Clueless host with zero hospitality experience. They refused to pick up the phone(3x), did not respond to emails,or whatsapp messages leaving me stranded for hours. They cite no booking and change course after 15 mins. Asked for a cancellation and they proceeded AFTER to charge my card in full, reported them for fraud. No clear sense of direction to the place, The hosts are rude, offer no help and make jokes on asking for details. I would avoid if you do not want to be defrauded and dismissed.

The refrigerator was broken for two weeks, and the manager didn't repair it, always coming up with excuses for not fixing it. The dishes and pots left in the hostel sat there for many days and began to smell. The dish soap had a very bad odor, as if it was spoiled. The manager wouldn't give me the access card and said I had to ring the doorbell. A few times, no one answered the door for a long time, and I was left waiting outside.

The manager of this hostel (Amjad) is not mentally OK. He has psychological issues. During the few weeks I stayed here, he made me very uncomfortable. He needs to be hospitalized and needs help. When you see him, you might think he is a polite person who respects you. However, gradually problems start to arise, and you will deeply regret coming to this hostel. During my time here, I experienced trauma.

HORRIBLE!! I love traveling around the world, this hostel is the worst I've ever been in by far. Although they are very clean and well located, I haven't been able to sleep all week, even though sleeping is essential in a hostel. Music and TV loud in the living room, drunk person who enters the hostel at any time at night and makes a lot of noise without paying attention to the other person. The location is great, the property is well maintained. However, I had the misfortune of encountering the worst people who had a problem with someone waking up early for work, and using the attached shower because it disturbs their sleep. Overall, a very poor experience.

This hostel is located in the Dubai Marina area, a very very nice area of Dubai. Most travellers were man when I went and many of them staying for a longer period. clean place, nice apartment, overall good value since its Dubai.

The hostel is very good located if you want to spend time at Dubai Marina. The manager was very kind and is trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. However, I really have to say that the vibe is weird. The hostel is very dark and the TV in the living room is simply too loud. In addition, the stuff is eager to keep everything clean but there is a lot of mould in the bathrooms.

The good: location is good near by a tram and the beach with a good view. Bed mattress is comfortable and the air conditioning throughout is excellent. The bad: quite a lot of damp mould in the main bathroom which also had a hole in the ceiling and had some bad tile work where it had been repaired horribly. No hostel events or social activities, fridges overfull with no labelling system, no key/fob issued to get in building or use pool/gym, paint crumbling in living area, washing expensive.

Chambre de 4 personnes pour femmes seulement. Proprepre Amjad passe chaque jour pour nettoyage et reassort. Les pièces communes sont également propres. Le service est au top, hôte : Amjad, sur place et disponible 24h/24, réactif, il répond rapidement. La localisation et à quelques mètres de la plage d'un côté et à quelques mètre du marina mall de l'autre côté. Le métro JBR à 2 pas quasiment accolé au bâtiment.

My stay was fantastic, amazing place clean and comfy. largely thanks to Amjad, the hostel manager. He was incredibly respectful and responsible, always making sure guests had everything they needed. Highly recommended.

I visited Grays Hostel from 2 to 12 February, and plan to visit it again. Everything is amazing, from the location, the amenities etc , all the way to the fantastic manager Amjad who is always there to meet your request! Excellent from every aspect, 5/5 for me is not enough 🔥🔥🔥

Very good option. Spacious. Strong WiFi, good beds, although space for your phone etc is very limited. Kitchen is good. Was pretty anti social place when I was there as everyone was always on their laptops acting like remote workers. Maybe was just bad timing. Manager was really good though. Recommend for sure if you’re on your laptop and wanting a clean and chill place. Ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau super wohl gefühlt! Ich war im 4 bed female dorm, was nicht nur einen atemberaubenden Ausblick (35. Stock) hatte, sondern auch eines der bequemsten Betten, in denen ich auf meinen Reisen jemals geschlafen habe! Die Lage ist top! Der Besitzer ist außerdem sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles war sauber und es gab eine gut organisierte Küche. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Burada 3 gece geçirdim ve 4 yataklı kız odasında konakladım. Günlük olarak temizlendi banyo ve odalar. Ortak kullanım olan mutfak balkon ve salonda iyi zamanlar geçirdim. Keşke ingilizcem olsaydı o insanlara geldiğim yeri kültürümü ve onların da kültürünü konuşabilmek isterdim ama olsun. I had such a nice stay here, I can recommend for sure! The beds and rooms were so comfortable, beds were and room temperature were perfect and female 4 bed dorm were single beds rather than bunk beds It was Amjad who made the stay what it was, he was so welcoming as he introduced me to the area and although I didn’t have much time to explore, he had many recommendations

much more organised then the other hostels bigger communal room and also have a room with 4single beds aswell

Super comfortable beds and a great view overlooking JBR. Amjad was great and super helpful. Definitely recommend.
