegen unternommen wurde.
The hostel itself is in order, there is a kitchen, the staff inside were friendly. However, in one of our 2 beds was a Bettwanze, so we changed the hostel after one night. We got the price for the other two, actually booked, nights back, was really fair war. We were also allowed to wash our things for free. It was also a shame that it failed at the Bettwanze, since at least apparently nothing was done about it.
Me gustó bastante, lo único malo es que no tienes acceso al elevador de la planta , no es bueno si llevas mucho equipaje , las habitaciones son muy amplias y los baños son cómodos
I liked it quite a bit, the only bad thing is that you don't have access to the elevator from the floor , it's not good if you carry a lot of luggage , the rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are comfortable
Spacious, charming, clean. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of activities organized for the week. Not right amongst the most touristy areas, but not a bad walk. Only stayed overnight, but was quite happy.
Hidden door, but nice enough inside. The good: • Staff was nice and helpful. • Great location for walking • Free dinners The bad: • Bathrooms were very dusty and not clean. • Kitchen is only open from 8 in the morning which is a big minus for early birds. • Beds and the room in general was also not very clean
