Olive Hostel Lagos

El hostal es muy limpio y la gente que trabaja ahí es super amable. Pero me parece excesivo el precio para lo que ofrece. Las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado y si abres la ventana entra un ruido que no te deja dormir. Es como si fuera una hostería antigua, pero con precios de hostal cool. Hice el checkout temprano para ir a la playa y después volver a darme una ducha rápida, la chica me dejó por buena onda pero me dijo que en realidad no se podía... primer hostal en que me pasa �...

They cancelled my reservation without calling! I reached to the city and I realised that I'm homeless because of them !

Great location and friendly staff. However, we expected a private bathroom with our booked private room — turns out it was a shared bathroom with 3-4 other private rooms. Bathroom configuration was strange with 2 shower stalls and 1 toilet all in one room. Showers were quite small as well and poorly lit. This was not the best hostel by far, but manageable for a backpacker or solo traveler for a night or two.

Very noisy. If you want to sleep don't go.

I was not a fan of this hostel. I booked an all female room to feel safe and comfortable, however, the doors to the rooms do not lock. I also had a very small locker outside my room that did not fit all of my things. The pillows and mattresses were not comfortable and the room itself was very small for four people.

Wanneer je van drukte, gezelligheid, feestjes houdt is dit de juiste plek! Ik heb echter geen oog dicht gedaan door alle dronken toeristen die ‘s nachts door de straat liepen. Het hostel zelf kan hier vrij weinig aan doen, heeft vriendelijk personeel en bied veel mogelijkheden voor contact met anderen, maar ik ben toch eerder vertrokken helaas.

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Hostel mit dachterasse! Hab es sehr genossen, jedoch leider sehr hellhörig, ansonsten war alles super!

I had a lovely time at the hostel! The place feels really homey and everything was always clean and tidy. There were mostly solo travellers so it was a social place and you could always find someone to hang out with. Gustavo, one of the people working there, was such a great person! He played the guitar for us, gave recommendations for restaurants and always made sure we’re having everything we need. I’d definitely stay at the hostel again.

Nice place. Well located and decorated. It’s got the stuff and the things. That’s about it though. Probably wouldn’t recommend, however it’s still nice x

This hostel was in a great location and has cozy areas to hangout in.

I loved it! Such a great vibe and fantastic location. Tons of spots for hanging out both inside and outside to meet new people.

Sono rimasta colpita dal primo istante dall'atmosfera che si respirava in questo posto, dall'arredo curato e accogliente e dallo spirito di Gustavo, il ragazzo che ci ha accolto. Sembrava di essere in famiglia, ottimo luogo anche per fare nuove amicizie, in quanto vengono spesso organizzate delle cene in comune nel rooftop, siamo state davvero bene. Consigliatissimo! Grazie di tutto.

Best vibe, art paradise. Every comer you look there is beautiful art. Great people. Awesome spacious kitchen and gorgeous rooftop. Fantastic location close to everything. We had a couple of concert nights - people got together and sang and someone played guitar. Everyone is so chill and kind. The hostess, Anna. Is amazing everyone that works there are beautiful people. Positive vibes. 100% coming again and again!

Myself and just about everyone I met felt like this was one of the best hostels they’d been to! Comfortable, cozy, well located, and social in the best way. Ut has a lot of character and feels like home. The common areas and rooftop are so nice to chill, read a book, or meet people. The staff and everyone was so nice! Really hope to return one day!

This was my second time in this hostel and it is still a magical place. So cozy that it makes you feel instantly at home. Loved Gustavo's music as well!

As a college aged student travelling in a group, it wasn't the best place people wise considering the demographic was more older solo travellers. Otherwise it was a good hostel, with good location and staff. Worth the money.

Best time in Lagos, missing Gustavo’s music and made up lyrics, such a fun lad. I also had the older receptionist really help me out a lot, super sweet woman. Also the people were so nice to find a way to send my jacket to me, which I had left behind, I ABSOLUTELY loved my stay there. Even the tiny heater in the room ❤️

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Cozy, ambient hostel. Fellow travelers feels like family and staffs were ready to help with anything. Lot of recreational activities as well. Highly recommend it.

Amazing hostel! Had a great stay there. It’s very social and easy to meet people, the kitchen is well equipped and the location very central. The staff was helpful and nice as well. I would definitely recommend staying here:)

Decent place to stay, staff were really nice and location was good. Hostel did smell a bit musty/damp but we were there during a rainy day so that could’ve been a factor. Wish they would invest in drawers under the bunks for your bags as the rooms were a bit disorganized/less secure for your belongings

Genuinely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It has everything you could ever need and more. Everyone is so friendly.
